Asgard.

"Woooooooo..."

Inside the main city, a grand ceremony for the God King was being held as horns sounded.

Inside Miracle Square, atop giant stone pillars hundreds of meters high, burns an eternal, inextinguishable sacred flame.

It radiated a warm and peaceful light, illuminating the entire square.

The gods of Asgard, dressed in their finest attire, took their seats on either side of the temple.

Amidst a melodious and grand divine music, Lin Qiye, clad in royal robes and with strong and powerful strides, gazed at the magnificent temple ahead and slowly walked towards it.

Fortunately, Lin Qiye had learned Asgardian etiquette from Bragi over the past two weeks.

No mistakes were made in the grand gathering of all the gods.

Lin Qiye slowly walked towards the temple, with the gods on both sides watching his every move.

They all knew that the person in front of them was not the 'Myriad Manifestations Celestial Venerable' who had frightened away the gods of Heaven, but a human from the Great Xia Dynasty.

But none of them dared to step forward and question it. Before the God King Ceremony, the Heavenly Queen conveyed the decree of the 'Myriad Manifestations Heavenly Venerable' to all the gods.

To be honest, they would rather recognize a ridiculously powerful 'Myriad Manifestations Celestial Venerable' as their king than acknowledge a human from the Great Xia Dynasty as their king.

But faced with absolute power, they have no right to speak.

Currently, all the gods of Asgard, except for the Queen of the Sky and the remaining two Fates, have their souls controlled by the 'All-Seeing God'.

To put it bluntly, they are slaves who have no control over their own lives.

Amidst the sighs of the gods, Lin Qiye ascended the temple steps, step by step reaching the magnificent golden temple.

At the temple entrance, Queen Frigg bowed respectfully to Lin Qiye and slowly handed him the God King's Scepter.

"May you protect the glory of Asgard."

Lin Qiye nodded slightly to Frigga, who then stepped aside.

Lin Qiye entered the temple and walked step by step to the throne.

He looked at the golden throne, hesitated for a moment, then grabbed the floor-length purple-gold royal robe with his right hand, turned around and flung it away.

With a whoosh, Lin Qiye sat on the throne, gazing at the gods of Asgard below.

“Wow, brother, it really is just like what I saw,” His Highness Skadi exclaimed in delight.

Verdandi quickly covered Skadi's mouth and shook her head at her, "Greetings."

"Oh!"

Verdandi and Skadi knelt on one knee, their right fists clenched, "Greetings, Your Majesty the God-King!"

The Queen of Asgard, along with the Asgardian gods in the Miracle Square, roared in unison.

"Greetings, Your Highness the God-King!"

"Greetings, Your Highness the God-King!"

"..."

……

On the pebble path leading to the eternal secret garden.

Bragi, carrying a harp and holding a bouquet of flowers, hummed a melodious poem as he headed towards the secret garden.

"Poetry is like vines entwining the roots of time,"

Youth flows from the lines on your palm.

The clamor in Valhalla subsided into silence.

Only your name is my final rhyme…

Bragi walked briskly on the cobblestone path, a bright smile on his face.

He bent down and picked up a pebble from the ground, muttering to himself.

“My dear Eden, do you remember? These pebbles on the road are ones we picked up together in the Holy River.”

“You always mention this path in your letters, and you even laugh at how when Verdandi comes to borrow flower seeds from you, she tries to stomp on them, but leaves no trace, which is embarrassing.”

Bragi's expression grew complicated as he walked away, muttering to himself, "Dear Eden, I know that wasn't your reply."

"It was a kind lie told by Dean Lin Qiye, who had always taken care of me. I don't hold a grudge against him; on the contrary, I am very grateful to him."

"He made me feel your presence again. I feel very lucky, and I hope this luck can be passed on to you."

Bragi gazed at the path leading to the "Eternal Secret Garden," his steps gradually slowing, and the smile on his face slowly fading.

Memories of the past are also revived at this moment.

His beloved Eden no longer exists.

A century ago, in that fog, Saul borrowed all of Eden's fruits of life.

Eden could not withstand the encroachment of the mist...

The painful memories of the past made Bragi stop in his tracks, and he stood quietly on the winding path.

Tears streamed down her face.

He couldn't accept Eden's death, but it was all just self-deception.

“My dearest Eden, I am willing to dedicate the rest of my life to protecting our secret garden.”

Bragi took another step towards the [Eternal Secret Garden].

This time, his steps were no longer light and quick, but rather somewhat heavy.

His eyes were full of sadness, like a continuous drizzle, making people feel melancholy and sorrowful.

Suddenly, a floral fragrance wafted into Bragi's nostrils, causing him to look up.

Before he knew it, he had arrived at the entrance to the eternal secret garden.

Bragi looked puzzled. The secret garden hadn't been managed for a hundred years, so how could there still be flowers blooming?

And this brand-new fence doesn't look like something that's been around for a hundred years.

Is it...

Bragi's pupils contracted sharply, and he immediately pushed open the ivy-covered wooden door.

In an instant, he seemed to be swept into another time and space, and his gaze fell upon everything around him.

The winding cobblestone path is flanked by fields of colorful flowers.

Red as a rose in full bloom, its petals layered upon layered, its fragrance filling the air...

Seeing this amazing scene, Bragi was stunned for a moment, then his legs started to run involuntarily.

I ran along the cobblestone path deeper into the garden.

Gradually, a small house covered in roses came into view; it was the house he and Eden had built together.

The swing hanging from the branches by vines is where they would lean together every evening, watching the sunlight disappear in the west.

Without any hesitation, Bragi walked to the door, pushed open the creaking wooden door, and a faint floral fragrance wafted out.

“Eden…”

But Eden was not in the cabin, and Bragi's excitement slowly turned into disappointment.

"My dearest Bragi, this eternal secret garden is my reply today!"

Suddenly, a soft, beautiful voice came from behind him, which startled Bragi.

He turned around abruptly, and in his field of vision, a beautiful woman in a simple white dress smiled elegantly at him.

“Eden! You…”

While Bragi was too excited to speak, Iden stepped forward and said, "Do you still remember the poem you wrote for me in your letter?"

"You haven't given me an ending yet. Tell me today, okay?"

Bragi paused for a moment, then reached out and touched Eden's face, nodding heavily.

The two sat on the swing, Eden leaning on Bragi's shoulder.

Bragi, holding a harp, hummed softly.

"The flames of war slumber within the sword sheath."

I confront fate with the rhetoric of silence.

When the gods savor the honeydew you offer...

My poems have long since taken root in the apple core.
