Su Ling's Time Travel
Chapter 16 Survivors
In the silence of time, Su Ling once again stepped into that forgotten ruin. Like a hunter, she meticulously and attentively searched every inch of land, every hidden corner, all to unravel the mystery of the blue, viscous liquid. The labyrinth within the ruins seemed to be her stage for exploring the unknown, while the murals and symbols were the codes she used to decipher the past.
Finally, after countless twists and turns, Su Ling discovered a crucial clue in a hidden chamber. On the ancient mural, a mysterious ritual and strange creatures intertwined, seemingly telling the secret of a blue, viscous liquid. She stared intently at the mural, trying to uncover more of the truth.
However, just as she was immersed in the world of the murals, a soft footstep broke the silence. Su Ling quickly regained her composure, quietly slipping into the shadows, her eyes flashing with vigilance. She saw a figure slowly approaching, and the face made her heart tighten—it was Yu Hao!
Anger and hatred surged within Su Ling. She hated Yu Hao's betrayal, and even more so, his ruthlessness. She clenched her fists, bracing herself for a confrontation with Yu Hao. However, Yu Hao suddenly stopped, looked around, and seemed to sense something amiss. He frowned and shouted, "Su Ling! I know you're not dead! Come out! Let's talk!"
Su Ling emerged from the shadows, her gaze cold and resolute. She looked at Yu Hao, a mocking smile playing on her lips: "Yu Hao, you traitor! How dare you show your face before me? Do you think I'll let you get away with this?"
The moment Yu Hao saw Su Ling, his expression changed drastically. He brandished the dagger in his hand and charged towards Su Ling: "You idiot! You're still alive! Then you can't be allowed to live!"
However, Su Ling was not afraid at all. She felt a powerful force surging within her, as if making her invincible. She sneered and met Yu Hao's attack head-on; a breathtaking duel was about to unfold. She nimbly dodged Yu Hao's sudden attack, then the branch in her hand transformed into a sharp sword, rushing towards Yu Hao, accompanied by her resolute voice: "Yu Hao, you traitor of the past! You still fantasize that I am that weak woman you can bully? Listen carefully, I have transformed, and you and I are no longer the same as before!"
Upon hearing this, Yu Hao's expression changed drastically. He deeply felt the sharpness and unstoppable force of Su Ling's attack, as if even the air itself was being torn apart by this power. He tried to break free, but found himself bound by invisible chains, unable to move. Fear and despair surged into his heart like a tide, and he realized that today might be his end.
“Su Ling…you…how can you be so powerful…” Yu Hao gasped, his voice filled with shock and resentment. He knew he was powerless to change the outcome and could only watch helplessly as the scales of victory tipped in Su Ling’s favor.
Su Ling stared into Yu Hao's terrified eyes, a long-lost sense of pleasure welling up inside her. She could finally punish this traitor with her own hands; this power and confidence filled her with immense satisfaction. "Yu Hao, your betrayal is etched in my memory. But today, I am not the same as before. I am strong enough to crush you!" Her words were cold and resolute. She swung the branch in her hand again, and Yu Hao fell to the ground, utterly powerless to resist.
Yu Hao's eyes were filled with despair and resentment. He knew that his defeat was inevitable and he could no longer escape Su Ling's punishment. He struggled to get up, but found that he was already at his limit and could only let fate take its course.
After defeating Yu Hao, Su Ling didn't rush to leave. She still had unfinished business—finding Xiao Yutong, exposing her true colors, and making her pay for her actions. At the same time, the mystery of the mysterious ruins and the enigma of the blue, viscous liquid also troubled her; she had to continue exploring and searching for answers.
Thus, Su Ling embarked on a journey to find Xiao Yutong. She traversed the labyrinthine ruins, leaving her footprints at every turn and through every passage. However, Xiao Yutong seemed to have already vanished into these ancient ruins. Su Ling did not lose heart; she firmly believed that as long as she didn't give up, she would one day find the truth and expose all evil. Although Xiao Yutong's whereabouts remained a mystery, Su Ling's determination was as firm as a rock, unwavering. The storm of apocalypse continued to rage across this desolate land, carrying endless gloom and misfortune.
Su Ling, the once gentle and tender girl, has now transformed into a resilient warrior. She traversed desolate ruins alone, enduring wind, frost, rain, and snow, finally arriving at the base that had once given her warmth and peace. However, when she stepped across that familiar threshold, the scene before her astonished her.
This place was no longer the home she remembered. The warmth and harmony of the past were gone, replaced by desolation and ruin. An indescribable sorrow welled up in her heart, but she knew she could not succumb to despair. She had to face it all with strength, for what she had lost, and for what was yet to come.
