Chen Yun gave a bitter smile. It seemed that this "great undertaking" had indeed been "done," except that one of them had become a prisoner and the other a fugitive.

"Knock knock knock," the knocking on the door interrupted Chen Yun's thoughts.

He walked alertly to the door and looked out through the peephole.

Standing outside the door was a burly man in a black suit and sunglasses. He was clearly a trained fighter.

Chen Yun opened the door, and the burly man took off his sunglasses, revealing a weathered face.

"Hello Mr. Chen, I am from Black Panther Security Company. My name is Lei Hu."

Chen Yun nodded and stepped aside to let Lei Hu in.

Lei Hu surveyed the room, his professional assessment sweeping over every corner.

“Mr. Chen, your safety awareness is very strong, which is good, but there are some areas that need improvement.”

Next, Lei Hu pulled out all sorts of security equipment from his bag as if by magic:

Infrared sensors, miniature cameras, vibration alarms...

Chen Yun was dazzled by what he saw, feeling as if he were not living in an apartment, but in some secret military base.

After installing the equipment, Lei Hu began teaching Chen Yun some simple self-defense techniques.

"Mr. Chen, you are in good physical condition, you should learn quickly."

As Lei Hu spoke, he demonstrated a grappling move.

"Remember, be quick, ruthless, and accurate; don't hesitate."

Lei Hu smiled and said, "Mr. Chen, practice makes perfect. Just practice more. Li Feng is no pushover, so you must be fully prepared."

Upon hearing Li Feng's name, Chen Yun's face instantly darkened.

Lei Hu is right. Li Feng is like a venomous snake, ready to strike him deadly at any moment.

The move took place the following day. The new apartment was located in an upscale neighborhood in the city center, with tight security and an elegant environment.

After settling Wang Yuyan in, Chen Yun began investigating Li Feng's whereabouts.

Li Feng will definitely not let him off easily; this cat-and-mouse game has only just begun.

He had to be one step ahead of Li Feng to protect himself and Wang Yuyan.

"Hey buddy, wanna grab a 'Midnight Passion'?"

The bartender wiped the glass in his hand and asked casually.

Chen Yun sat in a neon-lit corner of the bar and shook his head:

"Give me a whiskey, on the rocks."

He looked around at the noisy casino and the entrance to the underground boxing match, where Li Feng was hiding among the mixed crowd.

"Anything new happening lately?" Chen Yun asked in a low voice.

"What else is there? Same old story: fighting, drinking, and losing everything." The bartender shrugged.

"But I heard that someone is looking for a guy named Li Feng. It seems he messed with someone he shouldn't have." Chen Yun's heart tightened.

"Have you found him?"

"Who knows?" The bartender handed over a glass.

"These days, it's not easy to find people who are hiding."

Chen Yun took the wine and drank it all in one gulp. He had to find Li Feng first in order to protect himself and Wang Yuyan.

Under the dim streetlights, Chen Yun's shadow was stretched long.

He roamed the city's streets and alleys, wandering its dark corners, searching for his prey.

One night, Chen Yun went to an underground casino.

The place is a chaotic mix of people, shrouded in smoke, with all sorts of noises intertwined, making it feel suffocating.

He sat at the bar, sipping his whiskey and observing the people around him.

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared in his line of sight.

The man was tall and thin, wearing a black leather jacket and a baseball cap with the brim pulled low, obscuring most of his face.

Although he couldn't see his face clearly, Chen Yun recognized him by intuition—Li Feng!

Chen Yun's heart pounded, and a chill ran from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.

He forced himself to calm down and observed Li Feng's every move without making a sound.

Li Feng seemed not to notice Chen Yun. He walked straight to a gambling table and began placing bets.

His movements were skillful, and his eyes were sharp; he was clearly a seasoned gambler.

Chen Yun quietly followed him and stood behind Li Feng, observing his gambling game.

Li Feng seemed to be having good luck, winning several rounds in a row, and his chips were piled up like a small mountain.

Just then, a scantily clad woman walked up to Li Feng and affectionately put her arm around his.

"Honey, you're so lucky, you won a lot tonight."

Li Feng put his arm around the woman's waist and burst into laughter.

"We're lucky, so of course we should celebrate!"

The woman giggled and said, "So, where shall we go to celebrate tonight?"

Li Feng whispered a few words in her ear, and the woman revealed a charming smile.

Chen Yun quietly followed the two men and left the casino.

Li Feng and the woman arrived at a luxury hotel and booked a presidential suite.

Chen Yun found a secluded corner across from the hotel and observed the hotel entrance.

About an hour later, Li Feng left the hotel alone. He walked hurriedly, as if he had something urgent to attend to.

Chen Yun immediately followed. Li Feng arrived at a secluded alley, looked around, and then entered a dilapidated building.

Chen Yun hesitated for a moment, but ultimately decided to go in.

He went up to the third floor and found Li Feng standing in front of a door, seemingly hesitating about something.

Chen Yun hid in a corner, holding his breath and observing Li Feng's every move.

Suddenly, the door opened, and a short man appeared in the doorway.

He had a hideous scar on his face, making him look fierce.

"Boss, you've finally arrived!" the scarred man said respectfully.

Li Feng nodded and went into the room.

The scarred man closed the door.

A chill ran from the soles of his feet straight to the top of his head. Chen Yun knew in his heart that this place was very strange and he should not stay for long.

Just as he was about to leave, a series of chaotic footsteps came from the stairwell, like several wild bulls running wildly.

Chen Yun quickly slipped into a nearby room filled with clutter and peered out through the crack in the door.

Several burly men in black, each exuding a murderous aura, went upstairs, heading straight for Li Feng's room.

Chen Yun's heart skipped a beat. It seemed that Li Feng was indeed no good person, and these people were probably his accomplices.

He became even more convinced that he was in deep trouble and might even lose his life there.

Not long after the man in black entered the room, a loud argument broke out inside.

"Where did you hide it?!" a rough voice roared.

Then came the muffled thuds of punches and kicks, and the clattering sound of furniture being overturned.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Li Feng's voice was filled with fear.

"Stop playing dumb, talk now!" another voice threatened.

Chen Yun was extremely anxious. Although he had a grudge against Li Feng, he didn't want to see anything happen to him, since Li Feng still knew some secrets about him and Wang Yuyan.

But he dared not make any rash moves now, for if he were discovered by these desperate criminals, he would truly be trapped with no way to escape.

He held his breath, trying to discern the sounds in the room and assess the situation.

Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, shattering the silence of the night, and Chen Yun's heart skipped a beat.
