Yang Chu glared at Jiang Lai and said, "I won't fall for your tricks. Ever since you knew I was still a virgin, you've been lusting after me. Don't think I can't see it."

Jiang Lai said with a mischievous smile, "What's wrong? Are you afraid you won't be able to control yourself? It's okay, I'm a very nice person! I won't make you take responsibility."

Jiang Lai's mischievous smile and teasing words were really hard for Yang Chu to handle.

After arriving in the room, Yang Chu picked up a bucket of instant noodles and asked Jiang Lai, "Do you want some? If so, I'll make you a bucket too?"

Jiang Lai was looking around Yang Chu's room when she heard Yang Chu's question. She nodded and said, "Let's make a tub of water. I'm a little hungry too."

Jiang Lai saw Yang Chu making instant noodles. It was a book on safe driving. Jiang Lai picked it up, flipped through it a couple of times, and said, "You really just got your driver's license today?"

Yang Chu glanced at Jiang Lai and said, "Yeah! What's there to lie to you about?"

"Don't you have a driver's license in the US?"

"Please, young lady, a US driver's license is a US license, and a domestic license is a domestic license; they are not interchangeable. You don't even know that?!"

Jiang Lai tossed the book aside and said, "Do you think I'm the kind of person who would care about those things?"

Yang Chu chuckled self-deprecatingly and said, "Ha! Yes! How could a rich young lady like you possibly care about these things?"

After Yang Chu finished speaking, he placed two bowls of instant noodles on the dining table.

Seeing that Yang Chu had already prepared instant noodles, Jiang Lai walked to the dining table, sat down, and said, "By the way, what's your name?"

Jiang Lai's voice was somewhat seductive and alluring, making Yang Chu's mind wander.

However, Yang Chu quickly calmed down, rolled his eyes at Jiang Lai, and said, "Why do I feel like he's so sleazy?"

"Damn! You really are a straight man."

Yang Chu's answer infuriated Jiang Lai so much that she refused to eat instant noodles.

Yang Chu chuckled and shook his head, saying, "It really is quite sleazy! I'm not bad-looking, am I? I've been staying in hotels for over a month, so my financial situation should be pretty good, right? Finding a girlfriend shouldn't be difficult, right? Why can't I just find one?"

Jiang Lai was taken aback by Yang Chu's question and stared at him, asking, "You really don't have any feelings for me?"

Yang Chu was amused by Jiang Lai's question.

"No, what do you mean? You didn't come to the hotel with me just to try and have something happen, did you?"

Jiang Lai felt a little embarrassed by Yang Chu's question, and her face flushed slightly as she said, "What are you thinking! I just think you're funny, don't overthink it! I'm going to take a shower."

After Jiang Lai entered the bathroom, Yang Chu swallowed the instant noodles in his mouth, sighed, and muttered to himself, "What on earth is going on? Shouldn't we be courting disaster at this stage? This situation is completely wrong!"

After thinking for a while, Yang Chu still couldn't figure it out, so he stopped thinking about it. After slurping up his instant noodles, he glanced at Jiang Lai's instant noodles and shouted, "Are you going to eat your instant noodles or not? If you're not, I'm going to clean them up."
