Bai Li pulled Song Wanwan aside and said, "You're really going?"

Song Wanwan calmly replied, "You can see whoever you want to see right here. I'll be fine."

No sooner had Song Wanwan stepped out of the private room than Qin Zijin followed her, glancing back at her.

"What, you're going to come with me?"

Qin Zijing said dismissively, "Who's following you? This restaurant is owned by my family. Can't I, as the owner, go and say hello?"

Song Wanwan chuckled, "Sure, why not?"

She had intended to find an excuse to leave, since the class reunion was mostly with classmates she wasn't very familiar with. However, she didn't expect that Qin Zijing, that annoying person, would insist on following her.

She had no choice but to bite the bullet and go down to the private room.

Qin Zijin was familiar with the place, so she walked to the door of the private room first.

She knocked on the door first, then pushed it open but didn't let go of the handle, blocking Song Wanwan behind her.

Song Wanwan was amused by her little scheme. She really was just like when she was in school, not very bright. No wonder Gu Tingzhou didn't like her.

Qin Zijing glanced around at the group of people, then fixed her gaze on the handsome and noble man in the main seat. She smiled sweetly and said, "Brother Tingzhou, I'm Qin Zijing. Do you still remember me? I was one of your biggest fans back then."

The people inside were visibly taken aback when they saw Qin Zijing at the door, completely bewildered by her.

Gu Tingzhou was even worse; he had absolutely no recollection of Qin Zijing. The aloofness between him and Qin Zijing was almost palpable, and his gaze was indifferent and profound, as if Qin Zijing had never existed. He was quite annoyed by her sudden appearance.

Huo Beichen reacted quickly, smiling as he said, "Ah, I know you, Qin Ziyan's sister. You and Song Wanwan even fought once because of the boss, right?"

Qin Zijing gave an awkward laugh, "Why is that the only thing you remember?"

Song Wanwan wanted to dig a hole and crawl into it. Following an idiot like that would lower her IQ.

She reached out and pulled Qin Zijing's hand, which was leaning against the door frame, and gestured with her eyes for her to let her in.

Qin Zijing blocked the door to prevent her from going in first, but Song Wanwan pushed her hard, saying, "Get out of the way, a good dog doesn't block the way."

Qin Zijing staggered, steadied herself by holding onto the door, and said fiercely, "Song Wanwan, what are you so arrogant about? What makes you so proud of yourself?"

Huo Beichen clicked his tongue and frowned, saying, "Boss, the other party involved has arrived as well."

Gu Tingzhou already knew what was going on when Song Wanwan spoke, and coldly replied, "I'm not blind."

Song Wanwan ignored the gazes of others and walked straight to Gu Tingzhou's side, her gaze sweeping over him.

He said to Su Lina in a cold and distant tone, "Excuse me, Ms. Su, could you please make me a seat? I need to sit with my husband."

When Gu Tingzhou heard Song Wanwan call him "husband," he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, sensing that some familiar scene was about to unfold.

Su Lina smiled gently and innocently, and said, "Of course, Wanwan, you sit next to Tingzhou."

As he spoke, he took his own bowl and chopsticks and moved them to the side.

When Qin Zijing saw Song Wanwan sitting next to Gu Tingzhou, she went over to Huo Beichen and said ingratiatingly, "Brother Huo, could you give me your seat? I also want to sit next to Brother Tingzhou. My brother and you are good brothers. Please grant me this small wish."

Huo Beichen, with a "let's see what happens" attitude, moved to a different seat since he was eating with a group of people he knew.

Qin Zijing smiled gratefully at him.

It's true what they say, three women make a drama, and they've all gathered together today. This is going to be quite a show.

Gu Tingzhou glanced coldly at Huo Beicheng and glared at him.

Song Wanwan thought Qin Zijing was incredibly shameless and said, "Qin Zijing, we didn't invite you to eat together, how can you sit down?"

Qin Zijing glared at her and said with a smile, "I'll treat you to dinner tonight, consider it my treat for Brother Tingzhou."

Song Wanwan chuckled and said without any politeness, "Is that so? Although my husband is not short of money, if someone is offering to pay for the meal, then I won't be polite."

She then asked the waiter to bring the menu, added several of the most expensive dishes, and ordered two bottles of the most expensive red wine.

Caught in the middle, watching the back-and-forth between the two, Gu Tingzhou felt a headache coming on.

He looked at Song Wanwan and asked in a low voice, "How did you know I was here?"

Song Wanwan turned her head to look at him, but did not answer his question. Instead, she smiled and said to the others, "You guys continue your business. Just pretend I don't exist."

Gu Tingzhou scoffed. "You really want to be invisible? What are you doing here?"

Su Lina smiled gently and said, "Wanwan, we're just a few old friends getting together, don't overthink it. We didn't talk about anything, just that we're going to the company in Beicheng next week to try out for a role."

Song Wanwan understood perfectly well that all he wanted was to rely on Gu Tingzhou and Huo Beichen to break into the film and television industry, so why would she overthink it?

In his previous life, Gu Tingzhou poured a lot of resources and money into Su Lina, pushing her to the position of a rising star.

In this life, because she no longer pursued Gu Tingzhou relentlessly, and Gu Tingzhou behaved himself and did not do anything impulsive, their relationship did not heat up, but Gu Tingzhou's feelings for Su Lina were still special.

Before Song Wanwan could speak, Qin Zijin asked in surprise, "Miss Su, you're older than me, aren't you? You're only now starting to act? Isn't that too late?"

Song Wanwan chuckled inwardly, enjoying the spectacle as she watched, propping her chin up with her hand.

Su Lina blushed and said weakly, "I just returned to China recently. I was originally going to work in the music industry, but I want to try my hand at the film and television industry."

Qin Zijing said "Oh," and added, "The film and television industry is the most complicated. My dad says that all the good daughters in the world want to get in there. The wealthy families look down on actors the most."

Song Wanwan choked on the water she had just drunk and started coughing. Gu Tingzhou gave her a cold look, his brows furrowed.

She calmed herself down and silently applauded Qin Zijing in her heart. Qin Zijing was too outspoken, especially with Gu Tingzhou sitting right there.

Su Lina's eyes immediately reddened, filled with tears, and she looked aggrieved.

Qin Zijing said with an innocent look, "Am I wrong?"

Song Wanwan thought Qin Zijin was absolutely right, and she suddenly found Qin Zijin quite adorable.

Huo Beichen interrupted at the opportune moment, "Zijin, are you on the school's cheerleading team? I think I saw you guys cheering for us."

Qin Zijing said, "Yes, Song Wanwan and I are both cheerleaders, right?"

Song Wanwan responded with a faint "yes".

"However, Song Wanwan, you were really a coward back then. You liked Gu Tingzhou, so why were you afraid of what others would say?"

Song Wanwan glared at her fiercely, really wanting to gag her with something; she really never holds back her shocking remarks.

Huo Beichen asked with a gossipy look, "Haven't she always liked him?"
