Captain, your ship has exploded again.

Chapter 7 Ripley, the Super Nanny

Back in the control room, Zhang Xun saw Hudson firing wildly. He grabbed Hudson and tried to retreat into the tunnel, but the ground suddenly caved in. Zhang Xun threw his rifle into the pit to prevent Hudson from being killed.

Hudson looked down in horror, took a step back, and frantically fired downwards. Zhang Xun knew something was wrong and quickly retreated. The wounded alien thrashed about, splattering blood onto half of Hudson's body. Although he had killed the alien, he had also been seriously injured.

No zuo no die (a Chinese internet slang term meaning "if you don't do stupid things, you won't die"). If Hudson had been more lucid, he wouldn't have been injured. Now, another member of our fighting force has been reduced.

"Hicks! You take Hudson and Ripley and go first. Here, take this. It's a highlighter to leave marks along the way." Zhang Xun grabbed Hicks and ordered.

Turning around, he saw the six Marines lying in the control room and cursed under his breath, "Another half gone. I wonder how much their bonuses will be reduced when they get back."

“Genet, William, retreat! Follow the marker pen marks through the pipes.”

After Zhang Xun called out to the two men, he turned and entered the ventilation duct, retreating by following the marks left by the marker pen.

As I walked, I saw Jennet providing the final cover. This girl is really fierce! Is it because her boyfriend Mark died?

I can't risk saving someone twice, especially since it only happens once! That would cost so much per month! It can't be that bad!

After walking a few steps, I heard the sound of a gun behind me. Well, if I didn't go back, William and that tiger girl would be doomed. After checking the shotgun ammunition, I turned back and saw the two of them hugging each other.

They opened fire on the alien in front of them. Luckily, it wasn't on their escape route, or they would have had to abandon the two of them.

"Stop, I'm not in the mood for dog food right now."

He stepped over the two people, fired two shots at the alien behind him, and pulled a rope from his bulletproof vest and tied it to Janet.

Such an obedient soldier, don't give up on saving him if you can, otherwise there will be one more person than normal, and it will be so embarrassing when the settlement is made!

"Here you go, Janet. William, you take the pistol." Zhang Xun gave the shotgun and bullets to Janet, and the pistol to William.

"What about you?"

"Who told you that Lao Liu only has one secondary weapon?"

He then took out another pistol from his back. When preparing for battle, Zhang Xun carried two pistols, a rifle, and a shotgun. He would have liked to carry more if they weren't so heavy.

"Let's go! You two retreat. William, stop huddling together and trying to take advantage of us. Help us move along."

The two men and one disabled person scrambled to their feet in the ventilation duct, fearing for their lives.

“There are too many behind us, we can’t get out of here,” William shouted.

"Then give them the grenades you have, and throw them far away."

"Fire in the hole."

Zhang Xun and his group hadn't run far when the explosion happened. Janet already had a leg injury, and this time she was burned and covered in soot.

"MD should never have trusted you, the electronic officer!"

Zhang Xun tied Janet to his back, dragged the stunned Lieutenant William along, and continued their escape.

After Zhang Xun caught up with Ripley, he saw them shouting down and blurted out, "What are you doing?"

"Rebecca has been captured down there."

Zhang Xun sighed and said, "Stop looking! They must have taken them to the processing plant. Let's go out first."

"We're out of weapons and ammunition now. We'll wait for the bishop's airdrop ship to arrive; it has weapons on board. Then we'll go rescue him."

The group of six people helped each other and quickly made their way to the elevator. When the doors opened, they found that the elevator was not very spacious and it was a bit cramped for the six of them to get in.

At this moment, Zhang Xun sighed again, "Luckily, I didn't save too many people. If there had been more, it would have been another disaster." He then entered the elevator and quickly pressed the button.

Zhang Xun took off his Hicks body armor and took the rifle because he knew there was another alien here. As for why he didn't take off his own? When had he ever seen Lao Liu sacrifice himself?

Just as the doors were closing, an alien blocked them and slapped William across the face.

Zhang Xun quickly used his bulletproof vest to block the door gap and fired. The blood splattered from the alien inevitably injured Hicks. Fortunately, the bulletproof vest blocked most of the splatter, but he still suffered extensive burns.

Feeding a single person with PDA in front of them is something that will bring retribution if you try to help them.

The people were rescued, but one of the three injured had a concussion! Looking at William, who was clearly showing signs of a concussion, Zhang Xun was heartbroken. He didn't know whether to count by the number of people or by fate, but the six of them couldn't even make a table for a mahjong game.

William barely managed to help everyone board the airdrop ship before fainting as well. After finding emergency medicine and treating all the wounded, Zhang Xun saw Ripley preparing weapons.

"Have you decided to go save that girl?"

“I lost my child, I can’t lose another one.”

Lei, the super nanny, makes her debut.

Zhang Xun grabbed a rifle and carried as many grenades as possible. He didn't want the Queen to board the warship and then face it again; he was already tired of the thing and was terrified of it.

“Hicks, don’t let him get away,” Ripley warned.

"We're not going anywhere."

Zhang Xun watched as the dog immediately went downstairs, even feeding it dog food before leaving—he was afraid the puppy would go hungry! He patted his own bottom and stood downstairs waiting.

After Ripley disembarked from the spaceship, they took an elevator down to the alien mother nest. Following the signal, the two carefully arrived at the location of the signal source. Upon seeing the watch on the ground, Ripley was heartbroken.

Just then, a scream was heard, and Ripley immediately ran towards the sound. Meanwhile, Zhang Xun was installing a remote-controlled bomb to prevent being ambushed during the retreat.

Zhang Xun saw Ripley running away and called out softly, "Wait for me, I don't know the way."

Upon catching up and seeing that Rebecca had been rescued, the three immediately began to retreat. After only a few steps, they realized that they had arrived at the Queen's spawning chamber.

Zhang Xun looked at the exaggerated bone armor, the two huge arms and the pair of forearms tucked in front of the chest. This size was not like the one in the movie at all. He wondered if the rifle in his hand could penetrate the bone armor.

The queen's guards slowly emerged from the shadows of the wall; they were much larger than the aliens they had seen before.

Ripley defiantly brandished her flamethrower and aimed it at the alien eggs, while Zhang Xun aimed his grenade at the queen's enormous oviposition organ.

With a roar, the queen dismissed her bodyguards and turned to look at the three men.

Ripley and Zhang Xun slowly retreated. They glanced at each other, Ripley set fire to the insect eggs, while Zhang Xun threw a grenade towards the guard's position and fired at the Queen.

With most of the bullets bouncing off, the rifle's power was insufficient to kill the queen.

Zhang Xun decisively fired a grenade that hit the egg-laying organ, attempting to kill the Queen through the back door using shrapnel, and threw out a large number of grenades.

Ripley threw out her ammunition and added fuel to the fire, and the two fought their way out of the hatchery.

A loud bang signaled that the incubation chamber had been razed to the ground.

After running a few steps, Zhang Xun heard a huge roar behind him, realizing that the queen was not dead, and chased after her.

He pulled the remote control out of his pocket and ran to the elevator with Ripley, immediately pressing the button.

The three people on the elevator watched as the Queen burst out of the passage amidst the explosion, then headbutted the elevator door, knocking all three of them down.

"You still haven't died? You've gotten stronger! Does the biological world even have a place for you anymore?!"

Zhang Xun raised his hand and threw out all the remaining grenades through the crack. Amid the explosions and the Queen's roar, the elevator slowly rose.

Zhang Xun, now lying down, finally relaxed a bit; this last queen was truly difficult to kill.

When they were almost at the end, Zhang Xun heard a lot of metal collapsing beneath his feet. He didn't pay any attention to it, since the processing plant was about to collapse.

After the three went outside, they did not see the airdrop ship.

Ripley shouted, "No, Bishop, you deserve to die!"

Just as Zhang Xun was about to say something, he felt something climbing up from another elevator shaft behind him.

Zhang Xun peered over and saw that the Queen's head armor was broken and her exoskeleton was shattered. Although she wasn't bleeding much, she was covered in wounds and was climbing upwards.

"Holy crap! Is there a cockroach in your family's genes?!"
