"Ugh..."

A man dressed in blue was vomiting while leaning against the rocking boat. Two servants in hemp clothing were beside him, one holding water to give him a drink and the other gently patting his back.

"Tsk, how did someone as weak as you ascend to immortality? You even get seasick." Ran Zhi looked at him with disdain from a distance, his disgust undisguised.

Big Bear was already furious, and he immediately turned around and yelled, "How dare you talk like that? You were the ones who sent our boss here!"

"Heh, don't think I don't know what your master is thinking. With this useless body, you think you can stay by the Goddess's side? Don't wait until something happens and you have to be saved by the Goddess, you piece of trash."

"Oh? I had no idea when my brother became controlled by the water god?"

The gentle voice carried a sense of awe. As soon as Yin Fei looked up, she saw a figure with flowing robes slowly landing at the bow of the ship. Today, Ni Yue was wearing a peach-pink dress, a veil lightly dyed with peach blossoms covering half of her face, and a small pink gemstone crown, like a teardrop, tied up half of her long hair.

Ran Zhi quickly bowed, "What brings you here?"

Despite her dizziness, Yin Fei bowed and said, "Your Highness, Goddess."

Ni Yue raised her hand slightly, and a golden spiritual energy flew out from her fingertips, circled around Yin Fei's body, and entered his brow. She smiled and said, "My divine power can relieve your dizziness."

Ran Zhi kept her head down and maintained the original posture, but her folded fingernails were already digging into her flesh.

That damned vile demon attracted the goddess's attention the moment he arrived! He's the goddess's fiancé! Why does this vile demon deserve such treatment from the goddess?!

Ni Yue naturally noticed his dissatisfaction and calmly looked up at the water god who was admiring the scenery not far away.

The water god had a dignified appearance, with a strong, square face beneath thick eyebrows. He was looking up at the moon and not at them.

"What, is the moon so beautiful tonight that even the water god has abandoned his eyes and ears?"

To put it simply: Are you blind? Can't you see your son spewing nonsense?

The Water God then seemed to wake from a dream and looked at Ni Yue, bowing in a flustered manner. "When did Your Highness arrive? The town mayor and I were admiring the moon and didn't notice you at all. How did you know we were here?"

“I came here because I received a request from the believers.”

The water god looked around, puzzled. "I remember the mayor saying there were no women on this boat."

He stepped aside, and Ni Yue saw a short, bewildered old man standing next to him.

"So you doubt this goddess?"

"Don't dare."

"That's good then," Ni Yue slowly raised her arm, her spiritual energy swirling in her palm before rushing towards the old man's brow. The old man's eyes were glazed over for a moment before he reacted.

"Oh dear, our distinguished guests are still on deck so late. Please go back and rest."

Ni Yue gracefully landed on the ground with a flick of her sleeve. "Where is my room? I would be grateful if this elderly lady could show me the way."

“No problem, no problem,” the old man said, bending down as he walked down into the hold. “Please come with me.”

As Ni Yue walked behind, passing through a series of closed doors, the stinging pain in her arm returned. She raised her arm and saw the word "Question" written on it.

Ni Yue suddenly exclaimed, "Oh dear, I suddenly feel a little cold. Is this place...?"

The old man suddenly turned around as if he'd been electrocuted, shushed him, and opened one of the doors. "Honorable guest, this is your room. Your friend is next door. And about what you just said, please don't speak so loudly, it could cause an accident..."

Ni Yue raised an eyebrow, raised her hand and took out a lustrous pearl. Just as she was about to speak, she saw a figure walking down to the next level of the ship's cabin. She said calmly, "Old man, what makes you say that?"

"Hiss!" The old man blinked hard and put away the beads. "Then let me tell you a story."

At this point, a cold wind suddenly blew through the quiet corridor, causing the candles on both sides to flicker.

No one could see that the moon was very full tonight, and the huge ship drifted on the sea, letting the pitch-black water rise and fall.

The old man shrank his neck and clenched the pearl in his palm.

“In the past, we had to bring several women with us when we went out to sea to cook, but a year ago a woman jumped into the sea on the boat. After that, people kept going missing on our boat. In recent months, we haven’t brought any women out to sea, and the number of missing people has decreased.”

"Today is our first day at sea this month. Before setting sail, the whole village went to the Water God Temple to pray and offered many sacrifices! We just hope that the Water God will show his power and take away this evil spirit on the boat!"

After finishing the story in one breath, the old man nervously looked around with his hands clasped in his pockets. "Oh, the story is over. You should get some rest. It's best not to go out tonight unless you have something to do."

Ni Yue smiled and nodded, "Thank you, I will be careful."

The door slammed shut, and Ni Yue's smile vanished. She raised her arm and asked, "What do you think? Is this some kind of ghostly malfunction?"

The sound of something heavy falling outside alerted Ni Yue, who got up, but before she could stand up, she felt dizzy and collapsed back onto the bed.

"Ah~ it's finally my activity time again."

In the dimly lit room, the girl opened her eyes, got up and stretched, and casually adjusted the hair ornament on her forehead.

She walked to the door and pushed it open, muttering to herself, "This time I can't let you get away first."

The candles in the corridor had gone out sometime ago. Despite being a closed cabin, a cold wind was howling incessantly. The girl kept running towards the deck without stopping.

When Ji Cang woke up, he found himself hanging on the railing, swaying with the boat. He stood up with disgust, holding onto the railing. "You could at least try to hide where you're throwing up. Exposing your weakness in front of the enemy, I don't know if you're really stupid or just pretending."

He dusted himself off and glanced at the two sleeping soundly on the ground. "You two are just as silly as your boss! You can stay asleep, your boss is leaving."

Having said that, he stepped onto the railing with his left foot, preparing to leap up. But his right foot, which was halfway extended, was suddenly grabbed by a cold hand and pulled backward. Just as he was about to turn his head to look, he was punched hard in the head, making him dizzy. His handsome face kissed the ground without any hindrance.

"You arrogant brat, try running away from me again!"

Familiar tone, familiar form of address!

Ji Cang endured the pain in his nose and turned his head to look. He saw the girl standing with her hands on her hips, glaring at him angrily, with one leg still on his butt.

Ji Cang paused for half a second, "Stupid girl?"

Li Yang raised a hand to wipe her nose and sneered, "You still recognize me? I thought you'd lost your mind after being a demon dragon for so long! Why did you run away last night!"

"I didn't know you would be there..."

"Don't know my ass! I thought your brain had degenerated, but it turns out you don't have a brain at all. If I'm not inside Ni Yue's body, what do you think I'll become?!"

Ji Cang slapped her foot away and got up, grimacing as he rubbed his nose. "I really didn't know. I thought I was the one who opened this illusion, and that I would be the only one who would come in. Who knew you would come in too?"

Li Yang rolled her eyes. "Based on the pattern of the past two days, we wake up every morning. Also—what did you do last night?"

"Find the key to this illusionary formation; we can't get out without it."

"The illusion has a key point?" Li Yang glanced around and, for some reason, felt that the dark sea was a bit strange.

“Well, we don’t have much time, let’s talk as we walk.” Ji Cang climbed back onto the railing and stretched out his hand to her. “Hurry up, let’s find the array’s core first.”

Suddenly, their clothes were tugged...
