"This...how is this possible..." he muttered to himself, his legs beginning to tremble uncontrollably.

"Now, do you still think I got lucky?" Lin Yu's voice rang out again, his tone still calm, but it exploded in Zhao Meng's ears like a thunderclap.

A mix of shame, anger, fear, and resentment caused Zhao Meng to lose his temper.

He roared and poured all his spiritual power into his fists, charging towards Lin Yu.

"I will fight with you!"

"Overestimating yourself." Lin Yu sneered, calmly raising his left hand. Five-colored light surged from his palm once more, instantly forming a shield that shimmered with light.

Zhao Meng slammed his fist into the shield, producing a deafening roar.

However, the shield remained unmoved, instead reflecting Zhao Meng's attack back.

He flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground and spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Holy crap! Brother Yu is awesome!" Kong Yang shouted excitedly from the side, as if he had been injected with chicken blood.

He was worried that Lin Yu would suffer a loss, but he didn't expect Lin Yu to block Zhao Meng's attack so easily.

The surrounding air fluctuated violently due to the collision of elemental forces, leaving the onlookers dumbfounded.

Zhao Meng felt as if he had been granted a pardon and scrambled away from the training ground.

"Brother Yu, you're amazing!" Kong Yang rushed up excitedly and hugged Lin Yu tightly. "I knew you could win!"

Lin Yu smiled and patted Kong Yang on the shoulder.

He looked at Su Yao, whose expression had returned to normal, her eyes filled with admiration.

She walked up to Lin Yu and gently hugged him.

Lin Yu hugged her back, feeling her body temperature, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart.

"It's alright now," Lin Yu whispered in her ear.

Su Yao nodded gently, buried her head in Lin Yu's chest, and felt his heartbeat.

The crowd gradually dispersed, but their chatter still echoed in Lin Yu's ears.

"This kid is actually incredibly skilled!"

"Looks like I'll have to be more polite to him from now on..."

Master Liu looked at Lin Yu, a complex light flashing in his eyes.
