"Qin Che, you seem quite used to being the center of attention." You were carrying a large bag of chestnuts and several strings of candied hawthorns (without fruit) as you walked with Qin Che to the underground parking garage where you parked. "It was the same when we were on the grassland. So many people were surrounding you, but you didn't even blush or skip a beat."

"No heartbeat? Then are you even human...?"

"Hey, please don't deliberately misunderstand me!!!"

"Hmm...you were already mentally prepared..." Qin Che's voice contained a faint smile.

“That’s true, after all, you are my Qin Che, it’s hard not to attract attention…” You nodded in agreement, “Thinking about it carefully, you’ve seen a lot of big events, these little things really don’t seem to matter to you.”

"Hmm, you understand very well..." Qin Che pushed the fully loaded shopping cart with one hand and pinched your cheek with the other, showing great affection.

The trunk was packed with the supplies you bought, and as you sat in the car, you were still exclaiming, "This food is enough for us to eat at the villa for a long time."

"It doesn't necessarily have to be eaten all at once. We can save some for when we go on a road trip, and you can eat it on the road."

"It feels like you're determined to fatten me up by ten pounds this holiday," you said to Qin Che, pinching your cheek as you sat in the passenger seat.

"I wanted to make it up to you..."

You were taken aback for a moment, then immediately understood what he meant: "It seems you really are still bothered by the rye bread incident. Actually, you don't need to worry about it too much; it's a special memory."

Your eyes slowly lowered, and your thoughts seemed to drift back to that distant valley.

A warm hand lingers on your cheek; the familiar touch tells you that the person beside you is Qin Che, your dragon is still here, and you have returned.

Qin Che didn't interrupt you, but just waited silently. Perhaps it was because the car was too quiet, so quiet that you could clearly hear the two of you breathing and heartbeats.

You looked up and met those red eyes.

"Qin Che, when I'm immersed in memories of the past, do you feel a little sad?" You place your hand on the back of his hand. "Am I useless? I've been back for so many days, and I still haven't gotten over that story."

Slightly rough fingertips gently caressed your cheek: "I was just a little worried about you, but it's okay, we have plenty of time, you can take your time, don't force yourself."

He really is... you'll cry your eyes out!!!

"When I'm always thinking about Long Che, do you ever get jealous of your past self...?" Actually, you've wanted to ask this question for a long time, but you were afraid that if you asked it, Qin Che might really care. Whether or not you should continue thinking about Long Che would be a huge dilemma for you.

But the words have already been spoken, and it's too late to take them back.

"It's all me. Whichever face you choose to think of, you'll always be thinking of me. So why bother about these things?" Qin Che chuckled and pinched your nose, seemingly a little puzzled that you could ask such a question.

You grinned and smiled at him, your eyes crinkling: "You're right, I misunderstood, or my Che baby is just too perceptive."

"Let's go then. Those three cats will be very happy to see you." Qin Che bent down to fasten your seatbelt, and didn't forget to leave a light kiss on your lips.

"Okay! Let's go!!!"
