After successfully crossing the river, the group continued their arduous journey along the rugged road. However, night fell like a giant black curtain, slowly enveloping the land, forcing them to find a suitable place to camp.

The surrounding area was a vast and desolate wilderness, with weeds growing wildly, reaching knee-high, and trees scattered sparsely, resembling silent giants in the night. Lin Yu led everyone to stop in a relatively flat and sheltered spot.

"Let's rest here. Everyone, be careful and on guard," Lin Yu said solemnly, his voice sounding somewhat ethereal in the vast wilderness.

Everyone immediately sprang into action; some began setting up makeshift tents, while others busied themselves collecting firewood to start a fire.

Zhao Ling'er sat on a rock, her arms tightly wrapped around her knees, her gaze fixed blankly into the distance. Her hair was disheveled by the wind, and her delicate face was filled with exhaustion, appearing even more haggard in the dim moonlight.
