Room No. 301.

Ye Jingchen pretended to hold the blue plastic folder, but didn't look at it carefully; he didn't care about these cold, hard data.

After entering room 301, Ye Jingchen tossed the blue plastic folder onto the desk against the wall.

He casually picked up the clothes from the oak clothes rack, went into the bathroom, got dressed, and began to wash up.

The faucet was making a loud, rumbling sound.

Erii, who was lying on the bed, opened her red eyes happily after hearing the sounds from the bathroom. She propped herself up with her left hand and rubbed her eyes with her right hand.

After washing up, Ye Jingchen came out of the bathroom, looked at Erii, who was still sleepy on the bed, and smiled, "Erii is awake?"

Erii nodded to Ye Jingchen, then moved her two slender, snow-white legs out of the quilt and stood barefoot on the ground.

Without any warning, she reached out and untied the sash of her bathrobe, which slid off Erii's body like a light, silky veil onto the bluewood floor.

It wasn't that Erii hadn't remembered Ye Jingchen's words; she was more like a child throwing a tantrum because Ye Jingchen hadn't answered her question directly yesterday.

A rebellious girl.

Is she venting her frustrations in this way? Reasoning with children is often less effective than giving them rewards; a sweet candy is more useful than talking until you're hoarse.

Before meeting Ye Jingchen, the most rebellious thing Erii had ever done was run away from home and escape from Genji Heavy Industries.

This was the first time she had rebelled against Ye Jingchen. Erii secretly and peeked at Ye Jingchen, trying to observe his expression.

When Ye Jingchen saw Erii's pale body, he turned his head away, walked to the sofa, sat down, crossed his legs, and opened the blue plastic folder he had just tossed onto his desk. He assumed Erii was still a little groggy from waking up and had forgotten his advice from the night before.

Erii, naked, walked past Ye Jingchen, went to the oak clothes rack, and picked up the shrine maiden-style kimono.

She dressed very slowly, actually only carrying a thin piece of cloth, which she draped over herself, crossed over her body, and tied with a belt around her waist. Erii usually didn't dress this slowly.

She seemed absent-minded as she faced Ye Jingchen and looked at him.

Her two little hands seemed to have lost their command, and she couldn't tie the belt around her waist no matter what she did.

Erii slapped the oak clothes hanger in frustration.

It made a "clang" sound.

Upon hearing the sound, Ye Jingchen looked up at Erii, whose face was somewhat displeased. She looked like an angry little yandere, something Erii wouldn't normally do.

It's often difficult to communicate kindly with those closest to us. Subconsciously, we assume that the other person will unconditionally forgive us, even if we've made a huge mistake, regardless of whether it involves heated arguments or throwing things.

Ye Jingchen put down the blue plastic folder, stood up from the sofa, and quietly walked to Erii.

He reached out and grabbed the sash in Erii's hand, then gently tugged at it.

Erii didn't let go, gripping the sash tightly.

Ye Jingchen gently patted Erii's hand, blew a breath towards Erii's forehead to blow away the red strands of hair on her forehead, and smiled at Erii.

Erii then loosened her belt. She pursed her lips, her hands hanging down with her fists clenched tightly, and looked down at Ye Jingchen's hands.

Ye Jingchen took the waist belt from Erii's hand, tightened it slightly, and tied it.

Then he took a white winter hat from the oak coat rack and put it on Erii's head, patting her head.

He pulled Erii into his arms and held her tightly.

Erii was not expected that Ye Jingchen would suddenly hug her. Her pupils contracted sharply, and Ye Jingchen's hug made it hard for her to breathe.

She reached out and pushed against Ye Jingchen's chest, patting him as she struggled.

Ye Jingchen relaxed his arms a little, looked down at Erii, and cupped her face in his right hand, "Are you still angry?"

Erii looked into Ye Jingchen's eyes, biting her lip tightly, unsure of what to do next.

Ye Jingchen kissed Erii's forehead and gently patted her back. "You're my girl, don't worry, understand?"

Erii's eyes reddened slightly. She didn't know why, but after hearing Ye Jingchen's words, she felt inexplicably at ease. She nodded gently and rested her head in Ye Jingchen's arms.

Seeing Erii nestled in his arms, Ye Jingchen didn't push her away. He gently patted Erii's back with his left hand to comfort her.

Time in room 301 flowed by quietly and slowly, like a small river.

Until a "knock knock knock" sound came from the door?

Upon hearing the knock on the door, Erii, like a wealthy heiress who had done something wrong, instinctively wanted to slip away.

Ye Jingchen held her hand tightly, preventing her from escaping, and led Erii to the door. He opened the door and asked, "Who is it?"

The door opens.

Inuyama Tsuki looked at Ye Jingchen with a fawning smile, "Commissioner Ye, I've come to call you..."

Inuyama Tsuki saw Erii beside Ye Jingchen, whose hand was tightly holding Erii's. A gossipy mind raced through Inuyama Tsuki's head.

"Huh? Commissioner Ye and Miss Ye!!!"

"Does the Yuan family head know?"

"Could he be the future son-in-law of the Snake Clan?"

"This is Kassel College's true purpose?!?"

"So sweet! The domineering CEO and the rich heiress trope!!! If only the head of the Yuan family could be with me...^v^."

Gossip, conspiracy theories, and shipping theories flashed through Inuyama Tsuki's mind, and she quickly changed her words: "I've come to call you and the young lady down for lunch."

"I see, I understand." Ye Jingchen nodded, pulled Erii out of room 301, and looked at Inuyama Tsuki, "Lead the way!"

Inuyama Tsuki raised his hand and bowed, saying, "Please!" Then he walked ahead to lead the way.

Inuyama Tsuki led Ye Jingchen and Erii to a medium-sized private room, a room for eight people.

Inuyama Tsuki pushed open the door.

Ye Jingchen pulled Erii inside.

The room has a large round table for eight people, with a round glass rotating dish on the tabletop. You can easily rotate the dish you want to eat by gently moving the glass dish.

Unlike the luxurious private rooms, which exude an atmosphere of strictness.

There were three people sitting in the room and one person standing.

Genichiro Ryoma and Shio Miyamoto, the two heads of the family, sat side by side.

Genji sat opposite them, her hands resting on her knees.

Between the two stood Inuyama Setsuko.

She rested her hands on the back of the mahogany chair, tightly clamping her limp legs together, staring at Ye Jingchen with a hint of resentment...
