Farming in the Magical World

Chapter 7 Moving Back to the Bedroom

"Young Master, Young Master..."

A voice gently sounded in his ear, interrupting his thoughts.

Frank walked in at some point and was bending down to whisper in his ear.

He glanced at the old butler, then wearily closed his eyes again and slumped back in his chair. He still had no clue why the experiment had failed.

Seeing Lanny's tired expression, Frank hesitated for a moment before finally asking, "Young Master, will you be sleeping in the study again tonight?"

Hearing this, Lanny looked at Frank with some confusion, wondering why the butler was suddenly concerned about where he was sleeping.

Two months ago, taking advantage of his serious injuries, he insisted on moving from the bedroom to the study.

The reason was that he was worried Tiffany would touch his wound at night, and besides, he was covered in blood at the time, which was indeed inconvenient.

But the real reason was that he was worried that the wife of the original owner would find out something was amiss, after all, she was the person he shared his bed with day and night.

However, he soon realized he had been thinking too much. His nominal wife, Tiffany, had only been married to his predecessor for a short time. On their wedding night, for unknown reasons, they slept in separate rooms. The next day, Lanny went to Dragonfall Ridge with his father and died after being seriously injured. He then took over this body.

In other words, strictly speaking, this woman is not the woman from the previous body!

He guessed that this woman looked down on his predecessor. After all, during his recovery, she had subtly inquired about his reputation, which was terrible. He was practically the epitome of a wicked, lecherous, and ignorant person.

During her recovery, she visited Lenny twice, each time staying for less than ten minutes. She kept a cold face, didn't look at him, and said some very formulaic words of comfort before leaving.

Lanny didn't care. To him, this lady was a complete stranger, and she didn't dislike him anyway.

Tiffany was the seventh daughter of Count Eindhoven.

The marriage was arranged by Count Einaud and his deceased father. The official story was that August had begged the Count repeatedly before he agreed. However, Frank had told him in private that the Count had agreed immediately, not after much begging, and even seemed somewhat impatient.

Frank spoke of this with obvious resentment.

At that time, the Earl had only one condition: that August send troops as soon as possible to wipe out a group of Grumman bandits who were lurking near Black Pine Ridge.

As a chivalrous enthusiast, August readily agreed to the Count's conditions without hesitation.

Those guys were very cunning. They kept roaming around Black Pine Ridge, striking and fleeing whenever they found an opportunity, never lingering in battle.

The only one in the vicinity who could give them an absolute advantage was Baron August Wells, after all, he had a knightly force of up to 25 men, so the Earl naturally approached him.

At the time, I don't know what got into August, but he was determined to bring Lanny along, saying that he wanted him to experience the cruelty of the battlefield.

He probably thought at the time that it would be a piece of cake for twenty-five knights to fight a group of Grummans with little armor.

Who would have thought that the father and son would be so unlucky? They finally managed to capture the group of Grummans, but in the heat of battle, another group suddenly appeared from behind and surrounded them. In the end, August and several knights were killed in battle, and Lanny was seriously wounded.

Lanny's safe return is truly thanks to the knights who risked their lives to save him, regardless of whether they genuinely wanted to protect him or were just using him as a pretext for escaping.

However, Lenny Wells still didn't make it and died the night he returned to the castle. It was at that time that he transmigrated and took over this body.

During this time, it was said that a group of Grummans crossed Black Pine Ridge and roamed around the territories of several nobles. Count Enno was busy directing his men to intercept them and put out fires everywhere. On the contrary, Castel Ridge, which is closest to Black Pine Ridge, seemed unusually calm.

Frank waited a moment, and seeing that Lenny didn't seem inclined to speak, he cautiously continued, "Recently, I've heard some unpleasant rumors outside, saying... saying... that you were injured last time, that you hit a vital spot, so I arranged for..."

what?

Who the hell is spreading these rumors? It's unbelievable. No wonder Frank staged such a farce.

Frank is probably the one most worried about this rumor.

As a butler who grew up in the Wells family, he practically considered the Wells family his own home.

Lanny interrupted him, somewhat speechless, and waved his hand impatiently, "Alright, alright, stop listening to baseless rumors. Go and get some rest, I'm all set for tonight!"

After Frank left the study, Lanny finally began to consider whether or not to go back to her own bedroom that night!

This rumor is forcing me to go back to my bedroom.

Tiffany was actually quite beautiful. If he hadn't been busy integrating into this world, he would have moved back to his bedroom long ago. Anyway, that woman had nothing to do with his predecessor, so he didn't feel any psychological burden.

But being forced to move back and moving back on his own are not the same thing, and he was caught in a dilemma.

Thinking of Tiffany's appearance, he couldn't help but feel his heart flutter and lose control.

With a delicate face, snow-white skin, a magnificent chest, long golden hair, and blue eyes, she was practically a childlike beauty. Even in another world, she would be considered a stunning beauty.

"How about tonight?" Lanny muttered to himself, as if encouraging himself.

Having made up her mind, she stopped arguing and got up to walk towards her actual bedroom.

His only worry was Tiffany's reaction.

I hope I won't get kicked out.

The castle was very quiet at night. Walking in the empty corridors, he could only hear the echoing sound of his own footsteps, which gradually calmed his feverish mind.

Thinking about the unfamiliarity he felt with that woman, he hesitated for a moment.

As an honest man who had never been to a nightclub before, he was not used to dealing with strange women, and his nervousness was understandable.

Fortunately, the corridor wasn't long, and he had already reached the bedroom door before he even had the thought of turning back.

I stood in front of the bedroom, calming my nervousness. Just as I was about to push the door open, I found that the candlelight was still on inside, and the door was not locked. It opened easily with a gentle push.

Upon entering the room, they found that the candles were still lit, but Tiffany was already lying in bed, and they didn't know if she was asleep.

He swallowed hard and looked around at the room's furnishings. It was almost his first time in this room, and it felt very unfamiliar.

The room was smaller than the study. Opposite the door, against the wall, was a wooden bed. To the left, by the window, was a rustic dressing table, and on the other side was a tall wooden wardrobe. On the wall next to the door hung a gruesome horned creature skull specimen, along with two longswords hanging below it, instantly giving the room a fierce and rugged feel.

It seems that, regardless of his personality, the predecessor was greatly influenced by Auguste in terms of hobbies.

In the dim candlelight, one could vaguely see Tiffany lying quietly in bed with her eyes closed, her pretty face showing tension; clearly, she had heard him come in.

The flickering candlelight made Tiffany's already exquisite face appear even more delicate and fair.

It is said that beauties are intoxicated by lamplight, and indeed, beauties look more and more beautiful under lamplight. The ancients were right.

Tiffany was not asleep. As Lanny approached, her beautiful eyes rolled and trembled slightly.

So it turns out he wasn't the only one who was nervous; she was nervous about his arrival too?

He chuckled inwardly, his initial tension dissipating and him relaxing somewhat in the scene.

He originally thought the other party would have some strong reaction, but to his surprise, even after he sat on the bed, the other party just hid under the covers and trembled, without making any other expression.

It seems that my previous guess was correct. Although she seemed to look down on her husband, she had not completely given up on the marriage.

At least, for now.

He leaned down and gently kissed Tiffany on the cheek, and a blush visibly rose on her face, her eyes closing even tighter.

Haha, that's interesting. She seems even more nervous than I am!

"ha... ..."

Lanny chuckled, took off his pajamas, lifted a corner of the blankets, and crawled inside.

The bedding was very warm and had a strange fragrance, I couldn't tell if it was perfume powder or the other person's body scent.

Adding to the sight of the other person's snow-white skin peeking out from under their pajamas, and the smooth skin pressed against his own, he felt his body getting hotter and hotter.

Although he wasn't a virgin in the other world, he was faced with such a beautiful woman, a woman who was nominally his wife but was practically a stranger to him!

Tension, anticipation, excitement, and much more.

He swallowed hard, and nervously reached out his hand towards that slightly trembling, delicate body.
