She watched as Ah Xu and Ah Hou subdued the males one by one, like punching sandbags.

Not daring to look any further, Yan Shu turned and left.

She had just turned around when she ran into Ah Ling and Ah Chen walking towards her, each carrying a child.

Ah Ling held the little dragon in her arms, the child curled up quietly, its tiny silvery-white scales shimmering in the sunlight.

His already stern features softened slightly the moment he saw Yan Shu, and he said in a low voice, "My lady, you haven't recovered yet, and it's windy at the door."

Ah Chen held the little mermaid in his arms, the child's tiny tail gently patting his arm.

He had initially looked somewhat nervous, but the moment he saw Yan Shu, he seemed to find his anchor, his eyes filled with tender, cautious affection: "My lord, why don't you rest a little longer?"

The two males held the baby, gazing at her tenderly, as if she were the center of their world.

"What's this thing called? It's actually quite comfortable to sit on. You're full of clever ideas, you must have had Ah Xu and the others make it, right?"

Charlotte patted the wooden sofa gently, her tone revealing a hint of admiration.

“Your daughter is so cute.” The other females chimed in, their gazes falling on the two babies not far away, their smiles meaningful. “They’re so beautiful, they’re truly your children.”
