Qin looked at Su Congxian with tears in her eyes.

"Third brother, look how arrogant your wife has become! I'm her sister-in-law, and she just threw this rolling pin at me like that. My face is all swollen from being hit by her. What's going on during the New Year?!"

Lin was surprised that Qin would complain to her husbands, so she immediately stood in front of Su Congxian with her hands on her hips, pointed at Su Congxian's nose, and scolded him:

"What! I'll hit you with a rolling pin! What! What are you going to do about it with my man! He's my man, he can side with me, not you! If you're really upset, go find your man! Even if I hit you, you won't lose out, who told you to talk nonsense for no reason! If you're so tough, hit him back! Why are you always pretending to be weak?"

Seeing that things were escalating, Su Congxian quickly tugged at Lin's sleeve and whispered a word of advice:

"Honey, please don't be angry during the New Year. Can't we all be a good family? Why do you have to make things so tense? What am I supposed to do when we're all living in the same courtyard and seeing each other all the time?"

Lin shook off Su Congxian's arm.

"I told you long ago, living in the same courtyard after separating from the family is annoying, and we see each other all the time. It's hard not to argue. If you want me to have some peace and quiet, then separate from this family as soon as possible, and we can live separately! Otherwise, our lives would have turned out like this!"

Su Congxian, somewhat embarrassed, leaned close to Lin's ear and whispered:

Upon hearing that he wouldn't have to do any work, Su Qingsong immediately jumped up with joy, rushed forward, grabbed Lin's arm, and pulled her outside.
