Silent all night.

At 5 a.m., the madwoman Hayakawako leaned against the wall and left, completely satisfied.

Nine in the morning.

Inuyama Setsuko, today, parted her high ponytail, typical of a kendo girl, into twin ponytails, wore a small white scarf, a blue sailor uniform skirt, and white stockings that went past her knees.

She took the room key and went to Ye Jingchen's door, then gently knocked. "Ye Sang, are you awake?"

Boom boom boom!

"Ye Sang?"

"Ye Sang, are you alright? I'm coming in!"

Inuyama Setsuko inserted the room card, pushed open the door, and was immediately greeted by a scent of roses mixed with the smell of hormones and sweat.

She quietly closed the door, entered the room, and looked at Ye Jingchen, who was sleeping in a very seductive posture, with his left foot on the bedside table, his head resting on his right arm, and his mouth open.

The bed was a mess, with torn sheets.

The quilt was torn in two.

The wet pillow was thrown on the floor.

Shizuko couldn't fathom what had happened in this room. She walked to Ye Jingchen's bedside, squatted down, and nudged him, "Ye-san, Ye-san, it's time to get up and eat. Today is your victory celebration."

Ye Jingchen rubbed his eyes, wiped his face, glanced at Shijinzi, and then rubbed his eyes again as if nothing had happened.

Suddenly realizing something was wrong, Ye Jingchen turned his head and looked again, forcefully closing his eyes. When he opened them again and confirmed it was Shizuko, he asked with slight surprise, "How did you get in?"

As he spoke, Ye Jingchen pulled half of the blanket over to cover himself.

Seeing that Ye Jingchen seemed a little embarrassed, Shizuko stood up, turned around with her hands behind her back, and said, "I knocked on the door just now and called you several times, but you didn't respond. I thought something had happened, so I came in."

Ye Jingchen shook his head. "Okay, I got it. Go get my cigarettes and clothes."

“Oh,” Sezuko walked to the table, picked up the cigarette case and lighter, squatted down and grabbed the trousers from the floor, walked back and handed them to Ye Jingchen, “Here you go.”

Ye Jingchen took the cigarette case first, pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and started smoking.

He put on his clothes with a cigarette dangling from his lips and a smooth, effortless motion.

I then went into the restroom and quickly washed up.

"I'm done washing up. Let's go, lead the way." Ye Jingchen straightened his collar and walked out of the bathroom.

“Okay.” Sezuko walked over with her hands behind her back.

Ye Jingchen noticed Shizuko's twin tails and tentatively asked, "May I touch your twin tails?"

“Sure,” Sezuko said, smoothing her twin ponytails. “But pull gently, don’t damage my hair.”

"Don't worry about that," Ye Jingchen said, holding the pigtails and gently tugging at them a couple of times. "You have a lot of hair, and the quality is good too."

As he spoke, Ye Jingchen loosened his pigtails.

Sezuko checked her hair; it wasn't messy. She walked out of the room and led the way. "Of course, I use cherry blossom water to care for my hair every day."

Ye Jingchen followed him out, saying, "It's probably more because they're mixed-race. I've seen quite a few mixed-race people who are very good-looking."

Sezuko crossed her arms. "But in yesterday's battle footage, I didn't see you, Ye Sang, showing much tenderness towards those mixed-race beauties from the Demon Clan!"

“Work is work, and life is life. They shouldn’t be mixed up,” Ye Jingchen said, his hands in his pockets. “The way you’re dressed today makes you look like a cheerleader captain cheering on the sailors on a ship.”

"Is Ye Sang always so unreliable?" Shizuko frowned slightly. "By the way, von Schneider, the head of the executive department of Kassel College, has already picked up Tamamo-no-Mae from the airport. He's been waiting for you in the reception room on the first floor for more than half an hour, hasn't he?"

"Huh? He's here so early?" Ye Jingchen's eyes widened. "Why didn't you come to wake me up earlier?"

Seeing Ye Jingchen's unusually tense expression, Shizuko happily covered her mouth and laughed, "What's wrong? Are you afraid he'll blame you if you wait for half an hour?"

"What are you afraid of!" Ye Jingchen patted Shijinzi on the back. "Hurry up, that old man brought me money!"

Upon hearing this, Shizuko's lips twitched, and she quickened her pace at Ye Jingchen's urging.

She glanced sideways at Ye Jingchen's profile, inwardly shocked, "Have you always been this brave? That's the Minister of the Executive Department in Kassel! What a high-ranking official!"

Ye Jingchen pushed Shijinzi along the way, and in no time they arrived at the first floor.

Miss Sezuko nudged Ye Jingchen's chest. "Alright, we'll be there soon. Don't rush around like that; it won't look good if someone sees you like that."

As she spoke, Miss Sezuko tidied her appearance.

Ye Jingchen didn't pay much attention to that and strode towards the reception room.

Setsuko reached out her hand, "Hey, wait for me!"

Upon arriving at the reception room, Ye Jingchen pushed the door open and entered.

An elderly man with long white hair, wearing a breathing mask, and with cold eyes sat upright, examining documents and reports in a file folder, engaging in a casual discussion with Tachibana Masamune. He was von Schneider, the head of the executive department of Kassel College and one of the survivors of the Greenland Forest Disaster.

(Word of Power - Winter. Bloodline Origin: Unknown. Serial Number: 45. Can greatly reduce the user's physical functions, slow blood flow and metabolism, allowing them to survive in extreme environments.)

Sitting next to Schneider, Tachibana Masamune nodded repeatedly as he answered his superior's questions.

"Bang!" came the sound of the door being pushed open.

Schneider and Tachibana Masamune both turned their gazes toward Ye Jingchen, who was standing at the door.

Miss Shizuko did not expect Ye Jingchen to suddenly stop at the door and bumped into his back.

Ye Jingchen casually pulled Miss Shizuko steady and walked into the house.

"Mentor, mentor! It's been so long! I've missed you terribly!" Ye Jingchen strode up to Schneider in two quick steps, grinning as he pinched his left thumb and forefinger together in the international money sign.

Von Schneider was a rather meticulous person, and he had always been rather indifferent to interpersonal relationships and emotional stimuli. He did not expect Ye Jingchen to be so enthusiastic on their first meeting.

A complex look flashed in Schneider's eyes as he thought to himself, "Just as Angers said, he's a very good actor."

"This is a bank card that Principal Angers asked me to bring to you. There are 200 million US dollars in it," Schneider said without any beating around the bush, directly taking out the bank card from his pocket and handing it to Ye Jingchen.

"Thank you," Ye Jingchen said swiftly, pocketing the bank card. "Professor, if there's nothing else, I'll head out now so as not to disturb your meeting."

"You're excellent. You managed to kill this third-generation Death Servant with almost zero casualties," Schneider said, offering a sincere compliment to Ye Jingchen. "Would you like to come back to the academy with me while you're at it?"

"Mentor, thank you for the compliment!" Ye Jingchen nodded, silently saying in his mind, "Open the attribute panel!"

"I need to complete another daily quest to improve my bloodline before I can finish the side quest and get the reward. After leaving Japan, which is full of demons, I'm afraid there won't be another paradise where it's so easy to improve one's bloodline. I can't just keep slaughtering everyone in Kassel College, can I?" Ye Jingchen thought to himself, then smiled at Schneider. "Thank you for your kindness, mentor. However, I haven't submitted a complete report on my trip to Japan yet. It will probably take another two or three days. I will return to Kassel College on time after everything is finished!"

"Well, you decide for yourself!" Schneider knew, of course, that Ye Jingchen was a complete fabrication and had no mission in Japan at all. He didn't expose Ye Jingchen and simply nodded.

He turned to Tachibana Masamune and asked, "How are the preparations for the handover of the imperial body going?"

Tachibana Masamune: "All preparations are complete, and we are ready to go at any time."

Schneider: "Begin the handover!"

Tachibana Masamune, "Hi!"
