"And I just want to raise a kitten, Mom, please grant my wish." Lin Yue couldn't resist Xia Rongliu's coaxing and made a few conditions: "You're the one who wants to raise this cat, so the cat's nest will be in your own room, and you'll have to clean up any messes the cat makes."

Lin Yue took Xia Rongliu's hand. "Let's go. Your father will probably be back soon. I'll go cook. You can play by yourself in the front room." Xia Rongliu nodded and went off on her own.

Upon entering the front room, Xia Rong saw her mother sitting in the center, with Aunt Wang beside her. Xia Rong's eyebrows twitched, but she still smiled and walked over, sweetly calling out, "Grandma, Great-Aunt."
