Train Survival: You're really trying to survive!

After passing through the disinfection room, the air pressure door slowly opened, accompanied by a slight depressurization sound, and Su Li was the first to set foot on this unfamiliar land.

The moment his boots touched the ground, he felt a peculiar elastic feedback—like stepping on a giant block of jelly, yet softer than rubber, possessing a kind of biological resilience. With each step, the gel would sink slightly, then slowly bounce back, leaving a shallow footprint, only to return to its original state a few seconds later.

"This feels... pretty good?" Su Li couldn't help but stomp on it a couple more times, as if testing some new and interesting toy.

However, the next second, a strong stench rushed into his nostrils—the pungent smell of methane, the fishy stench of sulfides, and a kind of foul odor like the decomposition of rotting flesh by microorganisms, all mixed together, as if a heavy punch had hit his olfactory nerves.

"Ugh—!" Su Li suddenly covered her nose, her face turning pale instantly. "Is this a garbage dump or a septic tank?!"

Sun Lili followed closely behind, but her expression changed drastically as soon as she took a step. She immediately pulled an oxygen mask from her inventory, put it on her face, and muttered, "I can't take it anymore! This smell is even stronger than the dry toilet in my hometown that's been fermenting for three months!"

"Stop talking, the bad memories are coming back." Su Li's face turned even paler. Su Li quickly pulled out his mask; although he didn't need an oxygen supply, it could at least filter out most of the stench. He took a deep breath, finally calming down, and turned to look at the others in the group.

Among the team, only the Sun sisters and Su Li looked grim; the other three were not quite sure what was going on.

"Sigh, a sad barrier has already formed between us," Su Li sighed, shaking her head.

Ivan looked up at the sky and suddenly squinted.

"Wait...what is that?"

Following his gaze, everyone saw two suns slowly rising in the sky—

To the left is a dark red star, like a burning ball of charcoal, radiating dull heat; while directly in front is a blazing white sun, its light so dazzling it seems capable of burning the retina.

"A binary star system?" Su Li raised an eyebrow. "This is interesting."

Su Li felt the current temperature and estimated it based on her experience: "The current temperature is -10 degrees Celsius, but with this level of sunshine, it may soar to over 60 degrees Celsius at noon. The temperature difference between day and night is extremely large."

Sophia looked around, her brows furrowing slightly. "The terrain here is so monotonous."

Looking out, the whole world seemed to have been pushed over by some giant road roller—flat, smooth, without any undulations. Green gel covered the earth, stretching to the horizon, devoid of plants and rocks, with only a faint, foul-smelling wind.

“Let’s test the properties of these gels first,” Su Li said, raising her hands as magical energy gathered in her palms.

His left hand exhaled cold air, while his right hand ignited flames.

The moment the flame touched the gel, it hissed and charred instantly, releasing an even stronger stench—like burnt plastic mixed with rotting flesh, making one's stomach churn.

"Ugh—!" Sophia's sense of smell was far more acute than most people's, and this smell was like a biological weapon to her. Like a startled rabbit, she jumped back a few steps, fanning herself frantically at her nose, tears even welling up in her eyes.

Su Li wanted to laugh, but the smell prevented him from doing so. He could only suppress his anger and think to himself, "No! I have to get something to deodorize!"

He stopped spraying and walked towards the area scorched by the flames. The gel there had become soft and viscous, like melted rubber. When Su Li stepped on it and lifted it up, he could feel a distinct pulling sensation, like stepping into chewing gum.

Next, he went to the area affected by the freezing air. The dark green gel had hardened, and a thin layer of frost had formed on its surface, turning it dark green. Stepping on it made a crisp "crackling" sound, like stepping on ice.

“Interesting…” Su Li squatted down and tapped the frozen gel with her finger. “Flame makes it sticky, freezing makes it hard… The physical properties of this stuff change drastically with temperature.”

Sun Lili pinched her nose and leaned closer: "So...we have to be careful not to get swallowed by the melted gel at noon?"
