Sweet daily life of Little Tanuki and Qin Che in Love and Deep Space

"A kiwi? Qin Che, how can you be so cute? You even know about such an adorable creature." You cupped Qin Che's face in your hands, your eyes sparkling.

"Cute?"

"Yes, don't you think kiwis are especially cute? Come to think of it, they even look a bit like you. They're both nocturnal, their eyes are afraid of sunlight, and they're both incredibly loyal to their mates."

"Hmm, you know quite a lot." Qin Che tightened his grip on your waist, his eyes and brows filled with a smile.

"No, I just happen to know a little bit about it." You chuckled and pecked him on the lips again.

Qin Che was quite pleased with this and looked at you in a good mood: "Have you had lunch yet?"

"Yes, I ate at the venue. Have you eaten yet?"

"Hmm, this is what we just brought back, a game console?"

When you heard his question, you looked at the thing on the bed.

"Yes, this is the trial game I told you about before."

"Trial Game, it really is just a game."

Hearing this, you immediately became interested again: "Hmm, a holographic game. This is my first time playing one too. I specially applied for two receivers so we can play together. I've already read the instructions and looked up some information online. Shall we try it now?"

You climbed off Qin Che, picked up the two receivers, and handed one of them to Qin Che.

Qin Che took the receiver, which resembled glasses, and put it on his eyes.

"I've already connected to the internet. Come on, lie down here." You put your receiver over your eyes as well.

"Are you ready?" You tugged at Qin Che's hand beside you.

"Ah."

A flash of white light, and you've entered the game world.

What comes into view is a quaint European-style town.

You looked down at your hands and felt a strange sensation.

It's exactly the same as in the real world, this is what a holographic game is like, awesome!

Just then, a carriage stopped in front of you. You walked closer and looked at it, only to see five words written on it: "The Legend of Skager".

It turns out to be an adventure game previously released by PlanetLab; I think I received a push notification marketing message for it on my phone before.

"Are we going to explore this game map?" You scratched your chin, the realistic texture making you want to examine your hands.

What are you muttering to yourself?

A familiar voice came from behind you. You turned around and saw that Qin Che had changed into his game outfit at some point.

"Wow!!! Qin Che, you look so cute!!!" The outfit is that of a hero, paired with fluffy animal ears.

You excitedly jumped to his side, trying to reach for the animal ears he was wearing on his head.

Those lively ears twitched, and he leaned back a little in resistance, making it even harder for you to reach them.

"Qin Che~~ just touch it once~~~~" you said to him in a coquettish tone.

Qin Che raised his hand and frowned, then bent down with a hint of helplessness, letting you pinch his animal ears.

"Gurgle, gurgle..." It's fluffy and feels exceptionally good to the touch.

"Qin Che, is this ear just for decoration, or is it part of your body? Can you feel anything when I pinch it?"

Qin Che looked up, a smile in his eyes, and grabbed the hair on your head: "Try it, and you'll see."

"Ah!" You suddenly let go of his ear and instead touched your own pair of animal ears.

"So I have one too! That's so fun, it even has a tactile feel." As soon as you said that, a brilliant idea flashed into your mind, and you quickly reached behind your butt.

Something furry just wrapped around your wrist.
