The fire escape was not far to the right, but you had to cross an open space to get there. He took out a walkie-talkie from his pocket, turned the volume down, and held it to his ear.

"B2 West Zone is cleared; increase patrols in East Zone," the instruction came through the walkie-talkie.

“Someone has sneaked in through the employee entrance, possibly in B2 or B3. Everyone be careful.”

Hearing this, Chen Yun's eyes lit up—if security is concentrated in the East District, the pressure on his West District will be much less.

After waiting a while and watching the other group walk away, Chen Yun crouched down and quickly crossed the cargo area, his steps light yet steady.

I reached the fire door smoothly, pushed it open a crack, and slipped inside after confirming that no one was there.

The stairwell was cold and quiet, with only a dim emergency light providing illumination.

Chen Yun hurried downstairs, with reports coming in from various checkpoints over the walkie-talkie.

"There's a ten-second blind spot in the northwest corner of the B3 floor, D area surveillance camera. We just discovered it," a voice reported.

"Send someone to replace them," the commander responded.

Chen Yun clenched his fist—this was the intelligence he had been looking for.

Blind spots in surveillance are opportunities for infiltration, and besides, it seems this vulnerability has only just been discovered and hasn't been fully fixed yet.

Stepping out of the fire escape, B3 was much more imposing than I had imagined.

Security personnel in black uniforms patrolled various corners with walkie-talkies in hand.

Chen Yun adjusted his breathing, straightened his back, and walked forward with a serious expression. He looked as if he belonged here.

"Hey, which district are you from?" a security guard stopped him and asked.

"Supporting from Zone C, go to Zone D to help with the inspection." Chen Yun's tone was extremely calm, his gaze meeting the other person's directly, his eyes incredibly steady.

The other person nodded: "Sector D is a mess, be careful."

"Understand."

Four security guards walked past Chen Yun, and none of them suspected anything.

He scoffed inwardly, thinking to himself, "What level of vigilance do these people have? They're not even as good as they think they are."

Following the map's directions, he quickly found the passage to Sector D.

I frowned, wondering what was going on—temporary checkpoints had been set up at both ends of the passage, and several security guards were checking the credentials of each staff member.

Chen Yun hid behind a pillar, listening intently to the conversation on the walkie-talkie:

"We have dispatched personnel to the northwest corner of the D area, which is a blind spot for surveillance. The camera in the southeast corner has an activation delay of about 5 seconds."

"Got it. I'll go check it out."

Chen Yun's lips curled into a smile—the opening had appeared. He held his breath, waiting for the opportune moment.

As soon as the security guard in the southeast corner adjusted his position, he strode towards the checkpoint, his face filled with urgency.

"Alert! Sector C3 needs support!" He shouted into the walkie-talkie as he walked, his voice trembling with tension.

The security guard, who was checking his ID, frowned and looked at him: "What's the matter?"

"Just received orders: suspicious individuals in area C3. Reinforcements needed!"

"You guys watch this place, I'm going to help!"

In the brief moment the security personnel hesitated, Chen Yun had already strode through the checkpoint, appearing busy with official business, making it difficult for anyone to suspect anything.

"Stop!" a voice suddenly shouted from behind. "I need to verify your identity—"

"Target spotted in area B2!" The walkie-talkie suddenly crackled with an urgent report, interrupting the security guard's questioning.

Chen Yun breathed a sigh of relief and continued walking briskly, pretending not to hear the shouts behind him.

After turning the corner, I quickened my pace and sped forward along the route through the blind spot of the surveillance cameras.

Just as he was about to reach the target area, a tall security captain appeared from the side corridor, staring at him with eyes as sharp as knives.

"Don't move," the man said in a low, calm voice, his hand reaching for his waist. "Report number and area."

Facing the security captain's sharp gaze, Chen Yun's heart raced, but he remained outwardly calm.

He reached into his pocket, pulled out his work ID, and did so with such naturalness that it seemed he truly belonged there.

“A-47253, temporary personnel.” Chen Yun’s voice was calm, tinged with a hint of professional weariness.

"I just received an urgent order and haven't had a chance to coordinate with you yet, Captain."

The security captain took the credentials, examined the information on them carefully, and then looked up at Chen Yun's face, his gaze sweeping over every muscle on his face like lightning.

"Huh, I can't seem to remember you."

The captain frowned.

"I personally oversaw all the recent transfers; how could a single person have slipped through the net?"

Chen Yun smiled slightly, his posture neither humble nor arrogant:

"Perhaps it was an urgent arrangement from above? Captain, you're busy, it's normal that you can't remember such a small thing."

The captain's eyes were full of doubt, and he suddenly asked:

Which group are you in? Which area are you responsible for?

That's a really tricky question! An ordinary person would definitely give themselves away. Fortunately, Chen Yun had already memorized the entire security system architecture perfectly.

"I am assigned to the mobile support group, and will be randomly deployed between different areas."

Chen Yun spoke calmly, as if it were an ordinary matter.

"I was on routine patrol in Area A today, and just received orders to go to the northwest corner of Area D for support."

The captain narrowed his eyes:

"Northwest corner of Zone D? What's going on?"

"The monitoring system has a 10-second blind spot. It was just discovered and we need to fill it in."

Chen Yun blurted it out, with a hint of complaint:

"Why make such a big fuss over such a minor problem!"

The security captain's expression softened slightly, but he still didn't completely believe it:

What's your walkie-talkie channel?

Chen Yun moved his hand and adjusted the walkie-talkie:

"B-7, this is the dedicated channel for the mobile unit."

The captain nodded and said:

"To be absolutely sure, come with me to the security command center to verify your identity again."

Chen Yun readily agreed on the surface, but in his mind he was urgently calculating the best escape route.

He followed the captain toward the command center, occasionally chiming in with lighthearted banter.

"Speaking of which, the signal on A4 is a bit unstable today. Should we send more people?"

Chen Yun asked casually.

The captain paused, his brow furrowed.

"Area A4? What's going on? I didn't receive a report."

"Huh? Maybe I misheard."

Chen Yun pretended to be confused.

"It seems like B6 is experiencing a similar issue; there have been so many equipment malfunctions lately!"

The captain's attention was successfully diverted, and he picked up the walkie-talkie to start asking about the situation in each district.

Taking advantage of his momentary distraction, the two of them walked through a narrow, winding passageway.

Chen Yun took a step back and slid into the blind spot of the surveillance camera. The captain turned around, only to find that there was no one there.

The captain suddenly woke up and immediately yelled into the walkie-talkie:

"Suspicious personnel near B3 level, D area! Attention everyone! Repeat: Suspicious personnel have broken into B3 level, D area!"

The entire security system was thrown into chaos, with alarms blaring in every corner.

Meanwhile, Chen Yun had already silently passed through several corridors and, using the routes he had memorized in advance to cover the blind spots of the surveillance cameras, successfully arrived at the target area.

He stood in front of a seemingly ordinary metal door, took out a decoder he had prepared beforehand, and quickly cracked the lock.

"Too easy," Chen Yun muttered to himself.

The door opened, he slipped inside, and quickly locked the door behind him.

The room was dimly lit but spacious, with several servers running quietly, emitting a faint hum.

Chen Yun breathed a sigh of relief and proceeded to locate the target server according to plan.

However, just as he approached the main server, a red warning line suddenly lit up on the floor, and a laser net formed around him.

"Oh my god!" Chen Yun cursed under his breath, realizing he had stepped into a trap.

"It seems that the defense system here is much more complex than expected."

Outside the door, hurried footsteps grew closer, and the security captain's voice was clearly audible: "Surround this area! He can't have gone far!"

Chen Yun stared intently at the surrounding laser grid, fine beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

Time was of the essence; he had to find a way in before the security personnel broke down the door, or everything would be for naught.
