Night fell, the room was quiet and slightly cool.

After tossing and turning for a while, Schimerlin still couldn't fall asleep.

In the past two years, as Shu Xiangyu's popularity has soared, many fans have made a special trip to the Qizhou Courtyard to take photos.

When she finally gets a break, she can only eat out with her family and stay in hotels.

It's already a rare privilege to have the opportunity to be so close to her.

She should cherish the present moment, because such opportunities will be few and far between in the future.

Thinking of this, she turned over and got up.

But negative thoughts soon crept into his mind. If he slept next to her, it might upset her. He decided against it and decided to sleep on the sofa, as it would be more comfortable.

Around 7 a.m., the sky was bright and the sun was shining like spring. The five people packed their luggage and were taken to Luotongshe by a private car driver in a business van.

In the past, you could catch up on sleep along the way.

Old Yao sat in the passenger seat, Yang Pu and Nie Chaojun sat in the middle, and Shu Xiangyu and Xi Molin sat in the back, each on one side.

We will stop frequently along the way to take scenic photos and aerial shots, which will take up a lot of time.

Except for a short section of expressway, the entire route is almost entirely a winding national highway. The road, built along the mountainside, is not wide, but the scenery along the way is quite beautiful.

At noon, we stopped at a local villager's home and enjoyed a meal featuring local specialties.

It was nearly evening when they arrived in Badi Township.

The five drowsy people got off the bus. It was drizzling outside, the air was exceptionally fresh and humid, and the temperature had dropped considerably.

The altitude here is over 1,800 meters, while the final destination is close to 4,500 meters.

The conditions here are limited and cannot compare to the luxury of a big hotel, so we found the best hotel and booked three standard rooms.

Xi Molin continued to live with Shu Xiangyu, which also protected her safety.

The driver and Lao Yao stayed together, while Yang Pu and Nie Chaojun stayed together.

After dinner, everyone decided to go back to their rooms to rest. After a whole day of driving, it was a miracle if they didn't get carsick.

When Shu Xiangyu was about to wash her hair and take a shower, Xi Molin told her to just take a quick shower and not wash her hair.

Tomorrow we're going to a high-altitude area where the temperature is low. Washing your hair there can easily cause a cold, and you'll not only have a terrible headache, but it could also be life-threatening. She shared this common knowledge with the others.

Shu Xiangyu sat on the edge of the bed, seemingly still hesitating.

"You've been to many places in the past two years..."

Schimerling was packing things for tomorrow, including a tent, sleeping bags, and food.

She was a little surprised to hear her ask her question. After a long silence, she calmly replied, "Yes, I went to many remote places with an outdoor expedition team."

"So you know a lot of things to be careful about outdoors."

"Learn and accumulate knowledge as you go."

"fine…"

She got up and went to the bathroom, took a quick shower, but didn't wash her hair.

Schimerling wasn't as particular as her; she didn't even take a shower. She had also lacked common sense in the past, which resulted in her suffering terribly at high altitudes. As the saying goes, once bitten, twice shy.

They turned off the lights and lay down, each in their own bed.

Schimerlin no longer has to sleep on the sofa, which makes him feel exceptionally comfortable.

It was still quiet outside, with the occasional sound of raindrops, which brought a sense of peace and tranquility.

As sleepiness crept in, they still had little to say to each other.

When I woke up, it was already seven o'clock.

After packing his luggage and putting on his gear, Xi Molin called out to Shu Xiangyu just before leaving.

She half-squatted in front of her and tucked her exposed shoelaces into her shoes.

"When hiking outdoors, the grass is thick and your shoelaces are exposed, making them easy to get caught. Doing this can prevent you from falling."

Shu Xiangyu looked down at her thoughtfulness and felt a little uncomfortable.

"Thanks…"

"If you feel unwell on the road, speak up immediately. Don't push yourself. If you experience altitude sickness, you'll need to stop, use supplemental oxygen, and rest. As a guest on the show, you'll also be talking non-stop, which is very physically demanding..."

Schimerling told her about things she needed to pay special attention to. She didn't mind if Schimerling ignored her, but she was afraid that if something happened, she would still pretend not to know.

"Well, I see."

Shu Xiangyu responded calmly.

It's only ten kilometers from Badi Township to Luotong Village, but the road is slippery, so you can't drive too fast.

After breakfast, we arrived at Luotongshe Village in no time.

The area is at an altitude of over 2,200 meters and is mostly inhabited by Tibetans. The population is small, about 200 people.

The sky was overcast and gloomy, and it was drizzling. The roads were muddy and slippery.

According to local custom, one must hire a local villager as a guide when going up the mountain. This not only brings income to the villagers but also ensures that they are familiar with the environment and prevents accidents.

The local guide and rented mules that Lao Yao had arranged were already waiting for them at the medicinal herb base.

Now the five people need to take a village car to the medicinal herb base.

This section of the route is entirely uphill and dirt road, taking more than half an hour by car and more than three hours on foot.

They were all wearing windproof and waterproof jackets, carrying outdoor hiking gear, and most importantly, they wore waterproof and slip-resistant shoes. The heavier items, such as tents, would be carried up by mules later.

As we drove along the road, the cliffs rose higher and higher, and the muddy road became increasingly treacherous. When we were almost there, our wheels got stuck in the mud and we couldn't move.

They had no choice but to get off the bus and continue walking uphill, each carrying a lot of things, and soon began to pant heavily.

Yang Pu and Nie Chaojun continued recording videos, which from now on almost entirely revolved around Shu Xiangyu and the surrounding environment.

Shu Xiangyu wore a fisherman's hat, and under the brim, her unadorned features were pure and refined. An outdoor microphone was placed in her collar, which could clearly record her voice. Her explanation of the place was based entirely on the draft she had read in advance and her own understanding.

Lao Yao was standing beside him, but he wasn't in the frame.

Wearing a navy cowboy hat and a black windproof mask, revealing only his clear eyes, Schimerin slowly followed behind the group.

Upon arriving at the medicinal herb base, Lao Yao discussed the upcoming itinerary with the guide.

The others chatted briefly with the elderly man who lived alone, and were even invited by him to come into his very simple wooden hut to warm themselves by the fire.

The interior was smoky and blackened by years of fire, and the wooden planks were almost all dark brown. Firewood was piled up in the middle of the room, and a kettle was hanging on it, boiling water.

The elderly man mainly makes a living by herding cattle here, and various medicinal herbs are planted on the hillside next to him.

They talked about ethnicity, medicinal herbs, the weather, and ancient legends about the place…

After resting, the heavy loads were tied to the mules' backs, and the guide led the way.

They followed behind and continued recording.

Now we're heading to the First Ranch. This section of the road is the most difficult dirt road. To save time, the guide takes us along hidden paths and across rotten log bridges.

The deeper you go, the taller and more majestic the trees become; it is almost entirely a primeval forest rarely visited by humans.

Compared to the more famous Antarctic Rock, this place receives far fewer tourists.

They kept climbing slopes and crossing ditches, their feet treading on muddy paths, their breathing sometimes rapid and sometimes slow. The scenery before them was quite pleasant, the air exceptionally fresh and crisp, and they could almost smell the fragrance of grass and trees.

Schimerling remained at the very back, taking photos from time to time and keeping a close eye on the movements of someone ahead of her.
