"Your protection only prevents effect disruption, but it won't prevent combat disruption!" Raphael waved his hand, and Guardian-Aetos charged towards Dragon Knight-Black Magician.

The two clashed. The Guardian - Ethos struck the Dragon Knight - Dark Magician with a sword, while the Dragon Knight - Dark Magician countered with a magical wave. Both were reduced to fragments.

“If ‘Guardian Aetos’ is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to your Graveyard, you can activate this effect. Special Summon this card from your hand.” Raphael took Guardian Aetos from his hand: “When this card is successfully Special Summoned, you can activate this effect. Equip 1 ‘Death's Scythe - Soulbreaker’ from your Deck to this card.”

Guardian Desceth: 2500-3000-5000

"I activate the effect of Eternal Soul, reviving the Dragon Knight - Dark Magician in the Graveyard in Attack Position! Since it counts as Dark Magician both on the field and in the Graveyard!" Yami Yugi commanded, and Eternal Soul lit up briefly. Dark Magician reappeared on the field riding a blue dragon.

"I'm going to force out your Eternal Soul effect! Tribute your Dragoon - Dark Magician to Special Summon Satan (1200/2500) in Defense Position! This is a summon, not an effect destruction, so it will succeed."

The dragon knight-dark magician on the Yami Yugi field transformed into a red-winged demon, turning to mock Yami Yugi.

Raphael drew another card: "Magic Card: Storm! Destroy all Spell & Trap Cards on the field!"

A hurricane swept across the field, destroying all the spell and trap cards on Yami Yugi's field.

"If this face-up card leaves the field, activate your Eternal Soul effect. Destroy all monsters you control. So your Satan is destroyed too!"

"It seems you've made thorough preparations." A bead of cold sweat trickled down Dark Game's back.

“That’s for sure, otherwise I really wouldn’t be confident of defeating you.” Raphael looked at the empty Dark Game: “End of round.”

Raphael's hand: 1

"A monster with 5000 attack power, how am I supposed to beat that?" Jonouchi looked at Raphael's monster with some helplessness.

"There's definitely a way with the game; this little thing won't stump him." Seto Kaiba crossed his arms, not in a hurry.

"My turn, draw!" Yami Yugi glanced at his hand and immediately face-down: "Summon a monster in face-down defense position. End of turn!"

Dark Game Hand: 0

"My turn, draw!" Raphael glanced at the drawn card and activated it immediately: "Bitter Choice, a spell card! I choose five cards, you choose one to add to my hand, and the rest are sent to the graveyard."

Raphael immediately took out five monsters. Yami Yugi chose Guardian Bao, and sent the rest to the graveyard.

"I can't summon monsters because of the Guardian - Desceth! But all four monsters were sent to the Graveyard, and its ATK increased by 2000 points!"

Guardian - Desceth: 5000 - 7000

"Stop, Raphael! Your monster is crying!" Yami Yugi couldn't stand it anymore and directly reminded Raphael.

"You taught me that if it's for victory, they can sacrifice themselves for me temporarily," Raphael said stubbornly, though heartbroken.

"What if this victory is meaningless?" Li Youming's voice rang out from behind the crowd, drawing everyone's attention.

"Bakura, you're back!" Honda hugged Li Youming tightly. "What happened that made you come back so late?"

"I'm helping you deal with the mobs," Li Youming said helplessly. "Otherwise, how could you fight just the three Orichalcos? You'd be too busy just clearing out the mobs."

"Thank you for your hard work, Bakura," Jonouchi said, coming up to comfort him.

"It's alright, I also benefited a little from it." Li Youming rubbed his nose, not going into details.

"You said victory is meaningless, what do you mean?" Raphael looked at Li Youming behind him.

“You joined Dorma to repay Daz for saving your life, right?” Li Youming said to himself, “But it was Daz who sank the cruise ship you were on. His goal was to recruit you as his subordinate.”

"What???" Raphael was shocked by this information; he couldn't believe what Li Youming was saying.

"This is the usual practice of the Doma Organization. You were rescued by a cruise ship, Amandal was killed by missiles that destroyed tanks and killed relatives, and the blame was placed on the Seahorse Company. Baron was sent to thugs to smash up the orphanage."

Li Youming continued, "You've been doing things in Doma for so long, you must have done your fair share of framing and then co-opting others. Otherwise, why do you think Doma has so much power to stir up trouble?"

"..." Raphael had largely believed Li Youming's words. Although he didn't know about his own affairs, he knew a little about Baron and Amander's situation. He just hadn't mentioned it in front of them.

“Yugi!” Raphael turned to Yami Yugi: “My deck, and now there’s nothing I can do to change this situation. Victory is in your hands! Guardian - Desceths attacks a face-down monster!”

The Guardian, Desceth, raised his massive scythe and sent the covered monster directly into the graveyard.

Raphael looked at his guardian, Aetos, who had become so ugly, and tears streamed down his face. He couldn't believe how ridiculous his persistence had been. And now, there was nothing he could do to change it.

"Game, please. My turn is over."

“Leave it to me!” Yami Yugi looked at his deck, then at Raphael, who was looking at him with pleading eyes. Both the deck and the graveyard shone brightly.

"My turn, draw!" Yami Yugi drew a card and immediately activated: "Spell Card: Divine Blessing! Both players draw six cards from their hands!"

Yami Yugi and Raphael simultaneously replenished their hands, and Yami Yugi immediately activated his next card: "Spell Card, Angel's Charity, draw three cards and discard two!"

Dark Game drew three cards: Osiris the Sky Dragon, Monster Reborn, and Magnet Warrior Electromagnetic God.

After sending Osiris's Sky Dragon and Magnet Warrior Electromagnetic Warrior to the Graveyard, Yami Yugi activated his next card: "Activate the Quick-Play Spell Card Cyclone! Destroy Death's Great Scythe - Soul Breaker!"

Guardian - Desceth: 7000 - 3000

"The spell card 'Resurrect the Dead' allows you to discard one card from your hand and return Timaeus to your hand! (This card isn't considered a spell card in the anime, so let's not dwell on that for now.)"

Lightning flashed and thunder roared in the sky, seemingly in sync with Yami Yugi's card. "Spell Card: Monster Resurrection! Revive the god of the underworld, Osiris the Sky Dragon, from the graveyard!"

A huge red dragon flew through the clouds, its two-mouthed head looking at Raphael.

"Activate the Nameless Dragon Timaeus! Fusion with the Sky Dragon of Osiris! Special Summon! True God, Lord of the Underworld, Sky Dragon!"
