Su Ling's Time Travel
Chapter 13 The Power of the Coniferous Forest Awakens
However, just as they were about to cross the coniferous forest, a sudden gust of wind made it sway precariously. Su Ling and the little monkey stopped in their tracks, nervously looking around. The pine trees seemed to be drawn by some force, beginning to shake violently, their needles falling like raindrops, turning the earth into an eerie green.
"No! Retreat!" Su Ling shouted, knowing full well that this unusual situation was definitely not a good thing. However, it was too late. The pine trees seemed to have lost control, falling one after another, engulfing Su Ling, the little monkey, and the little monster in a green sea.
Su Ling felt a tremendous force slam her to the ground. She struggled to get up, but found that her body was pinned down by several huge needle-like leaves, making it impossible for her to move. She looked towards the direction of the little monkey and the little monster, and saw that they were also pinned down by the needle-like leaves, their faces showing pain.
"Little monkey, little monster, how are you?" Su Ling called out with difficulty, her voice sounding particularly weak in the coniferous forest.
The little monkey and the little monster struggled to respond to Su Ling's calls, their voices equally weak. Su Ling knew that if they continued like this, they would likely be crushed to death by the needles. She gritted her teeth, trying to use her special abilities to break free from the needles' grasp.
However, at that moment, an even stronger gust of wind swept in, causing the coniferous forest to shake violently. Su Ling felt her body being violently lifted up by a tremendous force, and then slammed hard to the ground. She felt a sharp pain, and then lost consciousness.
When Su Ling woke up again, she found herself outside the coniferous forest. She struggled to sit up and looked around. She saw the little monkey and the little monster lying not far away, clearly unconscious as well. She took a deep breath, trying to recall what had happened.
However, just then, a commotion broke through Su Ling's reverie. She turned her head and saw Yu Hao rushing over with the others. When they saw Su Ling had woken up, they all gathered around her, asking about her condition with concern.
Su Ling shook her head and briefly recounted what had happened to Yu Hao. Upon hearing this, Yu Hao frowned and looked towards the coniferous forest, a hint of worry flashing in his eyes: "It seems this coniferous forest is much more dangerous than we imagined. We must be careful."
Su Ling nodded, knowing that Yu Hao's worries were not unfounded. She looked in the direction of the little monkey and the little monster, only to see them still unconscious, and a nameless anger welled up in her heart. She vowed to find out the secret of this coniferous forest and avenge the little monkey and the little monster.
Just then, a gentle breeze blew by, dispersing the green mist in the coniferous forest. To Su Ling's surprise, the fallen conifers began to writhe in a strange way, as if they were alive. They exchanged bewildered glances, a sense of foreboding rising within them.
"It seems that this coniferous forest hides some unknown danger," Yu Hao said in a deep voice, his tone tinged with seriousness. "We must be careful, or we may all die here."
Upon hearing this, Su Ling and the others nodded in agreement. They knew that the apocalypse was full of unknowns and dangers, and only by being cautious could they survive. They began to observe their surroundings more vigilantly, trying to find any hidden dangers.
However, at that moment, an even stronger gust of wind swept in, causing the coniferous forest to shake violently. Su Ling and the others felt a tremendous force lift them up and then slam them to the ground. They struggled to get up, but found that their bodies seemed to be bound by some force, and they could not move at all.
"What's going on? Why can't we move?" the little monkey cried out in terror, his voice filled with despair.
Su Ling struggled to break free of the restraints, but she discovered that she couldn't even use her powers. A nameless fear welled up inside her; she knew they had likely fallen into some unknown trap. She looked in Yu Hao's direction and saw that he was also bound, his face showing terror.
"Yu Hao, what should we do?" Su Ling called out with difficulty, her voice trembling slightly. She knew that if they continued like this, they would probably all die here.
Yu Hao struggled to respond to Su Ling's calls, his voice equally weak: "I don't know... but we have to find a way to break free from this restraint... otherwise we'll all die here..."
The winds of the apocalypse, carrying an ominous aura, swept across the desolate land. On this forgotten land, Su Ling lay quietly in the cold coniferous forest, as if she had bid farewell to this world forever. Her body was covered in a viscous blue liquid, which shimmered eerily in the post-apocalyptic sunlight, as if telling some untold secret.
