It hurts so much!

After many twists and turns, Sharp collapsed into a spread-eagle position under the shade of a tree, the scent of earth and grass filling his nostrils. He had never seen such a blue sky before; how long had it been since he felt so at peace? The city was cold and incomprehensible, and he was just a piece of the puzzle within it.

Sharp didn't want to think about where the false god had randomly placed him again. There were countless suspicious points about that guy, although he really wanted him to help him max out his skill tree...

I moved my lower back slightly, but the pain persisted, and I doubted it would get better anytime soon.

Huh? Why are there water droplets dripping from my lips? Only after noticing the traces of water on both sides of his lips did he notice a leaf curled into a funnel shape on the grass about a body length away. Could it be that someone came to give him water? Thinking this, he subconsciously stuck out his tongue and licked the corner of his mouth, feeling a sweet taste spread through his mouth.

With all his might, he struggled to support himself with his hands, then slowly leaned against the tree trunk behind him. This unusual tree grew alone on a small hill far from the forest, surrounded by all sorts of wild grasses he couldn't name, like a green velvet carpet tightly enveloping it. From a distance, it had a unique charm.

Looking around, no buildings with obvious signs of human activity were found, but the lush, vibrant wildflowers in front of me were truly breathtaking. They seemed to be displaying the resilience and beauty of life in this barren land, captivating me completely.

Where exactly is this place? I've never seen this place before in the shows "Boonie Bears." He tried to recall the initial scene, but found that the two were so different and didn't match up at all.

"rustle--"

Suddenly, a series of light but hurried footsteps came from behind the tree. Sharp immediately became alert, but pretended to be unconscious, keeping his eyes tightly closed, leaving only a narrow slit, and quietly watching the surrounding movements.

As the sound grew closer, the gentle thud of something heavy being placed on the ground could be heard. Then, a blurry yet familiar figure gradually came into view. Due to the obstructed view, the face couldn't be clearly seen immediately, but judging from the build, Sharp estimated the person to be around 1.7 meters tall.

The man slowly crouched down and reached out a hand to Sharp, gently touching his forehead. Just then, a hazy sensation washed over him, and a bright red flashed in Sharp's vision—it was a red ribbon tied around his forehead! Wait…this scene seems familiar! Sharp thought to himself.

Once his vision cleared up a bit, he was finally able to see the woman in front of him clearly: her face was painted with exquisite and unique patterns, obviously painted with some kind of special pigment; she was wearing a soft shawl made of suede, and her bangs were decorated with red threads strung with colorful beads.

"Isn't this the pretty girl who saved my life on the other side of the battlefield just now?!" Sharp exclaimed involuntarily. Recalling their brilliant performance of perfect teamwork and coordination, which successfully executed the feint attack, Sharp was so excited that he couldn't help but open his previously closed eyes.

"..."

Upon seeing him awake, disbelief clearly crossed the girl's beautiful eyes. She blinked her large, bright eyes and stared at Sharp. Time seemed to freeze at that moment, and an awkward, suffocating atmosphere filled the room.

"Um... hello..." Finally, unable to bear the eerie silence any longer, Sharp forced himself to speak, trying to break the almost deadly silence before him. However, to his surprise, the girl didn't respond at all, but instead focused her attention on his wounds.

"Are you alright?" the girl asked softly, her tone revealing genuine concern. Faced with such sudden and direct concern, Sharp was somewhat at a loss. "I'm...I'm fine," he stammered, but only he knew in his heart that the current situation was far more complex than simply "fine."

Just then, the girl spoke again: "But just now over there, I saw you being bounced away by the energy. Did you hurt your back?" Hearing this, Sharp inwardly groaned. So she had seen through everything all along... Why had he been so stubborn? Sharp, you idiot!

"It...it should be fine. Look, I got up by myself." Sharp said, enduring the sharp pain in his lower back, and bent over slightly to prove he was alright. However, this movement seemed to trigger a pain switch, and a piercing pain shot through his spine and spread throughout his body, instantly making him break out in a cold sweat.

"Ah!" Sharp couldn't help but gasp softly, but then he clenched his teeth tightly, afraid that he would lose face by crying out in pain. This stubborn guy would rather endure the pain than show weakness in front of a girl.

Seeing Sharp's face contorted in pain, the girl frowned slightly, a pang of pity rising in her heart. She gently put down the heavy quiver and longbow from her back, then turned around and crouched down with her back to him.

"Bear with it, I'll carry you back." The girl's voice was clear and firm, as if it contained boundless strength. Hearing this, Sharp's eyes widened, hardly believing his ears. Could such a good thing really happen to him? Despite some doubts, the excruciating pain in his body made it impossible for him to refuse, and he could only obediently lie on the girl's thin back.

However, when the girl stood up, Sharp was surprised to find that her seemingly petite frame possessed the strength of a powerful athlete. Recalling how she had lifted him up with one hand not long ago, Sharp was secretly amazed. Before he knew it, he had developed a strong interest in this mysterious girl.

As he approached the girl, a faint, sweet fragrance wafted towards him—the alluring scent emanating from her hair. This fragrance, like a clear spring, was refreshing and intoxicating, leaving Sharp feeling momentarily captivated. He involuntarily lowered his head, his gaze falling on the girl's snow-white skin, and suddenly, some indescribable scenes flashed through his mind. Realizing his thoughts were somewhat lewd, Sharp quickly cursed himself inwardly, "Pah, how could I be so perverted!"

After a moment of self-reproach, Sharp tried to calm himself down and mustered the courage to ask, "May I ask your name, young lady?" The girl seemed unperturbed by his abruptness and smiled as she replied, "Naya." The name was as melodious as heavenly music, yet for some reason, Sharp felt a sense of déjà vu.

He suddenly remembered the times he and his older sister had fallen asleep and snored while watching Boonie Bears in the movie theater...

This is retribution, this is retribution.

“Sharp, 'Xia' as in summer, 'Pu' as in ordinary.” His voice unconsciously lowered, as if he was a little embarrassed to mention his rather ordinary name in front of others. However, Naya, who was beside him, chuckled softly.

"Does this name have anything to do with summer?" She looked up, her gaze fixed on the blazing sun high in the azure sky.

“Perhaps…” Sharp murmured in response, his gaze involuntarily drawn to Naya’s earlobes. There hung a pair of meticulously crafted animal tooth earrings, radiating a simple yet captivating luster. My God, she looked like an angel descended to earth!

Sunlight streamed down on them, illuminating their faces. In that moment, time seemed to stand still, and the world consisted only of the two of them.
