Su Yun Chu and Xi Er chatted for a while, then Su Yun Chu returned to her room. A short while later, the light in Su Yun Chu's room went out.

Seeing this, Xi'er also turned off the light in her room. She lay quietly on the bed, silently thinking about what to do tomorrow.

Upon hearing this, Xi'er quickly came over, opened the door to the room, and invited Su Yun Chu in. "Miss, why did you come here in person?"

After hearing this, Su Yunchu looked at Xi'er and smiled, then teased in a low voice, "Xi'er, why don't you welcome your young lady here, but instead want others to come?"

After hearing this, Xi'er looked at Su Yun Chu and shook her head slightly. "Miss, of course that's not true. How could we not welcome you?"

After hearing this, Su Yun looked at Xi'er and said with a slight smile, "Xi'er, why would you think that? Why would I want to see you make a fool of yourself?"

After Su Yun Chu finished speaking, she walked to Xi Er's side and gently patted her shoulder. Then, she sat down in the seat next to her.

A moment later, Xi'er brought over a plate of delicate pastries. Su Yun Chu picked up a piece from the plate and took a small bite.

The pastries were sweet and melted in your mouth, combining the fragrance of flowers, the soft and delicate texture of glutinous rice flour, and the pure, natural flavor of the food itself.

Su Yun Chu looked at Xi'er, nodded in satisfaction, and said with a light smile, "Xi'er, your skills are getting more and more exquisite!"

After hearing this, Xi'er looked at Su Yun Chu and shook her head slightly. "Miss, Xi'er is just looking for something to do to kill time."

"If you ask me, Miss, you are the one who truly does great things. Everything you do benefits the country and its people." After saying this, Xi'er looked at Su Yun Chu and showed her sincere admiration.

After hearing this, Su Yun looked at Xi'er and didn't know what to say for a moment, so she quickly changed the subject, "Xi'er, would you like to go eat another bowl of wontons?"

Xi'er immediately perked up at the mention of eating something delicious. "Miss, that would be wonderful! But we've had wontons so many times already, how about we try something different?"

After hearing this, Su Yun looked at Xi'er and shook her head, indicating that she didn't know what delicious food there was.

Seeing this, Xi'er looked at Su Yun Chu and whispered what she had found out, "Miss, I heard that a new tofu pudding shop has opened in town."

Su Yun Chu and Xi Er found a spot close by and quietly observed the proprietress, wanting to see how she made herbal tea.

Xi'er slowly walked towards the proprietress and asked her for two large bowls of herbal tea.

A moment later, the proprietress brought over Su Yun Chu and Xi Er's herbal tea. "Ladies, your herbal tea has been served. Please enjoy!"

Upon hearing this, Su Yun Chu immediately felt that the voice of the woman selling herbal tea was very familiar. Su Yun Chu slightly raised her head, and upon seeing what was there, she was instantly stunned!

The proprietress looked at Su Yun Chu and was stunned for several seconds.

After a short while, the proprietress composed herself and said calmly, "Miss, if there's nothing else, I'll go back to my work now!"
