Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 15 Admission Notice (1)

On another note, Professor McGonagall arrived at the Gryffindor Headmaster's office on the second floor, though the office was far less beautiful and comfortable than before. She understood, knowing that Andreas was currently short of credits and needed to use them for teaching.

After putting away the admission notice, Professor McGonagall began writing the familiar acceptance letters. Although a hundred letters seemed like a lot, Professor McGonagall only needed to write the content, leave out the students' names, and apply a copying spell. The more troublesome part was writing the students' names and addresses.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Principal: Andreas Mori

(Founder of the new Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Earl of Skye, wizard)

Honey:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For certain reasons, the school has decided to provide all learning materials and equipment; please bring only your personal belongings.

The semester is scheduled to begin on September 1st. We will be waiting for your reply via owl until July 31st. Since you may not have an owl, there will be one available every night from 8 to 10 pm until your reply.

Vice Principal (Female)

Respectfully submitted by Minerva McGonagall.

McGonagall nodded in satisfaction, finding no errors. She then cast a copying spell on the pile of parchment, transferring the contents to other parchment sheets. She then began selecting students' names from the Book of Admission and writing them down.

Professor McGonagall carefully wrote out all one hundred acceptance letters, then melted wax and stamped each one with the Hogwarts emblem, hoping for a response. She still needed to tidy up; once the letters received replies, she and Headmaster Andres would have to go door-to-door to assure everyone they met that they weren't frauds. Although she used to make similar visits several times each semester, these were never to all Muggle-born wizards.

"Sparkle, take these acceptance letters to the Owl Tower and mail them out."

"It would be my pleasure to serve you, Professor McGonagall!"

With that, the house-elf took the pile of letters to the owl tower. When it appeared, Andres had already left. It placed the letters on the table, then snapped its fingers. A large bag of owl food flew from the cupboard to the trough, while water flowed from the tap.

"Alright, little ones! Now that you've eaten and drunk your fill, let's get to work. There are so many letters waiting for you to deliver."

The owls standing in the recess stared wide-eyed, as if questioning Sparkle, "Are you trying to kill us owls?!" The little creatures glanced at her, then quickly went to eat and drink, before flying to stand beside Sparkle. The letters beside them were already packed, carefully tied to their feet with twine, and bore the Hogwarts crest. After checking to make sure everything was alright, the owls gently flapped their wings, and with the help of the wind, took flight, soaring into the distance.

Diane Bryan has blue eyes and long blonde hair. She is tall and beautiful. She is a cheerful and lively 18-year-old girl who loves to travel and read. She is a kind and generous person, always willing to help others. She enjoys spending time with friends as well as traveling alone. She is a vibrant person who always exudes charm in a crowd.

The weather in Edinburgh wasn't very good that day; it was drizzling outside.

Diane was packing her things at home, getting ready to go out. She had an art and design practice class that afternoon, something she'd arranged with her classmates before the holidays. After class, she planned to work at a convenience store to earn money for her next trip. Just as she was about to close the window, a dark shadow flapped its wings and flew towards her, startling her and causing her to quickly take two steps back. But when she got a better look at the creature, her eyes crinkled into a smile.

A snow-white owl landed on the window, frantically flapping its wings to shake off the raindrops, its face looking rather unhappy as if it were complaining about the damn weather.

Diane went to the bathroom to get a towel, wanting to help wipe away the rain, but she didn't dare to get too close too quickly, since owls are large birds and can be predatory and aggressive.

Just as Diane was being careful, the owl raised one of its claws and showed it to her.

Huh? It's a letter? No way, the last time I saw this was when I was watching Harry Potter in the movie theater! How is this possible? Can letters really be delivered by owls? How is that even possible? This is illogical!

Despite her shock, confusion, and bewilderment, Diane felt reassured and approached the owl. After all, it was trained to deliver mail, so it couldn't be too dangerous, right? Instead of rushing to retrieve the letter, she helped the owl wipe itself clean. The owl squinted its eyes, seemingly enjoying it, and even rubbed against Diane's hand in a friendly gesture, making Diane laugh.

Then she took down the letter and saw that the writing on the brown paper envelope was wet from the rain, but it was still legible.

The address reads: Ms. Diane Bryan, 1st Floor, 154 Mariner's Avenue, Birmingham.

When you flip it over, you'll see a large Hogwarts school crest!

Diane's eyes widened, but she quickly recovered from her shock and sighed. She was eighteen, past the age of daydreaming. She didn't believe the letter was real; she just thought someone was playing a joke on her. She was facing career choices this year, otherwise she wouldn't have gone to this practical class. She grumbled to herself, "If this thing were real, I wouldn't have to worry about my future."

That's what I thought, but my hands didn't stop as I opened the letter. It read: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Only the Harry Potter magical world would use an owl to deliver mail. The headmaster is Andreas Morrie? Who's that? Shouldn't it be Albus Dumbledore? The founder of the new Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? What the heck, why "new"? The Earl of Sky Isle? Wait... something's not right. Where have I seen the Earl of Sky Isle before?!

The letter contained nothing else of note, just a complete list of missing books and equipment for school. It was made to look very real, from the mango paper envelope and parchment letter to the Hogwarts emblem—everything was authentic. Even though it was fake, it was still a pretty good experience, wasn't it?

As Diane was playing with the letter, the owl gently pecked her hand to get her attention.

"Does this mean I have to write a reply?"

She laughed as soon as she asked the question. How could that be? Owls don't understand human language. Looks like I still have some hope...

But what she saw on the owl's face was an expression of complete acceptance; it even nodded!

Diane thought for a moment and agreed. So she took out paper and pen and began to write a reply.

Dear Professor McGonagall,

Thank you so much! Although I don't know who you are, I'm still very happy to have had the experience of being accepted to Hogwarts. How did you know I really like the Harry Potter novels? Also, of course I agree to go to Hogwarts. Will you come to visit me dressed as a wizard? And when will I get my wand?

Diane Bryan
