Su Ling's Time Travel

"Aren't you the base's patrol team? How come you can't even handle a small monster?" Su Ling couldn't help but mock. Her tone was tinged with dissatisfaction and contempt. She believed that these people, as the base's patrol team, should have stronger abilities and more refined swordsmanship.

Xiao Yutong frowned slightly upon hearing this; she didn't like Su Ling's attitude. However, she didn't react, but simply said coldly, "Although we are the base's patrol team, we are not omnipotent. This little monster clearly has unusual abilities; we need to work together to defeat it."

Su Ling's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this; she knew Xiao Yutong was right. This little monster did indeed possess extraordinary abilities, otherwise it wouldn't have been so troublesome for them. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, and then said, "Okay, let's work together to defeat it."

With everyone's combined efforts, the monster was finally defeated. Its body lay on the ground, no longer displaying its previous ferocity and cunning. Xiao Yutong and the others breathed a sigh of relief; they knew that they were able to defeat the monster thanks to Su Ling's help.

"Thank you for your help." Xiao Yutong nodded slightly to Su Ling to express her gratitude. "You said you were a survivor? Would you like to join our base? We can provide you with shelter and assistance."

Upon hearing this, Su Ling's heart stirred. She knew that joining the base might be a good choice. At least there she could get protection and help, instead of struggling to survive alone in this apocalyptic world like she was now.

“Okay, I’m willing to join your base.” She smiled slightly and expressed her willingness to Xiao Yutong and the others. “But I have one condition: I need to become stronger so I can protect myself and the people around me.”

Xiao Yutong smiled slightly upon hearing this. She knew that Su Ling was a woman with a firm will and determination. She believed that after joining the base, Su Ling would definitely become an outstanding soldier and contribute her strength to the base's security and peace.

“Okay, we welcome you to our base.” She extended her right hand to Su Ling in a sincere invitation. “Let’s fight together for survival and peace!”

The night was as dark as ink, the moon and stars hidden, and the apocalyptic wind, carrying a biting chill, raged across the desolate land. Su Ling, a woman whose soul had transmigrated to this post-apocalyptic world due to a car accident, had been struggling to survive in this wasteland for over a few months. That day, she was controlling a small monster in a fierce battle against zombies. She controlled the small monsters, constantly battling the zombies, striving for precision and effectiveness with every attack.

During the battle, Su Ling discovered that the zombies contained a mysterious crystal core. This crystal core contained immense power, which was key to enhancing her supernatural abilities. Therefore, she began consciously collecting these crystal cores, carefully searching the bodies of each zombie she killed.

As time went on, the monster's strength gradually increased under Su Ling's control. Each swing of its sword became more ferocious, each attack more accurate. Su Ling also felt her own abilities gradually strengthening; she knew this was the power granted to her by the crystal core.

However, at that moment, Xiao Yutong and her companions suddenly appeared. Dressed in ancient costumes and wielding long swords, they fought a desperate battle against the zombies. However, the number of zombies was simply too great, and although their strength was considerable, they suffered heavy losses.

Xiao Yutong wielded a longsword, its blade flashing like lightning, each swing slaying several zombies. Yet, her eyes betrayed exhaustion and despair. She knew that if this continued, they would eventually be devoured by the zombies.

Just then, she saw Su Ling. She saw Su Ling controlling a small monster fighting zombies, and she saw the determination and calmness in Su Ling's eyes. A surge of anger welled up in her heart, believing that Su Ling's appearance was the cause of their predicament.

"Su Ling! What are you doing here? Why aren't you helping us?" Xiao Yutong roared, her voice filled with exhaustion and anger.

Su Ling was slightly taken aback upon hearing this; she hadn't expected Xiao Yutong to be so angry with her. She controlled the little monster to deflect the attacks of several zombies, then turned to look at Xiao Yutong and the others.

"I'm collecting crystal cores to increase my strength," she said calmly. "There are too many zombies; I need more power to protect myself."

"You're such a selfish bastard!" Xiao Yutong cursed angrily. "You knew we were fighting zombies here, but instead of helping us, you were collecting crystal cores to enhance your own strength! Do you know that it's because of your appearance that we're in this predicament!"
