"Mmm-hmm." Tao Tao nodded in agreement.

You peered towards the kitchen, but could only catch a glimpse of a shadow flashing by.

Qin Che probably wanted you to chat more, so he avoided you.

You understood his good intentions in arranging this, so you pulled the two people next to you and lay down sprawled out on the thick wool blanket.

"That's for dinner now. Let's lie down for a while and enjoy afternoon tea under the maple tree. That's the important thing."

"That makes sense." Tao Tao placed the red tea she had just taken a couple of sips of on the low table and lay down beside you.

"Such a pleasant day is too rare," Liu Yi sighed. "You don't know, I wanted to go on a picnic before, but when I got there, there were so many people that there wasn't even room to put my feet down, let alone have a picnic."

"Oh dear! What a coincidence! I fell for that trick once before, so my boss, Mr. Qin, just planted the tree in my yard."

"Haha, then we've benefited from your success." Tao Tao turned her head towards you.

Suddenly, she felt something warm and furry squeeze between her and your bodies.

She was startled, and after a two-second pause, she realized it was an extremely fat orange cat.

"Oh, you finally acknowledge me now. I looked all over for you this morning but couldn't find you."

You also immediately noticed the fluffy object that was trying to step on your stomach.

"Wow! This is even more visually appealing than the photos, they're so plump and juicy!" Liu Yi exclaimed.

The three of them sat up and began to pet Little Orange, indulging in a cat-petting extravaganza.

"Didn't they say there were three? Are there two more? Are they just as fat?"

"Yeah, it's so fat too, but it's the oldest and most clingy. The other two are its babies. They play by themselves more often and usually only appear during mealtimes," you said, scratching Little Orange's chin.

The little orange squinted its eyes, curled up into a ball, and made a gurgling sound comfortably.

The three of you and the cat spent the afternoon taking photos and chatting under the maple tree, and the afternoon flew by.

Qin Che also appeared a few times during this time, serving you tea and bringing out a lot of snacks.

The next time it appears will be for dinner barbecue time.

The two of you who were originally planning to help you out couldn't bear to be third wheels, seeing how well you worked together.

So the situation became that you and Qin Che happily grilled, while the other two just ate and praised what they had to do.

Occasionally, when you're staring intently at Qin Che grilling meat, you can hear the two of them covering their mouths and chuckling.

"If I didn't mishear, are you making fun of me again?!" You hold out freshly grilled crab legs to the two of them.

"No, no, how could I dare?" Liu Yi replied absentmindedly while continuing to chuckle.

"This is delicious! Your family member's cooking skills are top-notch! You should try one yourself, don't just give it to us. You two have been busy all this time, have some for yourselves too." Tao Tao kept talking and reminded them.

"Mmm." You said as you returned to Qin Che's side, who was still struggling in front of the grill.

"Open your mouth, this crab leg is really good. I didn't expect it to taste so good when grilled." You put the crab meat you had picked out to Qin Che's mouth.

Qin Che didn't stop, he opened his mouth and bit off the crab meat you brought.
