"See for yourself."

Qin Che stuffed the paper bag into your arms, then started the car.

You look down and see a black and white blob inside.

"Qin Che!!" A glint flashed in your eyes as you looked at the man beside you.

"Hmm?" Qin Che responded calmly, focusing on the road conditions without turning his head.

"Did you still go and get it back?" you asked tentatively.

"No, a kid caught it, but his mother was upset that the cat was half-dead and was arguing with the shopkeeper. I bought a water gun from a roadside shop and traded it with the kid," Qin Che said casually.

"You're so kind." You reached into the paper bag and gently stroked the kitten's head. Although the kitten didn't seem to be in good condition, it very intelligently licked your finger, as if it knew that you had rescued it.

Qin Che smirked: "Is such a small thing worth getting this emotional?"

You quickly shook your head: "It's not a small matter. I don't know how to say it, it's just that every moment I'm with you feels like I can love you a little more."

Qin Che laughed out loud with pleasure: "Sweet talk."

"This isn't just sweet talk; it comes from the bottom of my heart. You're not just a kind-hearted god to me, you're my god too!!"

"Exaggerated..."

"Really, really, you believe me..."

"We're here, get off the car."

"Huh? Where are we?" you ask, puzzled.

"We should take it to the vet; it doesn't look well." Qin Che parked the car, got out, and then came over to open the car door for you.

"Is the pet hospital still open at this hour?" You asked as you got off the bus with him, carrying a paper bag containing the kitten.

Qin Che raised his hand and pointed to the lit sign of the pet hospital: "Open 24 hours."

The on-duty veterinarian took the kitten for a checkup, but you ran into trouble when filling out the form for the kitten.

"What should I name her?" You asked, biting your lower lip and frowning.

“Little Black,” Qin Che replied.

"It also comes in white."

"Then let's call him Xiaobai."

"He is black and white."

"Then let's call it Black and White."

"......" No one is more straightforward and blunt than you.

"How about we call it Oreo, since it's black and white?" A brilliant idea flashed in your mind.

"No." Qin Che refused decisively.

"Why!" you asked, looking up in confusion.

"Those two little oranges you named, Little Orange No. 1 and Little Orange No. 2, do you think this is fair to them?" Qin Che looked at you with a leisurely gaze.

"Um..." you said, giving up. "Then I'll rename them. From today onwards, they'll be called Orange and Tangerine."

"The name you chose is inextricably linked to food," Qin Che said with a smile, ruffling your hair.

"They're great, I'm very satisfied with these names."

Not long after you filled out the form, the doctor had already examined Oreo.

"There's nothing seriously wrong, just a bit of malnutrition. We can take it back and give it some extra nutrition."

"Okay, thank you, doctor." You took the kitten and held it in your arms.

Then I bought a cat carrier here, along with a lot of canned cat food and kitten food.

Qin Che helped you carry the bags and left the pet hospital.

It was already midnight when we got back to the villa.

After settling Oreo in, you went back to the bedroom and collapsed onto the sofa.

"So tired?" Qin Che stood in front of you, looking at your unseemly appearance, and found it somewhat amusing.

"Ugh, I'm so tired from playing. I need to take a shower and go to bed right away. My eyelids are already drooping."
