Kiana and the Captain's Bizarre Adventure

"How long ago did I feel this way?"

Kiana attacked the enemy in front of her with her one-handed sword while simultaneously using her pistol to take down the demonic assassins in the distance who were attempting to summon their own.

"You mean the mission we went on together? It's been seven or eight years since the Great Honkai ended, and I really miss that feeling."

As she spoke, Bronya used her lightsaber to slay the enemy in front of her, then instantly switched her weapon to pistol mode and took down the scythe-wielding assassin who was trying to ambush Kiana with a single shot.

"How could the mighty God of Earth be ambushed?"

"I spotted that assassin a long time ago. Even if you don't make a move, I'll turn the tables on you in a heartbeat!"

He then shot and blew up the assassin behind Bronya.

"And you're one to talk! Didn't you also get sneaked up behind someone by a suicide squad?"

"Humph!"

"Humph!"

The next second, the two rushed towards each other, and then their knives fell.

Silver and blue sword light flashed through the air, creating sonic booms, and the assassins in front of them fell to the ground, turning into pieces of flesh.

Then, with a light tap of their right foot, their swords once again drew graceful arcs, and the assassins who tried to approach them were once again cut in half at the waist.

Before long, the surrounding assassins and quantum creatures were cleared out.

But the next second, assassins and quantum creatures began to appear around them again.

Even a monster riding a white, horse-like creature began to appear in their field of vision.

"That's a Knight-class Honkai Beast? And why are these monsters still appearing? It's never going to end!"

"This is probably the work of the Star Core. If it's conscious, it probably wants to keep us here. The longer we stay, the stronger the enemies we'll encounter will be. Kiana, we can't keep playing around like this. Let's prepare to break out!"

As Kiana snapped her fingers, the entire world was covered in purple in the next second, and everything seemed to be frozen in place as if a pause button had been pressed. Kiana grabbed Bronya's hand and quickly left this place of trouble.

After Kiana and Bronya left, the world returned to normal. All the Honkai creatures, having lost their target, began to slowly disappear, leaving only a cold wind blowing across the snow on the ground.

Before long, Kiana used her powers of consciousness to locate the others and successfully reunited them in a hidden cave.

After a brief exchange of information, Kiana learned about their current situation.

It turns out that after separating from Kiana and the others, the captain never saw the Honkai creatures again. Under Clara's leadership, the group successfully obtained the necessary parts.

However, on the way back, they were suddenly attacked by Honkai Beasts. Fortunately, the Honkai Beasts that appeared were only tank-class, and everyone present was able to handle them.

However, after dealing with the tank-class Honkai Beast, a temple-class Honkai Beast and even an emperor-class Honkai Beast appeared, and several raid-class Honkai Beasts blocked their path.

If the Honkai Beasts that reappeared from the Rift weren't still not perfect, it would have been difficult for Dan Heng and the others to guarantee Clara's safety when facing so many Honkai Beasts.

They eventually escaped the encirclement without serious injury and arrived at the cave they are in now.

"So what's going on here? These monsters don't seem to be the Rift creatures we're familiar with," Seele asked.

“You should know that things that have disappeared within the Rift, even phantoms of people, can appear, right? And that phantoms can be created based on the memories of the living,” Dan Heng said.

Seele and Bronya Rand nodded.

“Those monsters are the latter, except that the memories used to recreate them come from our side.”

“If it really is the power of the star core at work, then we can’t afford to be so slow, either way,” March 7th said.

"Kiana, use your hidden power!"

"Don't talk about me like I'm some kind of Pokémon!"

"Pokémon?"

"Simply put, it's a game we have called Pokémon. The main gameplay involves controlling cute little monsters to battle," Bronya explained.

As she spoke, Kiana had already successfully summoned the portal.

“What is this?” Seele asked.

"This is a portal I created using my abilities. Although it can't teleport us directly to Swallow, it can take us back to where we came from."

"What are you waiting for? Hurry up and go inside!"

March 7th stood inside the portal, half of his body sticking out as he spoke.

"It's clearly my ability, but it's being made to seem like it's March 7th's ability," Kiana complained.

"I think she's quite similar to you, equally enthusiastic and equally silly."

After saying that, Bronya quickly ran into the portal, and Kiana let out a strange cry and followed her in, leaving the captain and the others looking at each other in bewilderment.

"Captain, you take Clara inside first, I'll be there shortly."

The captain did not object to this, since the portal was right there and it didn't matter who went first or last.

Suddenly, the portal shook a few times, like an old television set, and then Kiana's anxious voice came from inside.

"Captain, come quick! The entire space is starting to become unstable, the portal is about to close if we don't leave soon!"

As they spoke, the portal shrank at a visible speed. Without thinking, the captain immediately picked up Clara and roughly threw her into the portal.

As Clara's figure disappeared on the other side of the portal, the portal closed completely.
