Boonie Bears: Another World Fantasy

The last chapter of chapter 15?

"They want to overthrow your throne!"

"Cut your hair~"

"They tied you to a chair~"

"Your lips are saying you have to do this~"

The girl resolutely wiped away her tears and pushed aside the bushes blocking her way.

"Naya—Naya—"

What exactly happened behind the scenes?

After struggling to crawl out of the flower bud, Sharp suddenly got lost. Looking around at the dark jungle, he felt a little afraid.

"But right now, all you want to do is play one melody~"

"Let's all be happy because of this~"

The shawl, a symbol of heavy burdens, was discarded to the side, and the girl felt relaxed at this moment.

“Waaaaaaaaaaaa——”

While groping forward, Sharp's foot unfortunately got caught in a Venus flytrap on the ground, and no matter how hard he pulled, it was no use.

"Let's shake off this depression, sing a song, and play the guitar~"

You're the one who makes us laugh out loud!

At the end of the woods, the view suddenly opened up to a sunken basin. Around the basin, crooked deer antlers were stuck into the black soil.

The collapsed Lumu altar is right there.

The massive stone platform had long since collapsed, the rubble was covered with moss, and the ground was riddled with unclosed cracks, some horizontal and some vertical.

But her eyes were filled with tears, her heart hidden deep within.

"If you are cheerful and straightforward, please don't be sad~"

"We've never truly understood you all these years."

Since the day the golden antlers disappeared, Naya has come here almost every few days.

Now, this once sacred place has become a scene of desolation and ruin. Waist-high weeds grow wildly, devouring everything that symbolizes life.

Following the worn path to its end, she came to the tombstone.

"The Tomb of Na Ling".

These words seemed etched into her bleeding heart. Beside her lay bunches of withered flowers, witnessing each of Naya's visits.

This time, however, she was heartbroken.

......

"Naya?!"

He didn't know how far he had walked, how many times he had called her name into the air, but Sharp remained silent. Leaning on his cane, he walked slowly, cautiously surveying his surroundings as he entered the dark forest. The Enchanted Forest was too vast; he didn't know where she had gone, and this arduous search was pointless. Sharp hadn't intended to deliberately anger her; he simply hadn't realized the profound impact those events would have on Naya.

The pain in my lumbar spine gradually intensified and became more and more severe...

"Phew—" He found a relatively bright spot to sit down, scratching his head in frustration.

Sharp's long hair obscured his dejected face as he began to recount how he had initially gotten there.

An accident? A coincidence?

Now, he is in the dream he has been longing for day and night.

But he was still helpless in the face of difficulties.

"If it were Xia Jie, what would she do?"

Sharp was stuck in a dead end, unable to move the plot forward, completely clueless about the story, and utterly terrible at socializing. He had none of the things other time travelers should have! He grumbled as he looked at the conch shell that Naya had dropped when she left. The pure white shell was carved with intricate patterns, showing the care and attention put into its creation.

The girl's sweet smile is etched in my mind.

Although he had only known Naya for a few days, the inexplicable sense of familiarity he felt upon first meeting her still lingered in Sharp's mind.

"What would I do if it were me?"

After calming down, he finally stopped his internal turmoil, and the pain in his back eased considerably...

I can't stop, I have to find her, and then—

Explain it to her clearly.

"Crack!"

Suddenly, the sound of a tree branch snapping came from behind me.

Sharp got goosebumps and quickly looked behind him.

A pair of enormous forelimbs emerged from the nearby bushes, displaying an eerie orange-yellow hue. The creature's long, duck-like beak rummaged through the ground for something edible.

"Holy crap—"

He didn't even bother to take his crutch and continued crawling into the woods.

Oh no, Naya's not here, that thing will definitely use me as a giant animal fodder...

A giant platypus with green whiskers on its back happened to pass by. It had heard every sound Sharp made along the way and, out of curiosity, came running. As the platypus drew closer and closer to his hiding place, he covered his mouth and forced himself to swallow the extra noises in his throat.

Get out of here!

Sharp cried out in his heart, powerless.

As if it had heard him, the platypus turned and moved toward him.

I f***ing...

I shouldn't have come out...

The scene now resembled an old movie he had once seen—Jurassic Park. Today, he was personally experiencing the tension of having a giant beast right in his face.

"Gurgle, gurgle." The platypus was only a step away from him, and Sharp could even smell a scent of pineapple mixed with cantaloupe on it.

What kind of animal is this?

He closed his eyes and kept praying that it was vegetarian.

However, the scene of being swallowed whole as imagined did not occur. The platypus opened its eyes and looked Sharp up and down.

He squinted, staring blankly at it.

"Hey, human, did you see the melon that just fell off me?"

"?"

It just spoke?

He shook his head in terror, at the same frequency as shaking a rattle drum.

"What a coward." The platypus didn't want to talk to him, offered no explanation, and walked away, shaking its head.

Remembering that Naya had once used it as a mount, Sharp quickly called out to it.

"Since you can talk, have you seen where your master went?"

"Master?" It wagged its tail, just like a dog.

"It's that girl who's very skilled and has excellent archery..." he tried his best to describe her to it.

Did you make her angry?

Before Sharp could finish speaking, the platypus had already roughly guessed the whole story, which Sharp found unbelievable.

"You have a sharp tongue and said some things you shouldn't have."

"Heh, you outsiders..." Its tone was laced with sarcasm. "If you don't understand her, don't say such strange things."

Then, the platypus raised its left forelimb and pointed in the direction where the forest was gradually thinning.

“Naya goes to Deer Valley when she’s unhappy. You can still go now.” After saying that, it went off into the depths of the forest on its own.

“Oh, right, haven’t I seen you somewhere before…” it asked.

"Maybe so. I look too ordinary, I don't have any special features..."

Sharp leaned against the tree trunk and struggled to his feet, his legs feeling weak. Just those few movements had already caused beads of sweat to appear on his forehead.

Get up, Sharp, you're not so easily defeated.

That's what he was thinking.

……

The highest point of the entire forest is covered with ice and snow all year round.

It is this extreme cold that isolates the entire fantasy forest here, or rather, it is a form of protection, allowing this beautiful fairyland to remain away from outside interference.

At this moment, the man sitting on the large chunk of ice was gazing down, somewhat mesmerized. The lonely moon hanging high in the sky cast a cold, clear light, and the chill inadvertently ruffled his long, all-white hair, revealing the striking scars hidden among his strands.

"Is there any news about the Golden Antlers?" He turned to look at the figure in black robes beside him, his tone filled with urgency and anticipation.

The man in black robes lowered his head slightly and replied in a low voice, "No... I've personally inspected the Deer Altar. The scene was chaotic, and the golden antlers aren't there."

After a moment of silence, the man's eyes suddenly sharpened, revealing a hint of ferocity.

“Impossible, Na Ling has absolutely no ability to take the Golden Antlers away.” He clenched his fists tightly, seemingly trying to suppress his inner rage.

The man in black robes shook his head slightly and said firmly, "Na Ling is indeed not here."

Upon hearing this, the man became even more agitated. He suddenly swung his fist, shattering the incredibly hard ice spikes behind him into countless fragments that scattered on the ground. His eyes widened in fury as he glared at the black-robed figure before him, demanding sharply, "If that's the case, then why did you bring me to this place?"

Faced with the man's questioning, the woman in black knew she could no longer hide the truth. So she took a deep breath and decided to stop beating around the bush and tell him everything she had just witnessed.

"I've found Na Ling's sister..." The black-robed man's voice was calm and steady, but the amount of information contained within it sent a shiver down the man's spine.

Then she continued, "And there's another stranger who doesn't seem to belong to our world..."
