[One hour later...]

Noelle found the principal's address within 30 minutes.

The main reason is that the principal is quite well-known in the elite district, which gives him the qualifications to work in the noble and royal district or even become the principal.

Many people envied him and tried to curry favor with him; even the newspapers scattered on the ground contained articles about the principal.

The main content is basically about successful people, high IQs, and all sorts of positive information, with absolutely no scandals.

Soon, I saw the principal's address in a newspaper: Block 4, Shin-i Estate.

The principal lives in a manor, neither too big nor too small. It is said that he bought it by saving up little by little through his work.

Noelle noted down the address and returned.

Reed left these guys several blocks behind, then, taking advantage of a turn, climbed onto the roof and ran away.

Fearing the installation of tracking magic, Reed remained on the defensive and evasive throughout the journey.

Noelle felt a pang of guilt looking at Reed's various wounds.

"You're badly injured...why don't we treat your wounds first?"

Reed ignored her, casually brushed the blood off his clothes, and took out a map from his pocket to show Noelle.

"Has the location been found?"

Noelle was relieved to see that Reed seemed alright. "Found it, put your finger on it..."

Reed placed his finger on it, and Noelle directed its movement.

When Reid moved to a point

"Stop! Okay, this is it, this is Principal [Dasabi Chushengtongxi]'s home."

Reid? "His name is so long, and it sounds like an insult."

Noel ( ??e?? ) "What can I do? The author just gave him a name!"

Red (?˙ー˙?) "You've broken the fourth wall again!"

Let's get back to the main topic!

Reed: "So when do we leave?"

Noelle thought for a moment and then asked, "Where did you lead those people?"

Reed: "I don't know, but I think it's pretty far away."

Noel: "This isn't far from Principal Dasabi Chushengtongxi's house. Reed, with your speed, you'll get here."

Reed said, "It's a long way around, I might not remember."

Noelle: "I'll take command. Act quickly."

Noelle had already memorized the map's route; a strong memory is also a necessary condition for a top student.

Reed picked Noelle up, and Noelle began to give orders.

"Run forward"

"Run to the left after that corner."

"There are a lot of people on the right side, be careful not to bump into them."

"Then go up..."

Thanks to Reed's speed, the two quickly reached their destination.

The two stood in front of the iron gate of the manor, noticing that there were no security guards in front of them.

Looking through the iron fence, the manor appeared very empty; there wasn't even a chair or a flowerpot.

Noelle looked at the empty manor with some displeasure. "That place could have been used to put a pot of rosemary, but there isn't a single flower."

Reed also felt it was too spacious; even the manor of the mayor he had killed had several stone statues.

There were no gardeners or decorations; had it not been for this location, the two would have thought the estate wasn't yet for sale.

Reed took out his broadsword, walked forward, and chopped off the large lock on the gate with a single blow.

Noelle kicked the door open and followed.

The moment Reed stepped into the manor, the front door of the house was suddenly pushed open.

"That's Redner! Ranged attack!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than several men armed with muskets and staffs rushed out and attacked Reid in front of him.

Reed picked up his broadsword to block some of the attacks, and took the rest with his bare body.

Reed called to Noelle behind him, "Get out of the way, move aside."

Noelle hesitated, wanting to say something but holding back. Every time danger arose, Reed was the one who took the lead, which made Noelle feel uneasy.

But the situation was urgent, so Noelle nodded and ran out of the manor.

Reed swiftly raised his sword to block the next attack, and then looked up.

I noticed that these people were dressed differently; they were all wearing the same clothes.

I'm wearing those durable, waterproof, and fire-resistant leather boots.

They all wore black trousers and trench coats.

A necklace hung around her neck, and she wore dark glasses and a black mask, obscuring her face.

Aside from their different hairstyles, their outfits are exactly the same!

Reed began, "Just because you're dressed differently, does that mean you're stronger?"

One of them tightened his trench coat. "It's pointless. Let's start the war."

[Start Battle]

[Outlaw VS SA?4011]

[A flash of black light] Reed quickly stepped forward, raised his sword, and struck an enemy.

The enemy was cleaved in two, just as the corpse was about to fall.

Suddenly two people appeared, each holding half of the corpse and throwing it at Reed.

Caught off guard, Red was thrown and reached out to shove aside the corpse blocking his view.

[A - Horizontal Slash] The enemy gripped his black longsword and slashed horizontally at Reed.

Reed punched his opponent hard in the face with one hand, causing the enemy to stumble back several steps, clutching his face.

[A-gunfire] Enemies behind him raise their muskets, interfering with Reed's attempt to take advantage of the situation.

Reed raised his sword to block the attack and then slashed the enemy next to him to death.

[Spell A] The enemy raised his staff, and several blue orbs of light shot towards Reid.

Reed managed to block some of the damage, but he was still injured.

[Feather blade facing upwards] Reed grips the greatsword with both hands and lowers it, then quickly raises it when the enemy is in front of him.

The enemy was flung backward by the suddenly raised broadsword, and was also split in two.

The flying corpse crashed into a ranged enemy in the back row.

[A - Horizontal Slash] The enemy gripped the knife tightly with both hands and slashed horizontally at Reed's waist.

Feeling the pain, Reed grabbed the enemy's knife with his other hand, pulled the man in front of him, and threw a punch.

The enemy's face was distorted by the blows. Reed forcefully snatched the knife from the enemy, turned it around, and stabbed it into the enemy's eye!

[A Last Strike] The enemy screamed in pain, his hands trembling as he pulled the longsword from his eye and threw it at Reed.

Reed easily dodged the attack, and the enemy fell to the ground...

[Agile Dodge] The next round of ranged attacks is coming, and Reed dodges some of them.

Reed blocked the other part with his knife.

[A flash of black light] Slashes down a melee enemy, Reed charges towards the back row.

Seeing Reed charging towards him, the ranged enemy quickly drew a bayonet from his waist and mounted it on his musket.

Reed stepped forward and cut down two ranged attackers, blocking some bayonet attacks.

[A-Bayonet] The bayonet on the enemy's musket pierced Reid's back.

Reed swiftly turned and cleaved the enemy's upper and lower body in two.

[Final Strike] The enemy, now only his upper body remaining, gripped his musket with trembling hands, and with difficulty, pulled the trigger one last time.

The sudden shot hit Reed, who kicked the other man aside.

[A - Dagger Stab] Because Reed was too close, the enemy wielding the staff took out the gray dagger from his waist and stabbed Reed.

Reed hadn't expected his opponent to have a dagger, and kicked him away.

He then pulled the dagger from his shoulder and threw it forcefully at one of the people.

In the ensuing battle, Reed, after understanding the attackers' attack methods, quickly dealt with them.

【End of battle】

Reed looked at the new wounds on his body, covered his head, and sighed.

These men were even stronger than the elite soldiers, but their defenses seemed weak, as they weren't wearing any armor.

Of course, even with armor, Reed can still one-shot you.

Reid remarked, "These people seem to have no fear of death. Even when they're about to die, they don't scream for help or run away; instead, they give the enemy one last blow."

Moreover, these people basically didn't shout or yell, nor did they use any foul language during the fight.

The battle was unusually quiet, save for the sounds of gunfire, magic, and the clash of swords.

Besides screaming uncontrollably after suffering great harm.

And these people calmly threw their companions' corpses at Reid.

Their equipment wasn't as good as the soldiers', but their attitude was far better.

Reed was certain these people were not soldiers, nor did they look like mercenaries, so who were they?
