Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 88 Professor Minerva's Diary

Andres opened the letter and replied with a summary.

"Boss, we've acquired two bronze prime minister statues from the Yuanmingyuan at the auction house, one representing the snake and the other the sheep from the Chinese zodiac. Also, we've received information from within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the exchange student program has been approved. Now, all that's left is for Torren and his team to persuade the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, the documents for establishing the Magic Education Fund have been processed, and Torren intends to hold a press conference to announce its establishment. You might need to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony."

After reading Catherine's reply, he was generally satisfied with the progress. However, he hadn't expected that Catherine would actually acquire two bronze prime ministers from the twelve zodiac animal figures in the Old Summer Palace. While these items might not seem particularly valuable on the antique market, they held immense significance for the Dragon Kingdom. With these two assets as a stepping stone, he believed that the Dragon Kingdom wouldn't hinder the plan.

In his past life, he remembered how those treacherous foreigners, relying on the great significance of the twelve bronze heads, relentlessly swindled patriotic Chinese merchants. He never imagined that in this life he would actually manage to acquire two of them at a relatively low price.

In high spirits, Andres went downstairs to the auditorium for dinner.

The moonlight, silvery as it was, spilled onto the spires of Hogwarts Castle, the stone walls bearing the marks of time. The nights at Hogwarts were always peaceful and profound. In a quiet study within the castle, Professor Minerva sat at her desk, her silhouette softly outlined by the flickering candlelight. The quill in her hand scratched across the parchment, ink flowing slowly with the movement of her wrist.

Professor Minerva McGonagall was writing in her diary, a habit she had maintained since her school days. Over the years, she had filled dozens of notebooks. However, she carefully hid these diaries and never mentioned them to anyone.

"Today is March 25, 2007. It is also my 212th day in the New World. In my decades-long magical career, I know the wonder and charm of magic. But I never thought it would be so unfathomable."

In my original world, I was resting in bed after a busy day, when I woke up to find myself in a new world. Fortunately, Hogwarts was here too, which calmed my bewildered heart.

Next, I met the young headmaster, Andres, who looked to be around twenty-five or twenty-six years old. But the moment I saw him, I knew he was the headmaster of this new Hogwarts in this world.

I'm sorry, but I can only use the word "new" to describe it, because although it's still Hogwarts, it's clearly different from the original. The young headmaster talked to me a lot, and I gradually realized that he too had been summoned here and was filled with many questions about this new Hogwarts castle.

I don't understand what summoned us here, but I'm certain it wants us to establish a new school in this world. However, I'm already the headmaster of Hogwarts in my original world; shouldn't this new headmaster's position be mine?

Although I had many questions, I knew the young headmaster across from me had no answers either. Fortunately, my new job kept me busy and I didn't have time to think about these things anymore. I started those familiar work processes again, going to Muggle families to explain the situation of young wizards to the parents and to convince them that there are magical schools in this world.

The effect was surprisingly good; it seemed the world knew of our existence but didn't quite believe it either. Fortunately, almost all the parents were moved by the magic.

We quickly enrolled sixty-eight students. Yes, sixty-eight is a small number, isn't it? At least, I've never had so few students since I started teaching.

A few days later, Andres told me some good news: my colleague, Professor Flitwick, had arrived. This was truly wonderful news. Although Principal Andres was there, I always felt somewhat lonely. Flitwick's arrival made me very happy. When I privately asked him about our original world, I realized that we might come from different timelines.

Because our timelines were different—I had only recently become principal during his timeline—we felt confused, but school started soon afterward.

When school started, I used the same old tricks to completely fool the kids. Sure enough, this trick works as well as ever, no matter where we go. It can arouse children’s great enthusiasm for learning magic.

However, the new Hogwarts is a bit rudimentary, but Headmaster Andres, Professor Flitwick, and I are confident that we will make it better and better.

Sure enough, a few days later my old colleague Mrs. Hodge arrived, and the children started flying lessons. Unexpectedly, the children were incredibly enthusiastic about flying. Almost every weekend, many students would be flying and playing around at Hogwarts, even at the cost of points.

In the days that followed, Rupert Hagrid also appeared with Baskerville. He remained the Keeper of the Forbidden Forest, as there were no elective courses available for him to teach the class on protecting magical creatures.

However, Headmaster Andreas gave us a Halloween surprise: the magic dome and the ghosts of Hogwarts all appeared.

This new Hogwarts castle is becoming more and more like the original one. I can even sense that in some ways it has surpassed the original castle. I don't know why, but I feel that the young wizards are all smarter and easier to teach than the young wizards in the previous world.

Afterwards, I took the children to the Forbidden Forest to visit the centaur tribe. This was not only the children's first visit, but also mine, because in the original magical society, centaurs were not recognized as human; they could only be considered humanoid beings. I think their fate will be different in this world.

It's worth mentioning that Beretta from the college gave me a potted sunflower this semester. She told me that Professor Sprout had modified the sunflower; it has a longer blooming period but can't collect sun crystals. She said I could put it on my desk and use it as a lamp.

Sure enough, this flower emits a soft, gentle glow at night, which I love! However, Principal Andres has recently presented us with a new challenge. He told us that in order to prepare for future interdimensional invasions, he needs to expand enrollment and train as many wizards as possible to strengthen our power.

I understand his concerns; he's worried about the future. But I think he's taking too big a step, too hastily. Recruiting so many people at once, including many foreigners, might significantly impact the school's teaching.

However, considering his usual efforts in building Hogwarts, I didn't object. I understood that this young man needed more experience and support. Perhaps one day he could become the greatest headmaster in Hogwarts' history.
