Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 397 A Day at Hogwarts (Part 1)

"Ravenclaw? It's hard to imagine a Ravenclaw wizard harboring such hatred for Gryffindors! Ms. Christina, this joke is not funny!"

The blonde girl behind her wasn't angry at her companion's questioning. She, Andy, and Chris went to the Gryffindor table and found a seat. The moment they sat down, three sets of cutlery appeared out of thin air on the table. Christina picked up a knife and fork, took a piece of lamb chop from her plate, and started eating and chatting.

"Want to know why? I want to travel to the Pharaoh's Country during summer vacation, but my parents won't let me go alone! You know what I mean?"

The little girl gave the two fools a charming smile, and they immediately understood. Miss Christina needed two laborers—no, to be precise, two slaves—for her summer vacation. Chris's parents' rule was: "Don't cause trouble, you can do whatever you want." So Chris readily agreed; a spontaneous summer trip seemed like a good idea.

Andy began to hesitate, and he asked cautiously.

“I could, but I don’t have the money! As you know, I have three younger siblings, and it’s very difficult for my family to afford this expense.”

"It's alright, Andy! I invited you two to come on this trip with me. So my family will cover the expenses. You just need to pack your things and bring your passports!"

The wealthy Christina didn't care about the small amount of money needed for the trip. If her family was unwilling to pay for the two fools' travel expenses, she could pay for it herself from her allowance.

"That's wonderful! I've wanted to visit France for ages! They have the fascinating Sphinx and the Great Pyramid of Giza! It's hard to imagine how they built such massive pyramids in ancient times!"

"Hey, Andy! Haven't you ever thought that since we wizards exist, those pyramids wouldn't have been built with human lives? Use your brain!"

"Hmm? This! Okay, maybe you're right! Chris, could you please pass me two of those cherry tomatoes over there?"

"You two had better prepare more. We're not just going to see the famous tourist spots. We also want to go to some lesser-known places!"

Andy and Chris were a little confused when they heard this. They looked at each other and then asked a question together.

"What do you mean by 'unknown'? If it's unknown to everyone, how did you find out about this place?"

"You two are really idiots! What have you been doing all this time? Haven't you ever looked through the notes and messages left by the upperclassmen in the common room?!"

"At first, I thought it was interesting and read some of them, like 'I, XXX, hereby swear that I will become a magic god in the future!' or 'XXX, I like you,' and other idiotic messages! There were also messages like 'I left my treasure in the common room, hoping that future juniors can find it with their own wisdom.' Honestly, these were all incredibly boring. The treasure left by that senior was actually a piece of cream cake! I don't even know how long it had been hidden there, the whole cake had hardened!"

"Who told you two idiots to read that useless stuff! I'm talking about that 'Gryffindor's Game of the Brave' that's under the house flag!"

"There are books like this?"

Christina covered her face with one hand and said with a look of utter defeat.

"Of course! The upperclassmen all know about it, and they have a very strong interest in this book!"

"So what's in this book? Is it some kind of truth or dare game?"

"Pretty much, the truth is no joke! It's all a great adventure! The earliest batch of senior students left fifteen discoveries around the world, where they left magic circles! As long as you collect the magic power of all fifteen magic circles, Gryffindor will recognize you as a true Gryffindor upon graduation! It's a huge honor! To date, fewer than ten people have received this honor."

Andy and Chris were shocked to hear this, as they had never heard of such a thing before. They were somewhat skeptical, after all, they had been at Hogwarts for three years and had never heard of anything like it.

"Christina, are you sure this is true? Is this some kind of prank? How come we didn't know about something so interesting? If you can't produce evidence, we'll find it hard to believe!"

Christina rolled her eyes and said with a helpless expression.

"Of course it's true, why would I lie to you! The reason this tradition isn't widespread is because it's difficult to do and doesn't really mean anything! Completing it only proves you have the adventurous spirit of Gryffindor! Only a few students who are particularly enthusiastic about it are interested, so very few students know about it now! As for why I know this? Because my cousin has this honor, and he told me about it!"

After Christina finished speaking, she tilted her head up at a 45-degree angle, giving off a "I'm so awesome" look. Chris and Andy looked at her like they'd seen a ghost, then cautiously asked...

"Are you sure this isn't a story your cousin made up to fool you? We're not very educated, so don't try to lie to us!"

Christina was about to have an outburst when she heard this, but Andy quickly tried to calm her down.

"Christina, she probably isn't lying to us! If she's lying, we'll find out when we get back and check the book!"

"Yes, yes, yes! We'll find out everything after we finish lunch and go back to look at that book! By the way, Andy, why are we discussing this? I think Christina mentioned some inside information?"

"It's Professor Wang Ming! Why would Professor Wang Ming, a Ravenclaw, hate us Gryffindors so much?!"

"Ah, yes! That's it! Christina, whether that test you mentioned is real or not, Andy and I will go with you during the summer vacation. Now can you tell us the answer? We really don't understand why Professor Wang Ming hates Gryffindor so much!"

"Well, just listen to this, don't spread it around! The reason is quite simple: Professor Wang had a girlfriend from the same house when he was at Hogwarts. I heard they'd been together since their fourth year, and that Professor Wang didn't choose a better internship to be with her. Instead, he went to the Imperial Graveyard to grow herbs. Then, during his internship, his girlfriend suddenly broke up with him and started dating a Gryffindor! From then on, Professor Wang hated Gryffindors!"
