Su Qing looked up at the fireworks with delight, but Chen Yu quietly took her hand. Su Qing was startled and tried to pull away, but Chen Yu held her tightly.

"Su Qing, actually, I liked you from the first moment I saw you. After spending this day together, that feeling has only grown stronger. I don't know what the future holds, but right now I want you to know how I feel." Chen Yu looked at her sincerely.

Su Qing's heart pounded; she hadn't expected Chen Yu to be so direct. After a moment of silence, she slowly said, "I'm really happy today. You're a very good person, but this is too sudden. I need time to think about it."
