"What's wrong? Did you have a three-hundred-round battle with me in your dream?"

"Qin Che!!!"

A burst of laughter came from the other end of the phone: "How are you feeling? Much better, aren't you?"

"Um......"

It was indeed much better after being distracted by Qin Che's raunchy words.

Once that unfounded worry was relieved, your mood improved considerably.

"Everything is going very smoothly here, so there's no need to worry too much."

"Okay, you're not busy right now, are you?"

"Don't worry, no matter how busy I am, I still have time to talk to you." The previously noisy environment on Qin Che's end quieted down.

"Actually, I don't have anything to say, I just wanted to chat with you..." You pulled the blanket back onto the bed, and Little Orange followed suit and lay down beside you.

I was woken up by a nightmare, but I still have two hours before work, so we can chat a little longer.

Qin Che's leisurely tone carried a hint of teasing: "Hmm, let's chat... It seems the Hunter Association has been quite relaxed lately, which is why you have time to overthink things..."

"No, not really. I'm busy enough just preparing for the Hunter Exam. It's not just work-related lately," you said with a resentful tone while stroking Little Orange's head.

"Oh? You've become so much more colorful in just two days? Tell me, what have you been busy with?" He adopted a more enthusiastic tone, clearly now very interested in the topic.

"During a previous attack by homeless individuals, I happened to save Mr. Luo Jiameng, that philanthropist who's often in the news," you sighed, continuing with a hint of resentment. "To thank me, he graciously invited me to his birthday dinner several times. You know, these kinds of occasions aren't my forte. Sigh, I didn't really want to go, but he was so enthusiastic, it would have seemed ungrateful to keep refusing, so I agreed. Now, thinking back, I kind of regret it..."

"It sounds like a very rich social life."

"So, after all that I've said, do you understand what I mean?"

Qin Che's deep laughter seemed to penetrate the phone and reach your ears.

"Hmm? So it was the busy hunter who invited me to participate in your colorful social life, am I right?"

"That's right, so... does our busy boss Qin want to be my date and accompany me to this dinner party?" You gripped your phone tightly on the other end of the line, your palms even sweating slightly, after all, you weren't entirely sure if Qin Che was available.

"Of course." Qin Che chuckled softly when he heard you seem relieved on the other end of the phone. "The business here should be finished today, and we can return to Lingkong tomorrow."

"Really!!! That's great!!!" You excitedly hugged Little Orange and rolled around on the bed.

Little Orange stared blankly at the human who had suddenly gone mad, utterly bewildered.

"What time are you coming back? Can I pick you up from the airport?"

Qin Che chuckled softly on the other end: "You miss me that much."

"Mmm, I miss you so much!!! Qin Che! Qin Che! Qin Che! I really miss you!!!" You suddenly sat up in bed. Little Orange, fed up with your sudden outbursts, jumped out of your arms and onto the floor, quickly leaving the bedroom.

"I'm not sure when I'll be back yet. I'll let you know tonight."
