"Yun girl!"

Su's exclamation broke the warm silence outside.

The two dropped what they were holding and rushed toward the source of the sound inside the house.

Xiang Yun was lying on the floor of the main room, and Su Shi and Xiang Dayong looked on with shock and worry.

Xiang He crouched down beside Xiang Yun, who had fainted, her face deathly pale, blood still trickling from the corner of her mouth.

Upon seeing this, He Sui'an was alarmed. "What's going on?"

He looked at Xiang He with worry in his eyes. Just moments before, she had been all smiles, but now her face was tinged with a dark emotion, and her cold eyes were deep and unfocused.

Xiang He reached out and touched Yun's neck; it was still throbbing. She immediately straightened Yun's limbs.

He pulled out a piece of yellow paper with a talisman written on it from his sleeve, quickly stuck it on Xiang Yun's forehead, and then placed his palm on her forehead with one hand in a mudra.

"The soul is free, the body is unburdened, and the three souls and seven spirits return to the body..."

Xiang Yang stared blankly as Xiang He chanted the incantation. He knew Xiang He was someone else, but he didn't know she also knew these supernatural abilities...

He then looked at He Suian and his own parents. None of them seemed surprised by his words; instead, they were all looking at Xiang Yun with tension.

So everyone already knew...

With his hands hanging at his sides, his tightly pursed lips moved slightly, but he said nothing in the end, looking at Xiang Yun with worried eyes.

As if Xiang He's spell had taken effect, Xiang Yun's complexion gradually regained its color, but she remained unconscious.

Xiang He withdrew her hand, her furrowed brows deepening. "This is a bit troublesome. Yun'er has been malnourished for a long time, and now her vital energy has been taken away. She needs some replenishment before she can wake up."

Mrs. Su was shocked, her eyes glistening with tears. "What should we do?"

"Her soul has been stabilized, but her body is weak. There's only one way, and..."

"And what..."

Xiang He gave the couple a reassuring look, "Don't worry, feed her with the blood essence of your relatives. The blood of relatives is easy to integrate into her body, and she will wake up soon."

After saying that, Xiang He used the two fingers of her left hand to slash her right wrist, but just as she was about to do so, both hands grabbed her wrist at the same time.

Her left hand froze in mid-air. Xiang He stared at the two people opposite her with her mouth slightly open, then frowned helplessly, "There's probably some other story behind it all..."

Xiang Dayong lowered his head and remained silent, while Su Shi's lips trembled as she couldn't utter a word.

Faced with Xiang He's lighthearted words, Madam Su bit her lip and shed tears. She glanced at Xiang Yang with teary eyes, then finally withdrew her hand to wipe away her tears.

Xiang He reached out to the sun, "Lend me some of your blood, sister."

Without hesitation, Xiang Yang reached out his hand. Xiang He did not cut his wrist, but only took a drop of blood from his fingertip, which fell onto Yun's lips.

Xiang He immediately formed a hand seal and pressed it against Xiang Yun's chest, shouting, "Rebound!"

"Ahem! Ahem!"

Xiang Yun, who was unconscious, coughed. Su Shi quickly held her in her arms, gently stroking her cheeks, and cried with heartache.

Xiang He exhaled a breath of stale air, removed the talisman from her forehead, and folded it up in a few quick movements. "I forgot about this. Mother, take Yun'er into the room to rest first, I'll go out and take a look."

She was surprisingly calm. Su Shi and Xiang Dayong did not look up at her. Instead, they carried Xiang Yun into the room and listened to her soft breathing before they felt relieved.

The two exchanged a glance, and Madam Su sighed. She then placed the talisman close to Xiang Yun's body. As if they had made up their minds, they turned and walked out of the room.

Meanwhile, Xiang He, standing outside the door, gazed into the distance, her eyes half-closed, her fingers twitching slightly at her side.

A chill flashed in his eyes, "You bastard, still plotting against people..."

He Sui'an's brow twitched slightly. "Does that bastard mean the fourth brother's family?"

"Yes and no." Xiang He took out a few more talismans from her sleeve and folded them nimbly with her fingers. "The curse was used to pierce the heart, but Xiang Lianhua is still not giving up. She actually went after Yun girl."

Seeing the coldness in her eyes, He Sui'an frowned as well. "What did you mean by 'rebound'?"

She then gave a disdainful smile. "It's just a catchphrase, but the meaning of a curse is retribution. The person who casts the curse will also suffer the same backlash. Whether she can survive it depends on her fate."

The curse mark had just been cast. If Xiang Lianhua had survived, Xiang He would have praised her for her incredible luck.

"You want the other person dead?"

"Even if you don't die, you'll be paralyzed for a while," Xiang He handed him the amulet. "Keep it close to your body. There have been too many strange things happening lately, and I can't take care of too many things."

He Sui'an obediently put it away, while Xing Ji watched from the side, his heart itching with desire, hesitating whether or not to reach out and take it...

While he hesitated, Xiang He had already handed it to him. He immediately blushed with shame and thanked her while trying to remain calm.

Xiang He was still folding paper when she heard footsteps behind her, at which point she stopped.

Su and Xiang Dayong walked over, with Xiang Yang by their side. Seeing this, He Suian was about to leave, but Xiang He stopped him, saying, "It wouldn't hurt for you to listen, sir. Perhaps you can give me some advice."

Although Su had already guessed that Xiang He was calm, she was still surprised to see it with her own eyes.

The group sat around a small open space in front of the vegetable garden, each lost in their own thoughts about what was to come.

Su clasped her hands tightly on her knees, her expression now calm. "How much can you guess?"

"You just mentioned blood ties, which is basically saying I'm not your child, that I was either adopted, or..."

Xiang He has watched too many TV dramas, and such melodramatic plots are common. She just didn't expect to encounter a melodramatic soul-swapping scenario, let alone a story about a fake identity.

"Tell me, which wealthy family's daughter am I? We're from a wealthy family, aren't we?"

Her calmness was not without reason, after all, she was no longer the original owner of this body. Hearing her relaxed tone, Madam Su couldn't help but smile helplessly, "I was overthinking it after all. I should have told you earlier, or I would have made myself worry for so long."

The scene, which should have been somber, relaxed once both of them had figured out their identities.

But Xiangyang, standing to the side, looked grave. "Sister...isn't she our own sister?"

Su and Xiang Dayong stared at him in astonishment, unsure of what to say. Xiang He, however, smiled and pinched his cheek. "You should think of it this way: now that the body and soul are no longer blood relatives, the feelings of more than ten years remain. Sister is just a title."

If he can accept someone whose soul is not his sister, he should also be able to accept someone whose physical body is not his sister.

Perhaps Xiang He overestimated Xiang Yang, for he lowered his head and remained silent.

He Suian gleaned a lot from the few words he uttered. He calmed himself down, looked at Xiang Yang, and said softly, "Sometimes, blood ties are not as strong as the bond between people who are not related by blood."

He spoke these few simple words with ease. Xiang He glanced at him, his expression calm and composed, his handsome face gentle, yet one could sense a hidden meaning in his words.

Standing behind him, Xing Ji pursed his lips into a thin line, lowering his eyes to conceal his complex emotions.

Hearing his words, Xiangyang lowered his head even further. Xiang Dayong reached out and gently patted his back. "She is the child we have raised for more than ten years. In our hearts, she is our own flesh and blood."

"Um……"

Xiang Yang couldn't accept it for the time being, and no one pressured him. The first thing they needed to figure out was who "Xiang He" really was.

But Xiang He didn't mind; she just wanted to put the couple at ease, and it wouldn't hurt to listen.

She sat facing the two of them, saying, "Please speak, I'm listening."
