Ye Jingchen had just stepped out of the Chinese restaurant's private room.

Inuyama Tsuki walked towards them, looking somewhat flustered.

Seeing her in such a hurry, Ye Jingchen asked, "Why do you seem so uneasy?"

Inuyama Tsuki leaned slightly forward towards Ye Jingchen, covered his mouth with his hand, and whispered, "Commissioner Ye, there's a very handsome older British man with long white hair. He's booked a small private room and specifically asked to see you alone. He says he has something important to discuss with you privately!"

"Could it be? Hehe, it's really hard to guess who it is!" Ye Jingchen thought to himself with delight. He turned to look at Inuyama Setsuko, "Take Erii and Genji to rest. I have an important friend I need to visit."

"Yes!" Inuyama Setsuko replied, turning to Erii and Minamoto no Wakana, raising her hand, "Please follow me!"

Inuyama Setsuko led the two to a private room.

"Take me there!" Ye Jingchen looked at Inuyama Tsuki.

"Hi!" Inuyama Tsuki raised his hand as if to lead the way, "Please follow us, Commissioner Ye!"

Inuyama Tsuki led Ye Jingchen to the door of a small private room with a wooden screen. She stopped and turned to look at Ye Jingchen. "Commissioner Ye, this is the room."

Ye Jingchen nodded. "Okay, I understand. You may leave now."

"Yes!" Inuyama Tsuki nodded, slowing her pace as she walked away, wondering to herself, "Who is that old man? From the Gattuso family? Or from Kassel College? Oh well, these are none of my business..."

Ye Jingchen raised his hand and gently knocked twice on the door of the private room.

A man's voice came from inside the door, speaking in Chinese:

"Please come in!"

In Japan, these small private rooms are usually surrounded by thin wooden boards or screens, and the entrance door is a sliding wooden door.

It has a unique classical and elegant charm, inheriting the refined atmosphere of officials, literati and poets sitting together and drinking wine during the Tang Dynasty.

Ye Jingchen opened the door, and what came into view was:

He was a dashing older man, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, a white long-sleeved shirt, a black vest, and drinking sake from a small sake cup, sitting cross-legged on a futon.

Ye Jingchen had imagined many scenarios of meeting him, such as him wielding twin swords and killing half-bloods, or him sitting in a helicopter smoking a cigar, or meeting him in a formal meeting like Schneider...

I never imagined we'd meet like this.

"Principal Angers," Ye Jingchen called out, looking at the wine glass in the old man's hand.

Angers turned to look at Ye Jingchen and smiled, "Ye Jingchen, come and sit down!" As he spoke, Angers pointed to the futon in front of him.

Ye Jingchen closed the wooden door, walked to the futon in front of Angers, sat down cross-legged, placed his hands on his knees, and quietly looked at Angers.

Angers picked up the small bottle and poured Ye Jingchen a glass of wine. "Here, have a drink first."

Ye Jingchen picked up his wine glass, glanced at Angers, drank it all in one gulp, and put the glass down.

The two locked eyes and gazed into each other's eyes.

Three minutes passed.

Angers chuckled, picked up his glass, and took a sip of sake. "You're just like me when I was young, always adhering to your own principles and not allowing any interference."

"Principal, aren't you still the same now?" Ye Jingchen looked directly into Ang Re's eyes.

“Yes, I still am.” Angers took off his gold-rimmed glasses and placed them on the small table in front of him. He looked into Ye Jingchen’s eyes. “When we meet, we should actually have a lot to say to each other.”

Ye Jingchen nodded, picked up the small sake bottle on the table, filled Angers' cup with sake, and then filled his own cup. "What I know, the principal knows most of as well."

Angers finished the wine Ye Jingchen poured in one gulp, raised his right hand and wiped the wine from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand, "Tell me what I don't know."

“Herzog wants to become the White King,” Ye Jingchen said, holding his wine glass and looking at Angers.

Angers frowned immediately and shook his head slightly. "Simply increasing the purity of dragon blood is useless. That would only turn them into mindless, brutal, and bloodthirsty death servants, which is meaningless."

Although the white-blooded hybrids of the three major families in Japan are able to break through the bloodline threshold without becoming dead servants, they are ultimately far from being true dragons.

Even that dragon-like creature with bat ears that you executed last time was nothing more than a dead servant with a dragon's body but no real power.

You have never seen a real dragon, or even a Dragon King.

But I've seen it.

"Find the sacred remains of the legendary Snake Clan, and then find the inheritor of the White King's blood."

The sacred remains entered the body of the White King's bloodline inheritor and merged.

The sacred remains will then release all authority, and the body of the White King's blood successor will form a cocoon, wrapped in white silk threads, like silkworm silk.

The body of the White King's bloodline inheritor within the cocoon will transform into a dragon's body, and if all goes well, the White King will be resurrected.

During this period, if the White Queen were to be resurrected, even in her newborn form, no one would be a match for her, not even Odin.

Moreover, Odin might not necessarily be an enemy of the White King.

With the supreme ruler of the black throne gone, the white throne becomes the ultimate throne of the world, unshakeable by anyone.

Of course, this is based on the premise that everything goes smoothly.

As Ye Jingchen spoke, he felt his mouth was a little dry, so he paused and took a sip of sake.

Angers picked up the gold-rimmed glasses from the table, put them on, and then tilted the rims up, staring at Ye Jingchen. "What if things don't go smoothly? And what kind of difficulties?"

Ye Jingchen placed his wine glass on the table, stared into Angers' eyes, and said clearly, enunciating each word: "Stealing white power!"

Upon hearing this, Angers frowned in confusion. "Steal?"

Ye Jingchen slammed his hand on the table. “During the process of cocooning, the inheritor of the White King’s blood will produce toxins in their body, but this is nothing to the White King.”

However, if the body of the White King's bloodline inheritor is not fully transformed into a dragon during the cocooning process.

Someone exchanged their own blood with the blood of the White King's heir—no, at this point it should be called the White King's blood!

Once this great blood exchange ritual is completed, the thief will gain all of the White King's authority and memories, while retaining their own individual consciousness!

Become the new White King!

Angers paused, looking at his wine glass. Compared to the dragons, he seemed more concerned about humans. "So, what will be the fate of the heir to the White King's bloodline?"

Ye Jingchen thought Angers would be interested in becoming the Dragon King, but he didn't expect Angers to ask this question. He pondered for a moment, "In that body, there are two consciousnesses, one is the White King, and the other is the White King's bloodline inheritor himself."

But none of that matters anymore. Having lost power, there's nothing left to rely on to resist the toxins produced during the cocooning process within the body.

Both consciousnesses will die within the same body.

"It really is a tragedy..." Hearing Ye Jingchen's words, a trace of melancholy flashed in Angers' eyes, as if he had recalled some sad memories. He hadn't felt like this in a long time.

Angers raised his glass to his lips and looked at Ye Jingchen. "So, do you want to become a dragon?"
