For the next two days, Jean and the old centaur Rand took turns forging the meteorite. Most of the time, Jean did the forging, while Rand guided him. On the daytime of the full moon, Jean began shaping the meteorite.

After more than ten days of being tempered by magical flames, the meteorite iron had completely melted, and Jean began to shape it with magic. Jean first used magic to solidify a shield mold on the forging table, the design of which he had pondered for a long time. Later, unable to come up with any new ideas, he directly borrowed the Hogwarts school crest.

During this time, Letor began to drink water and eat to replenish his strength, while Old Rand helped Letor refine other materials in the furnace beside him. After the shield had completely cooled down, Letor flipped it over and began to pour the materials that Old Rand had refined into the Hogwarts crest on the front of the shield.

Let Noel poured the molten bronze from the Originium into Slytherin's serpentine trough, Letel poured the molten brass from the Originium into Hufflepuff's badger-shaped trough, Letel poured the molten gold from the Originium into Gryffindor's lion-shaped trough, and finally Letel poured the molten platinum from the Originium into Ravenclaw's eagle-shaped trough.

Before these metals could cool down, the Bluestone Ore was placed into the Slytherin slot, the Moonstone Ore into the Hufflepuff slot, the Dark Stone Ore into the Gryffindor slot, and finally the Sunstone Ore into the Ravenclaw slot.

By the time they finished, it was past 11 PM. Old Rand kept reminding Jean to keep track of the time. They planned to finish forging the shield precisely at midnight, as midnight on a full moon was considered the time when magic was most active.

In the magical world, it's widely believed that moonlight on a full moon night is the most magical, and magical items created during this time, when illuminated by moonlight, will have their powers greatly enhanced. As for why this happens, wizards have never understood it and ultimately attribute it to Merlin's blessing.

Just before midnight, Jean began adding eyes to the animals on the Hogwarts crest. The animals' eyes were of paramount importance, much like the finishing touch in ancient Chinese mythology. Wizards considered this a crucial activation point for magical items; while not all magical items had animal symbols, all had an activation point.

However, Jean chose the Hogwarts crest as the surface decoration, so the nodes of this shield are the eyes of the animals.

Let Noboru used a piece of green jade for the snake's eyes, and a piece of yellow jade for the badger's eyes. Let Noboru used a piece of white jade for the eagle's eyes, and a piece of black pearl for the lion's eyes. At midnight, Letnoru placed the last piece of jade precisely on time, and the entire shield seemed to be fully activated, emitting rays of various colors that illuminated the entire Battle Axe tribe.

Old Rand watched for a while, then, deciding it was about time, took a potion from the fur behind him and applied it to Jean's hand. Jean's wound quickly stopped bleeding and began to heal, and after a while, it was completely healed, leaving no trace of injury.

Just as Nora was looking at old Rand with confusion, a voice suddenly came from behind them.

“Old Rand, it seems you have taught this little wizard everything you can.”

Upon hearing this, neither Noah nor old Rand turned around, already knowing who the newcomer was.

“Yes, Chief Anduin. I am old and don’t have much time left. I am happy to come to a new world and make new friends. And Jean is the most talented pony I have ever seen, so I am willing to pass on the tribe’s traditions to him. I also believe that he is a good boy and will carry on what our ancestors left behind.”
