Wuji Tianzun immediately felt an overwhelming killing intent.

He knelt before the Heavenly Dao.

"Grandmaster, of course I'm afraid. But you understand the Creator better than anyone else; he's not so easy to deal with. A single Saint-Slaying Pill won't be enough to kill him. I can't just go and throw my life away, can I?"

The Heavenly Dao raised an eyebrow.

He countered with a question from the Supreme Celestial: "Then what method do you suggest we use?"

Wuji Tianzun said, "Reporting to Grandmaster, I do have a plan. I implore you to set up a barrier first to prevent others from overhearing it."

"The Purple Cloud Palace is my absolute territory. What is said here cannot be heard by anyone except me, including the Creator. Otherwise, I would not have ordered you to kill him!" The Heavenly Dao said recklessly.

"Grandmaster, why don't you use the strategy of 'luring the tiger to drive away the wolf'?"

After pondering for a moment, Heavenly Dao felt that what Wuji Heavenly Venerable said made sense.

"Then send one of the ancient gods from the primordial era. Investigate which of the primordial gods still alive are on good terms with Ling Yun."

Without a second thought, Wuji Tianzun blurted it out.

"Reporting to Grandmaster, among the ancient gods of the primordial world, only Ancestor Styx remains who was on good terms with Ancestor Lingyun. However, he is aloof and never steps out of his Netherworld Blood Sea. I'm afraid I can't persuade him to come."

"Oh? Judging from your tone, it seems you were prepared all along! Could it be that the old Creator deliberately sent you to test me?"

The Heavenly Dao then manipulated its Crimson Heaven Sword, hovering it above the head of the Limitless Heavenly Venerable.

"Since you can't persuade Ancestor Styx, then I'll go myself. Besides that, do you have any other plans, kid?"

Wuji Tianzun specifically reminded the Heavenly Dao, "Grandmaster, you may issue a decree to mobilize the three generations of disciples under my master's tutelage in the mortal realm. Lingyun, as the Ancestor of Humanity, draws her power from the human race."

Rather, I was spreading the message that the Human Ancestor Lingyun had fallen into the demonic path, and that the cities that were massacred in the mortal realm for the Creator were actually massacred for Lingyun."

In this way, Ling Yun would become the greatest demon in the eyes of the human race. As long as the human race no longer worships the Ancestor of Humanity, her cultivation level would naturally plummet.

After she leads a group of ancient gods to destroy the Creator, you can reap the benefits without lifting a finger—wouldn't that be the best of both worlds?

The Heavenly Dao praised the Limitless Heavenly Venerable without reservation, saying, "Excellent idea! You truly are a good grand-disciple. Now go and carry it out!"

Wuji Tianzun said with difficulty, "Grandmaster, this disciple cannot do this. The Creator is waiting for this disciple to return and explain the situation!"

"Then you should go back and keep the Creator company. I'll send Xuandu."

"Disciple retire!"

Wuji Tianzun slipped away hastily and left Zixiao Palace.

The Heavenly Dao then rushed to the Dao Ancestor's Tushita Palace.

"Master, why have you come in person?"

The Dao Ancestor was somewhat surprised.

"My disciple, there is something I would like to entrust to your disciple Xuandu!"

The Heavenly Dao directly stated its purpose and told the Dao Ancestor about the plan of the Limitless Heavenly Venerable.
