Two gunshots rang out, and the door was riddled with holes, followed by the sounds of two people falling to the ground.

With a kick, Lan Tian turned around and hid behind a wall, using the force of the kick to quickly turn around and hide behind the wall, raising his gun and aiming it at the door of the opposite room.

Sure enough, the door across the hall opened, and two fully armed mercenaries rushed out.

But they were stunned when they saw someone holding a shotgun and pointing it at the blue sky in their direction from the opposite doorway.

After waiting for a while, Lan Tian took out four shotgun shells from in front of his bulletproof vest and loaded them into the shotgun. Then he turned around and went into the room whose door had been kicked open.

Two bloodied drug traffickers and two AK47s were visible on the ground not far away. One of them had a bloody mess on his left chest and shoulder, and his severed arm lay quietly at the door. The other was in an even more gruesome state, with most of his head gone.

It's not hard to imagine the posture these two were in when they stood against the doorway, waiting for Lantian to arrive.

There was nothing noteworthy in the room. Lan Tian then examined the bodies of the two mercenaries, but found nothing there either.
