The Strongest Magician of Gods

Chapter 92: Basic Law

The bamboo forest is quiet and lush, with bamboo leaves waving in sword shapes. A gentle breeze blows, and the rows of green bamboo sway slowly in the wind.

"Crunch, crunch."

Mo Bei and his companion walked through the tall bamboo forest. A layer of withered bamboo leaves was piled up on the ground beneath their feet, and tender bamboo shoots, each the size of a fingernail, emerged from the ground, covered in soil and exuding a fresh and invigorating aroma.

The bamboo forest was so dense, tall and lush, stretching as far as the eye could see, with rows of green bamboo climbing the hills.

"Whoosh, whoosh."

An ankle-deep stream cascades down from the mountaintop, its water icy cold and crystal clear, nourishing the tall bamboo groves beside it, making them even more lush.

Until they reached the deepest part of the bamboo forest, a flat area appeared before them, surrounded by a dozen huge rocks, as if they had entered a mysterious cave.

Beneath the surrounding massive rocks, thick bamboo shoots grow tenaciously from the base of the rocks in a twisted and contorted manner, creating a truly spectacular sight.

A light mist hung over the bamboo forest, and the fat monk turned around and stopped.

"The basic methods of a great mage's cultivation encompass everything. The basic methods are easy to understand; they are the most common methods in physical cultivation. The basic methods contain the root of all methods in the world. Among them, the most basic methods include basic fist techniques, basic palm techniques, basic finger techniques, basic leg techniques, and basic weapon techniques. There are no shortcuts to cultivating these methods; one can only start from the true power of one's true self and cultivate step by step to a deeper level."

The fat monk stood with his hands behind his back, his bald head glistening with a few drops of mist, like a dream.

"Then how should I cultivate?"

Mo Bei was even more confused, completely bewildered and unable to make sense of it.

"Don't you have any boxing manuals or swordplay secrets? My understanding of the basics is very vague, and I have no idea how to practice properly," Mo Bei said dejectedly.

"You want to cultivate after only listening for a short while?" the fat monk asked in surprise.

"I'm just explaining the meaning of the Basic Law to you. If you want to cultivate yourself, you're still far from it in your current state!"

The fat monk was smug. He then delivered a devastating blow, nearly causing Mo Bei to faint from anger.

"You...you're lying to me again. You were just lecturing me a moment ago. What kind of person are you? You change your attitude the moment you turn your back on me."

Mo Bei roared angrily, his head tilted back and his teeth clenched, filled with hatred!

He glared at him angrily with a dark face, which amused the fat monk.

"Calm down, I haven't finished speaking yet, what's the rush?"

"Uh!"

Mo Bei was stunned, then pointed with his finger and said excitedly.

“You promised to teach me.”

His eyes lit up, and a faint smile appeared on his lips.

But the fat monk shook his head, and Mo Bei's heart sank again.

“It’s not that I don’t want to teach you, it’s not possible yet. You need to start practicing from the very basics. Only then can you gradually learn more. Otherwise, even if you learn it, it won’t be of much use to you,” the fat monk said.

Mo Bei fell into deep thought.

"You're keeping me in suspense again. No matter how much you explain, I still don't know how to cultivate." He pouted, his resentment overflowing.

As Mo Bei finished speaking, the fat monk subconsciously stomped his foot.

"Boom"

A huge rock was sent flying by his kick, and then a sweeping leg left afterimages as it struck the rock.

That was terrifying. The stone weighed at least ten thousand pounds, but in the fat monk's eyes, it was as easy as kicking a toy.

A massive boulder, weighing tens of thousands of kilograms, was hurled through the air with tremendous force, piercing right through the ground and causing a series of violent sounds to erupt in the air.

"Damn it!" he exclaimed. At such close range, he instantly felt a terrifying sense of crisis; the feeling of death was too intense.

Mo Bei was so frightened that his legs went weak. He was flustered and confused, a chill ran down his spine and his scalp tingled.

"Damn it, I'm going to die, I'm going to die!" Mo Bei muttered, stamping his feet in frustration.

A huge rock plummeted from the sky, the air becoming turbulent and scorching. The speed of the fall was so fast that in the blink of an eye, he lowered his neck, raised his hands, and lifted the rock into the air.

"Mad, crazy."

Mo Bei was completely exhausted. He let out a weak roar, and the massive boulder above his head collapsed from nowhere. With a rumble, his feet sank an inch into the ground, his back slumped low, his bones and tendons cracked, and his body trembled under the weight. In the end, he managed to stop the enormous force of the boulder.

His entire body was wracked with intense pain, with no place to escape it. His bones cracked repeatedly, and even a momentary touch to his flesh had caused severe injuries, a truly gruesome sight.

The fat monk smiled silently, his round belly jiggling as he picked up the gourd at his waist and took a swig of hot liquor.

"Tsk, tsk."

The fat monk looked at the disheveled Mo Bei, bent down and carried the large stone on his back, his eyes bloodshot to the extreme.

"Your physical skills have improved too quickly, and your strength probably hasn't fully matured yet. So let me help you! Young man, don't be lazy. At this crucial moment, you must keep pushing yourself. I have faith in you."

The fat monk swayed with flamboyant steps, his breath reeking of strong alcohol, and greeted Mo Bei, who was bowing his head deeply, in a low voice.

"Physical skills are further honed through practice. When I first met you, I knew that your mastery of the body was not yet proficient enough, so I specially presented you with this great gift. Hehe, are you satisfied with this gift?" the fat monk said smugly.

"Damn it... Satisfied my foot!"

Mo Bei froze instantly, her voice becoming sharp. "Damn it! You made the decision for me without a word, did I agree to it? And you even offered such a big gift? I don't need you to give me one, I have plenty of people like that, okay?"

"Hehe! No need to say anything to thank me, I understand. Keep up the good work these past few days, and master your physical strength as soon as possible! Keep it up, young man."

The fat monk, with a cunning smile, raised his little fist and gently cheered himself on. His gentle voice instantly became kind and benevolent. But after saying these words, he swayed his plump body and walked past Mo Bei triumphantly.

Mo Bei burst into tears. The endless mockery was simply unbearable!

"You filthy scoundrel...you pervert...you better not run away, I'll teach you a lesson."

Mo Bei cursed loudly, and his voice echoed throughout the room.

"Hmm, look at that voice, it's so calm and balanced, it feels quite relaxed!"

The fat monk paused for a moment, bit his fingernail, then turned around and swaggered toward Mo Bei.

As he walked over, the fat monk picked up a stone weighing over a thousand pounds from the ground, held it in his hands, and gently placed it on Mo Bei's back.

"Hehe! That should be about right!"

The fat monk grinned sheepishly, and as he watched as another massive boulder weighing a thousand pounds was added to the already enormous boulder, Mo Bei instantly spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Ah!" With a tragic scream, Mo Bei met his end.

"You damned monk, are you always this cunning? Do you have no humanity? This is abusing a minor, it's illegal."

Mo Bei's sharp voice slowly turned into a sob, echoing through the dense bamboo forest.

Thus, one shameful curse after another echoed from the bamboo forest.
