When Gu Tingzhou entered the bedroom, Song Wanwan was already asleep on the bed, with half a bowl of soup for sobering up on the bedside table.

Her face was flushed from drinking, as if she hadn't slept soundly; her delicate eyebrows were furrowed, and her breath carried a faint scent of alcohol.

Seeing her like this, and considering tonight's farce, Gu Tingzhou felt his anger slowly spreading.

He pulled Song Wanwan out of bed. "Get up, stop pretending to be asleep!"

Song Wanwan opened her drunken, red eyes in a daze, her gaze hazy and confused.

With her big eyes staring blankly at his dark face for a long time, Song Wanwan's lips suddenly trembled, and tears streamed down her face.

"Gu Tingzhou, why are you so mean to me even in my dreams? You're such a bastard, a complete bastard..."

After saying that, she sadly buried her face in her pillow, her shoulders heaving with sobs.

Gu Tingzhou froze on the spot.

He pulled Song Wanwan up again, pinching her chin with one hand. "Pretend to be drunk, hmm?"

Song Wanwan tilted her head back, tears streaming down her face and into her hair. Her nose twitched, and her eyes remained unfocused and confused.

Gu Tingzhou couldn't tell for a moment whether she was truly drunk or pretending.

He frowned slightly, reached out and wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes, and even his voice wasn't as cold as before, "What did that love letter say?"

Song Wanwan blinked, then raised her fair hand and placed it on Gu Tingzhou's face, looking at him earnestly and adorably.

Tears still clung to her eyelashes, but her expression was filled with joy, as if the person who had just been crying so sadly was no longer there.

Gu Tingzhou frowned and asked, "What exactly did you write?"

Song Wanwan blinked again, as if she remembered something unpleasant. All the joy in her eyes vanished, and she irritably shook off his face and lay down on the bed.

"Anyway, we're getting divorced soon, why are you still asking about that? It won't change anything."

This sight reignited Gu Tingzhou's irritation. "Song Wanwan, isn't this what you wanted me to know? You deliberately interrupted my meal with Su Lina and staged this whole charade with Qin Zijing, just to tell me how much you like me?"

Whether Song Wanwan heard his question clearly or was simply caught up in her own emotions, she curled up from her lying position and her eyes turned red again.

"I don't care at all. Let him like whoever he wants... I'm getting a divorce right away... I don't want him anymore..."

Song Wanwan's words seem incoherent at first glance, but upon reflection, they can be connected.

Gu Tingzhou's deep eyes flickered, and he subconsciously said, "If you don't want a divorce, I can try..."

"Gu Tingzhou is a rotten cucumber!"

Song Wanwan suddenly roared, "Scumbag! Dog of a man! Wait until I get a divorce, and I'll find ten or eight young men without using his money, and have them keep me company every day."

Upon hearing this, Gu Tingzhou's face instantly darkened. He scoffed, realizing he had actually been slightly moved just now. Raising an eyebrow, he said, "You have quite the appetite, wanting to find ten or eight more!"

Song Wanwan couldn't hear a word he was saying; she just hugged her pillow and started sobbing.

"I forgot, Gu Tingzhou only gave me ten million in the divorce settlement. I don't know if that's enough. But my sister has money... a lot of money..."

Gu Tingzhou gave up on communicating with Song Wanwan.

He went into the bathroom, grabbed a towel, wet it, and began to wipe away the tears that had spilled from Song Wanwan's face with less than gentle movements.

Perhaps it was the cold towel that stimulated Song Wanwan, for she trembled, suddenly opened her eyes wide, and reached out to grab Gu Tingzhou's wrist tightly.

Tears still clung to her eyelashes, and her red eyes stared blankly at Gu Tingzhou, sometimes furrowing and sometimes relaxing.

A wicked smile curled at the corners of her lips, and her eyes crinkled into crescents. "Hey handsome, do you want me to be your girlfriend?"

Gu Tingzhou shook off Song Wanwan's hand, gritting his teeth, "How come I remember you having a husband?"

Song Wanwan sat up abruptly on the bed, reached out and hugged Gu Tingzhou's waist, resting her head on his shoulder. "Shh, I'll tell you a secret."

She nestled close to his ear like a meek kitten and whispered, "I'm getting a divorce soon, so I'll be single and can find a boyfriend."

"Let me tell you, my husband is no good. I've never kissed a man before. Do you want to try it with me?"

As she spoke, she began to tug at Gu Tingzhou's clothes.

Gu Tingzhou grabbed her hand, his expression unfriendly. "Look carefully, who am I?"

Song Wanwan blinked her big eyes and stared at him intently. Suddenly, she smiled and said, "You're so handsome. I love every part of you. You can be my boyfriend without worry. I love you."

After saying that, she cupped Gu Tingzhou's face in her hands, slowly moved closer, and, to Gu Tingzhou's astonishment, pressed her lips to his.

With a quick "smack," she moved away again, letting out a soft laugh. "So this is what a kiss feels like."

"Song Wanwan!"

Gu Tingzhou was so angry he almost ground his teeth to powder. "Are you pretending to be crazy because you're drunk?"

Song Wanwan seemed tired and reached out to cover Gu Tingzhou's mouth. "Shh! Don't talk. You look like Gu Tingzhou when you're being fierce. I don't like that."

After saying that, she closed her eyes, exhausted, and collapsed against his waist and abdomen, saying, "You'll sleep with me..."

Gu Tingzhou gently shook Song Wanwan in his arms. She was breathing evenly, and her hand was still inside his clothes, touching his abs. "Hehe, that's nice!"

Gu Tingzhou gritted his teeth again, "Song Wanwan, don't let me find out you're faking being drunk!"

Song Wanwan was awakened by thirst. She closed her eyes and reached out to touch the bed.

Her hand touched something slightly hard and warm. She touched it instinctively; it was smooth and movable.

"What's gotten into you so early in the morning?"

The hoarse voice that rang in her ears startled Song Wanwan so much that she sat up abruptly.

She then realized that Gu Tingzhou was sleeping next to her.

He was sleeping facing her, wearing pajamas, his pale arms exposed.

So, what she touched that was movable was his... Adam's apple?

Gu Tingzhou frowned and opened his eyes, only to see Song Wanwan staring at him in a daze.

"You're always pretending to be crazy or acting stupid, can't you do anything else?"

Song Wanwan snapped out of her daze, her gaze lingering on Gu Tingzhou's lips for a second as she recalled a certain scene.

She glanced at him, ignored him, and got off the bed.

Gu Tingzhou also sat up in bed. "Do you remember what you did last night?"

Song Wanwan feigned composure and said calmly, "I drank too much and don't remember anything. Starting tonight, let's not sleep in the same bed."

Gu Tingzhou said coldly, "Do you think I care about sleeping in the same bed with you? Who was it that hugged me last night and wanted to sleep with me?"

Song Wanwan's face flushed slightly. Remembering that she had kissed Gu Tingzhou, she said mockingly, "Who told you to wake me up last night? You made a fool of yourself."

Gu Tingzhou gave her a cold look. "Song Wanwan, you change your tune so quickly!"

After saying that, Gu Tingzhou walked to the bathroom with a sullen face.
