A bed that traverses countless worlds

Deep within the mine, shimmering spirit crystals emitted a faint blue light, illuminating Lin Yu's slightly pale face.

He leaned against the magical bed, his fingertips lightly touching the edge, feeling the slight vibrations.

Things seem to be more complicated than expected.

"What's going on?" Alice frowned slightly, a hint of unease flashing in her emerald green eyes.

The surrounding spirit crystals flickered erratically, like breathing, and a strange energy fluctuation permeated the air, making her feel a pang of fear.

"This isn't good..." Lin Yu muttered to himself, a sense of unease rising in his heart at this sudden change.

Almost simultaneously, leaders of other factions also noticed the unusual activity in the mine.

Greedy eyes darted back and forth between the shimmering spirit crystal and Lin Yu, as if they had caught a whiff of prey.

"Hey kid! Did you discover some secret passage and want to hoard the spirit crystals for yourself?" a burly man with a face full of scars shouted in a deep voice, his tone full of hostility.

“Exactly! Don’t think you can do whatever you want just because you’ve allied yourself with the elves!” another gaunt man shrieked, his eyes gleaming with greed.

Suddenly, the forces that had temporarily reconciled were at each other's throats again, and the atmosphere became tense.

They surrounded Lin Yu, Alice, and the others, like a pack of hungry wolves eyeing their prey, ready to pounce and tear them apart at any moment.

"Elder, what should we do?" Alice gripped her bow and arrow tightly, warily eyeing the menacing crowd around her.

The elven elder looked grave; he hadn't expected the situation to change so drastically.

They originally thought that cooperating with Lin Yu would bring them the greatest benefits, but now it seems that they have been drawn into an even bigger vortex.

Lin Yu felt immense pressure emanating from his surroundings, but he did not show the slightest sign of panic.

He took a deep breath,

"Don't panic, I have a plan..." Lin Yu's lips curled slightly upwards as his gaze swept over every corner of the mine. "It's just..." He paused, his gaze settling on an inconspicuous shadow deep within the mine, "...we need to take a gamble..."

A subtle smile played on Lin Yu's lips, and a sly glint flashed in his eyes, making him resemble a cunning strategy game player.

He knew all too well that these guys' greed had already reached the heavens, so instead of confronting them head-on, he should try a "deception" tactic.

"Alice, you elves, come with me!" Lin Yu said, his fingertips quickly tracing the edge of the bed, activating the system map, and a detailed structural diagram of the mine instantly appeared in his mind.

This was a backup plan he had secretly left behind during his previous exploration, and now it was coming in handy.

He directed the magical bed to slowly move towards an inconspicuous, shadowy corner on the left side of the mine.

There, hidden, is a narrow passage that can only be passed by one person at a time. The entrance is covered with a thin layer of rock, making it almost invisible unless you look closely.

"This..." Alice was a little confused, but she still chose to believe Lin Yu, since he was the only one who could lead them out of their predicament.

She gestured for the elven elders and several elite members to follow, and the group cautiously filed in.

Sure enough, as soon as Lin Yu and his group disappeared at the entrance of the passage, the once noisy mine instantly erupted into chaos.

"Where is he? How did he suddenly disappear?"

"Damn it, did this kid trick me?!"

The leaders of all factions were completely dumbfounded (the word "dumbfounded" is an internet slang term that can be understood as being at a loss or bewildered). They ran around the mine like headless flies, but could not find any trace of Lin Yu and the others.

They roared and howled, but it was all in vain, as if their confrontation had just been a farce.

However, just as they were going crazy trying to find the person, Lin Yu and his group were not having a smooth journey.

At the end of the narrow passage, a gigantic rock monster suddenly appeared. Its body was covered with hard rock armor, its eye sockets flashed red, and it let out a deafening roar.

"Holy crap! There's a hidden boss in this mine?!" Lin Yu couldn't help but swear.

Without saying a word, the rock monster launched an attack on Lin Yu and his companions, swinging its massive arms and slamming them hard into the ground.

With a deafening roar, the entire passage shook violently, and rocks began to fall from above. A thick cloud of dust filled the air, making everyone feel suffocated.

Alice raised her bow and fired several magically imbued arrows, but they only left shallow marks on the monster's rocky shell.

"This monster's defense is ridiculously high!" Lin Yu thought quickly as he manipulated the Magical Bed to dodge attacks.

As the monster's attacks grew increasingly fierce and the space within the passage became smaller and smaller, the situation became extremely critical.

"Lin Yu, be careful!" Alice's voice was tinged with anxiety.

Lin Yu did not answer, but silently stared at the rock monster in front of him.

"Should we use that..." Inside the mine, the roar of the rock monster was deafening, and the entire passage trembled as if it would collapse at any moment.

Alice raised her bow and fired, the magical arrows transforming into beams of light that struck the monster's rocky shell, but only left a few shallow marks.

Lin Yu gripped the edge of the magical bed tightly, quickly devising a plan in his mind. His fingers moved rapidly, directing the bed to move nimbly and dodge the monster's attacks.

"Lin Yu, be careful!" Alice's voice was filled with anxiety. Her body swayed suddenly as she was hit by a stone fragment swung by the monster. A sharp pain shot through her back, and she almost fell to the ground.

Lin Yu caught this scene out of the corner of his eye, and a strong feeling of pity welled up in his heart.

He quickly shielded Alice behind him, blocking several flying rocks.

"Get out of my way!" Lin Yu's voice was firm and powerful, his eyes flashing with determination.

He steadfastly protected Alice, shielding her from all danger with his body. At that moment, Alice's heart was deeply moved.

"Lin Yu..." Alice murmured softly, her voice trembling slightly.

Lin Yu did not answer, but simply stared at the rock monster. Suddenly, he stopped attacking, took out a special spirit crystal from his pocket, and held it high.

The spirit crystal emitted a soft blue light in the dim mine, like a dazzling gemstone, instantly attracting the monster's attention.

The monster's roar abruptly ceased, and a strange light flashed in its red eyes. It stopped attacking, as if it were stunned by the spirit crystal.

"What...what's going on?!" The leaders of the other factions exclaimed in surprise, staring blankly at the scene, unable to believe their eyes.

A ripple of emotion stirred within Lin Yu. He knew that this was only a temporary measure to stabilize the guardians, but they were still in extreme danger.

The air around them seemed to freeze, and everyone's eyes were focused on Lin Yu, waiting for his next move.

He glanced at the still tense and vigilant elven elders and other leaders, his eyes revealing a hint of calm and determination.

"This game is far from over..." Lin Yu said softly, his voice echoing in the mine, foreshadowing the battle to come.

He held Alice tightly, his gaze resolute, ready to face new challenges.
