The mysterious man's words disturbed everyone's mood, and the original joyful atmosphere vanished instantly.

Lin Yu frowned, his face grave, thinking to himself, "This person's visit is ill-intentioned. What is he here for? It seems our peaceful days are coming to an end."

Old Wang's expression also turned unusually serious. He kept stroking his chin and said, "The appearance of this mysterious person is so sudden, it can't be a coincidence. We must be careful."

Lin Feng held Jinzhi's hand tightly, giving her a firm and reassuring look, but he couldn't help feeling a little uneasy: "We just confirmed our feelings for each other, and then this kind of trouble happened. I must protect her."

Xiao Jinzhi looked at Lin Feng, a hint of worry in her eyes, but she still tried to remain calm and said, "Don't panic, everyone, let's think of a solution together."

Lin Yu looked around and said in a deep and powerful voice, "Don't panic yet. Let's analyze this mysterious man's purpose first. He keeps saying we're in trouble, but he won't explain clearly. He's probably trying to intimidate us."

Old Wang nodded vigorously: "That makes sense, but we can't let our guard down. There might be an even bigger conspiracy behind him."

Lin Feng gritted his teeth and said resolutely, "No matter what, we can't just sit here and wait to die."

Just as everyone was discussing countermeasures, a deafening commotion suddenly erupted outside. Everyone rushed out to investigate and saw villagers running around in panic, shouts and cries mingling together.

"Oh no! The monster is coming!" someone shouted at the top of their lungs.

Lin Yu and the others looked in the direction of the sound and saw a group of huge, strange-looking creatures approaching the village menacingly. These monsters were as tall as two or three people, some with ferocious fangs, some covered in sharp spikes, and others with eerie red eyes.

One of the monsters resembled a giant wild boar, but its tusks were like sharp long knives, gleaming with a cold light, and its fur stood up like steel needles; another monster resembled a giant lizard, dragging a long tail with barbs on it, leaving deep marks on the ground with every step it took; and yet another monster looked like a giant bat, with wingspans of five or six meters and claws as sharp as hooks.

They bared their fangs and claws, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Some monsters smashed into villagers' houses, while others grabbed villagers and tore them apart, creating a bloody and chilling scene.

Lin Yu took a deep breath and shouted, "Don't be afraid, everyone! Let's fight these monsters together!"

Everyone picked up their weapons, ready to face this life-or-death battle.

Lin Feng gripped his sword tightly, his gaze fixed firmly on the approaching monster, and silently vowed in his heart: "No matter what, I will protect everyone!"

The battle erupted instantly, and the boar-like monster pounced on Lin Feng. The ground trembled as it ran, and a foul stench billowed from its mouth. Lin Feng dodged to the side, his sword flashing as he slashed at the monster's leg. The monster roared in pain, its tusks lunging at Lin Feng. Lin Feng leaped and dodged nimbly, his forehead already covered in sweat.

On the other side, Lin Yu encountered the enormous lizard monster, as large as an elephant. Each swing of its tail created a whooshing sound, but Lin Yu calmly countered, skillfully dodging its powerful blows while simultaneously seizing the opportunity to stab at the monster's eyes. However, the monster reacted extremely quickly, whipping its head around, and Lin Yu's sword only grazed its hard scales, leaving a trail of sparks.

Old Wang was surrounded by several agile bat monsters. He dodged and weaved, his spear flying in a tight, impenetrable pattern, giving the monsters no opening. But the monsters coordinated perfectly; one distracted Old Wang while another attacked from behind, leaving a deep scratch on his back.

Although Xiao Jinzhi was slightly weaker, she did not back down. Wielding a short sword, she cooperated with Lin Feng. A monster attempted to ambush Lin Feng from behind, but Xiao Jinzhi reacted quickly, stabbing the monster in the abdomen with her sword. However, the monster swung its hand back, knocking Xiao Jinzhi to the ground.

During the battle, Lin Feng gradually figured out the monster's attack pattern. Seizing the opportunity, he leaped up and plunged his sword deep into the monster's throat. Blood splattered, and the monster collapsed to the ground. However, new monsters kept surging in, seemingly endless.

Lin Feng and the others gradually ran out of strength, and their movements became sluggish. But they still gritted their teeth and persisted in fighting.

Lin Feng's arm was accidentally scratched by a monster's claw, and blood stained his sleeve. Little Jinzhi cried out in distress, "Lin Feng, be careful!"

Ignoring his injuries, Lin Feng shouted back, "I'm fine, just be careful!"

Lin Yu was also covered in sweat, with multiple wounds on his body, his clothes stained red with blood. But his eyes remained firm as he roared and fought the monster, putting all his strength into every move.

After a hard-fought and thrilling battle, the group finally defeated the monster. However, everyone was exhausted and collapsed on the ground, with injuries on their bodies.

Lin Yu, panting heavily, said, "This is just the beginning. We must find out the truth behind all of this as soon as possible."
