Sweet daily life of Little Tanuki and Qin Che in Love and Deep Space

Chapter 599 Flying Feathers Towards the Night 01

After finally getting off work, I thought I should go back to the Dark Point to find Qin Che.

Otherwise, I won't see him for another seven days, and I'll definitely miss him terribly.

As for the luggage you need to pack for your business trip, Qin Che secretly bought you a ton of clothes.

Just pack a few things.

"Tao Tao, it's snowing quite heavily. I drove today, do you want me to give you a ride?" You slung your small bag over your shoulder and left the association building with Tao Tao.

"No need, no need, it's not on my way. I've already called a car. We have to meet early tomorrow morning, so you should go back and pack your bags." Tao Tao waved her hands repeatedly. As soon as she stepped out of the association building, she saw a taxi waiting outside. "My car is here. Be careful on your way back."

"Okay, I got it, bye~~" You waved to Tao Tao, tightened the scarf around your neck, and walked towards the parking lot.

Just as I reached the car and before I even opened the door, I caught a glimpse of a white figure crouching next to the tires out of the corner of my eye.

what is this?

Upon closer inspection, you realize it's a frozen little white dove.

It lowered its head and buried its beak in the feathers on its chest.

Its tightly closed eyes remained unblinking, and its body twitched occasionally, indicating that it was still alive.

You turn your head and look around, wondering where this little guy flew in from.

Luckily, we spotted it in time. Otherwise, if the car had driven off and it was still there, it's hard to say whether it would have run over it.

Not knowing if it was sick or injured, you decided to take it with you anyway.

You went around to the back of the car and rummaged through the trunk.

If I remember correctly, Qin Che prepared spare shoes for you when we went to the party last time.

That shoebox is just the right size to hold this little guy.

After taking the shoes out of the box, you put a fleece blanket inside.

Then he went back, caught the little guy, and put him in the box.

Perhaps it was truly frozen stiff, for when you held its wings and picked it up, it only opened its eyes slightly before closing them again.

There was not even the slightest desire to struggle.

"This... you're not feeling well... never mind, I'll take you to the vet."

You placed the box in the passenger seat and then drove to your usual pet hospital.

The pet hospital is open 24 hours a day, and the vet on duty today happens to be the same one who always vaccinates Little Orange and the others. After examining them, the vet said, "Don't worry, you took the right steps and brought them in promptly, so they didn't suffer from hypothermia. They're mostly fine now. As for the wing injury, with daily dressing changes this week, it should heal quickly."

You nodded and took the cardboard box from the veterinarian.

The doctor glanced outside the shop and couldn't help but remind him, "It's so late, and it's snowing. Please be careful on your way home."

"Okay, I'll be careful. No need to see me off, you can go back now." You held the cardboard box and pushed open the glass door of the hospital.

Once in the car, you put the cardboard box back on the passenger seat and secured it with your seatbelt.

Just then, a small white head peeked out from under the blanket.

"It seems a bit more energetic than before. Let's go, let's go home with your sister." You poked its little head and started the car.

"Sigh, I'm going out of town tomorrow to participate in disaster relief work for homeless people, so the responsibility of taking care of you will have to be entrusted to my dear husband..."
