Chapter 100 [Sin 1] [Bounty Hunter: Cold Frost]

Reed gripped his broadsword tightly, holding it in front of him. Yes, he spotted someone dressed differently among the group of men in trench coats.

He wore a hooded top, a purple-black dress, and sock boots; his entire outfit was purple-black.

The other person was a young girl, but he was holding a scythe that was much larger than her.

She easily picked up the black and purple scythe; the blade of the scythe was enormous.

He appeared cold and ruthless, exuding an imposing aura, and his body emanated a purple aura.

Reed didn't recognize the man, but the man was determined to be with the group of men in trench coats!

Just as Reed was about to strike first, a red gas suddenly emanated from around him.

Reed looked toward the source of the gas and saw it was the dead headmaster, his body emitting a plume of red smoke.

The red smoke spread over Red's body, and then gradually seeped into his body.

But Reed found that he hadn't changed at all, and Reed saw that the other side had more people.

Just as Reid was about to remind Noelle that they should leave, the girl wielding a scythe rushed towards them.

Reed quickly raised his knife to parry.

"Thud!" The purple scythe blade clashed with Reid's greatsword.

Red saw the other person's face; the other person's face wasn't covered by anything.

White hair, purple eyes, a calm face, otherwise expressionless.

Reed forcefully pushed his opponent away and returned the blow with a backhand.

The opponent dodged the attack to the side, and then the other men in trench coats swarmed in.

[A - Horizontal Slash] The man in the trench coat circled around to the back and slashed Reed in the back.

Reed quickly turned and killed his opponent, then drove back the others.

The man in the trench coat behind slowed his pace because of his companion's body.

[The Soul of the Scythe] The girl suddenly appeared behind Reed, raising her scythe and stabbing him.

The massive scythe tip pierced Reid's armor, and then the girl gripped the scythe with both hands and swung it to the right.

The girl threw Reed, who was partially impaled in her body, against the wall. Reed, still hanging on the scythe, was thrown against the wall.

Seeing this, the other men in black swarmed forward. The girl stood still, watching the smoke rising from the wall after the impact.

In the instant the man in the trench coat approached, Reed's large knife suddenly pierced through one of the men's heads.

Reed then swiftly slashed horizontally, forcing the man in the trench coat back.

Noelle, who was standing to the side, also snapped out of her daze and looked at the chaotic scene before her.

Noelle hurriedly stood up, looking around for Reid.

The instant Noelle turned left, she met the gaze of the girl standing beside her.

Noelle was startled and instinctively took a step back.

The girl stared at Noelle for a moment, then suddenly lunged forward and reached out to grab her.

Just as Noel was about to be grabbed, the girl suddenly pulled her hand back.

He then gripped the sides of the scythe with both hands to block Reed's sudden attack.

The girl looked behind Reed in disbelief and saw that the group of men in trench coats had already been killed by Reed.

Reed sheathed his knife and then slashed again, knocking the girl to her knees.

The girl instantly slashed her scythe to the left, the tip of the blade piercing into Reed's thigh.

Reed had no choice but to knock the other away, then retreated to Noelle's side.

Reed could clearly sense that his opponent was breathing heavily, which meant that his opponent wasn't stronger than him.

Reid planned to press his advantage and eliminate the enemy first, but Noelle overheard this, and then footsteps and voices came from downstairs.

"Hurry! Noel and Redner are up there!" The person shouting was a man in a trench coat, but one of the lenses on his sunglasses was broken.

His blue eyes were revealed, and he held his black longsword, half of which was broken, in his right hand.

He was the man in the trench coat who hadn't died after Red threw him aside. He came out, alerted his companions, and then returned.

His forehead was wrapped in bandages as he returned to the battlefield.

Noelle knew that if this dragged on, the number of people would only increase, and these people seemed completely unafraid of Reid.

Even Reed had moments when his stamina was exhausted, and there was a woman of considerable strength in front of him!

Noel quickly stepped in front of Reid to block him, saying urgently, "We have to leave! If we drag this out any longer, more and more people will come!"

"This has already caused quite a commotion, and those who have been eyeing the bounty will probably come over! And there's no guarantee that no one else will show up!"

Reed, however, was somewhat indignant and pushed Noelle aside, saying, "So you want me to let this person go?"

Noelle quickly said, "If that's the case, there will be more and more people! Let's run! The footsteps below are getting closer and closer."

Noelle frantically urged Reid to run away, and yes, it was indeed a good idea.

If Reed had chosen to kill the opponent, the opponent might not have died, since reinforcements were on their way.

These men in trench coats are indeed difficult to deal with; even if they're dead, they'll still leave you with a stab wound.

Red also had several wounds on his body, and his condition was very poor.

My health has dropped to half, and after swinging my sword so many times, my hand is starting to feel a little numb and tired.

Although Reed was unwilling, he had no choice but to choose this method, after all, survival was the most important thing.

Reed pulled Noelle up with his left arm, then elbowed the glass beside him.

Red smashed the glass, and the two of them fell down together.

The man in the trench coat, carrying a weapon, also came up the stairs. He looked around and saw that the girl was alone.

"Where are Noelle and Redner?"

"Look at the window! They jumped out and ran away!"

"Dr. Dassabi is dead! Damn it!"

"Hey! 068! Didn't you say those two were here?"

The "068" mentioned by the man in the trench coat is the blue-eyed man in the trench coat who is holding a broken knife.

One of the lenses on his sunglasses shattered, revealing his blue eyes.

068 also looked puzzled, gripping his dagger and looking around. "I heard a noise, they're right here!"

But the man in the trench coat standing to the side clearly didn't believe 068's words.

In the midst of the commotion, the girl spoke up: "Jump down and run!"

The girl's voice was completely devoid of emotion, showing neither anger nor disappointment, as she calmly gazed out the window.

068 adjusted his sunglasses and saw the girl standing in front of him, looking out the window.

068 didn't seem to recognize the girl and asked, "Hey, who are you?"

068's teammate explained, "She's Leng Shuang, our superior. How could you not know that?"

"Heh, this means this kid was sent here as cannon fodder, and even his superiors don't know."

068 didn't know Cold Frost; he was simply assigned to a team to hunt down Reid.

Then, out of nowhere, I encountered Cold Frost.

068 scratched his bandaged head, then ignored the warnings from those around him and approached Leng Shuang.

"Oh... hello Cold Frost, my name is Pasde! For convenience, I'll call myself 068 now!"

Cold Frost did not respond...

068 continued, "Let's press our advantage! They don't look well at all! Once we catch them, we can collect the bounty!"

The moment 068 said, "We can get the bounty..."

Leng Shuang suddenly spoke, her tone extremely cold, her purple eyes filled with murderous intent: "That's my bounty. Remember your place; you're not qualified."

068 was startled and quickly took a step back to hide to the side.

After staring at 068 for a while, Leng Shuang turned and walked down the stairs, then said, "For now, we won't pursue it."

068 only stood up again after seeing Leng Shuang leave, and his companion said to him...

"You were asking for trouble just now. You're such a clueless newbie; you'd better stay away from her."

"Don't be fooled by her looks, quiet demeanor, and easygoing personality; she's actually a selfish and self-serving piece of trash."

"That's not just anyone, it's...that...! Never mind, I won't say anymore, it'll be terrible if she hears me."

068 followed the group down the stairs.

068 began to recall the scene he had just witnessed.

(Human? But she has long ears... I can't be mistaken, right?)
