Chapter 53 Breaking the Stalemate and Turning the Tide: A New Opportunity Appears

The light was dazzling, like a divine miracle.

Lin Yu hovered the spaceship in mid-air, but his mind was in turmoil: This treasure hunter Sun is really persistent!

"Old Kong, this guy brought an excavator, he probably wants to dig up the ruins directly!" Lin Yu complained.

"That's right, this guy's even more of a scoundrel than me!" Kong Yang chimed in, his eyes fixed on the strange light. "Old Lin, look at that light, doesn't it look like..."

"What do you mean 'looks like'? Let's deal with the immediate problem first!" Lin Yu interrupted him irritably, but a sense of unease lingered in his heart.

According to the usual pattern, this should be an earth-shattering battle, but he felt that something was not right.

As night falls, the desert's cold is like a series of sharp knives, and the biting wind howls.

Lin Yu and Kong Yang hid behind a sand dune outside the tribe, shivering.

"Why is this chief so stubborn? We didn't mean any harm," Kong Yang complained, rubbing his hands together.

Lin Yu wrapped the blanket around himself tighter, his eyes darting around.

“If the conventional approach isn’t working, we need to try something unconventional.” A wicked smile crept across his lips.

The next morning, Lin Yu appeared before the chief again, but instead of explaining, he directly asked a question: "Chief, I heard that your tribe has recently encountered some difficulties?"

The chief was taken aback and looked at him warily: "What do you mean?"

"It's nothing, I just wanted to help you solve your problems as a sign of sincerity." Lin Yu shrugged, looking completely harmless.

The chief and the surrounding tribe members looked at each other, wondering what this kid was up to.

Even Sun Xunbao, who was watching from afar, frowned. Something wasn't right!

"Hmph, stop trying to pull any tricks! Do you think you can fool me like this?" the chief sneered.

Lin Yu wasn't annoyed, but just smiled mysteriously: "Chief, why don't you tell me about your problems? Maybe I can solve them?"

The chief hesitated for a moment before finally speaking: "Recently... sandstorms..."

"Sandstorm?" Lin Yu raised an eyebrow.

The chief nodded solemnly...

In the distance, one of Sun's men asked in a low voice, "Boss, what's this kid up to?"

Sun, the treasure hunter, narrowed his eyes, a cold glint flashing within them: "Whatever he's up to, don't let him succeed!" He waved his hand, "Let's go, let's go take a look!"

The chief nodded gravely: "Recently, sandstorms have become more frequent and larger, severely impacting our tribe's livestock and water supply. If this continues, our tribe will..."

"Are we done for?" Lin Yu asked, his relaxed expression a stark contrast to the chieftain's serious demeanor.

"Actually, solving this problem is very simple."

The chief and the tribe members were stunned. This kid was too arrogant!

"What's your plan?" the chief couldn't help but ask.

Lin Yu smiled slightly: "Guide it."

"Guiding a sandstorm?" The chief's eyes widened. Had this kid gone mad?

Can sandstorms be guided?

The tribal elders jumped out to object, saying it was utterly outlandish and disrespectful to the gods!

“Young man, I know you mean well, but sandstorms are the wrath of the gods, which is beyond human control,” a white-bearded elder said earnestly.

"The wrath of the gods?" Lin Yu laughed. "I think it's more like an elemental riot." He pointed to the churning sand and dust in the distance. "The wind element is too active, causing the sand and dust to get out of control, which is why a sandstorm has formed."

The elders were completely baffled. What was this wind element and elemental riot? What were all these things?

Lin Yu didn't explain. He walked directly to the open space, raised his hands, and muttered something under his breath.

A strange power surrounded him, and the surrounding air seemed to freeze.

Sun Xunbao, who was watching from a distance, was dumbfounded. What was this kid up to now?

Suddenly, Lin Yu pressed his hands down sharply, and a powerful energy wave spread out. The originally violent sandstorm began to subside slowly, as if it had been controlled by an invisible hand.

The tribe members were stunned; this…

How can this be?

As Lin Yu moved, the sandstorm gradually changed direction, bypassing the tribe and sweeping away into the distance.

When everything settled down, the tribe members looked at Lin Yu with awe, as if they were looking at a god.

The chief was so moved that tears streamed down his face. He grabbed Lin Yu's hand and said, "Thank you! You saved our tribe!"

In the distance, Sun, the treasure hunter, had a grim face and clenched his fists tightly: "Damn it! That kid..."

Sun, the treasure hunter, hid behind the sand dunes and watched helplessly as Lin Yu was hailed as a hero by the tribe, his heart burning with jealousy.

"Damn it! The cooked duck flew away!" He spat angrily. "That kid ruined my plans!" He smiled sinisterly. "Trying to fight me? You're still too green!" He called over a few of his men, whispered a few instructions, and they understood and secretly sneaked into the tribe.

In the dead of night, several figures disguised as tribal members stealthily approached Lin Yu's tent.

"The boss said, take this kid down!" the leader said in a low voice.

They slowly approached the tent, about to make their move, when suddenly the ground collapsed, and the group fell into a deep pit.

"What's going on?!" the leader shouted in terror.

"Trapped like a turtle in a jar, understand?" Lin Yu's voice came from above, tinged with a hint of mockery.

He stood with his arms crossed, surrounded by blue light, which was the elemental power he controlled.

The sand around the pit kept shifting, burying them deeper and deeper.

"What the hell is this?!"

Sun, the treasure hunter, saw this scene from afar and stomped his feet in anger.

“Useless! A bunch of useless trash!” he roared angrily.

At this moment, Aisha brought food and water to Lin Yu.

"You're amazing!" She looked at Lin Yu with admiration, her eyes filled with love.

"Just a little trick," Lin Yu said with a modest smile.

Aisha's cheeks flushed slightly as she handed him the food, saying, "You must be hungry."

Lin Yu resolved the immediate trouble, but still found no clues about the ruins.

"Where exactly are these ruins?" He gazed at the vast desert, lost in thought.

Just then, an old voice came: "Young man, what are you looking for?" Lin Yu turned around and saw an old man riding a camel slowly walking towards him.

"Old man, do you know what ruins are in this desert?" Lin Yu asked.

The old camel driver squinted, sizing up Lin Yu. "Young man, the secrets of the desert aren't things you can just pry into." He paused, then added, "Unless..."
