The Strongest Magician of Gods

Chapter 67: Battle Qi Expert

In the pitch-black flames, Mo Bei approached step by step, black flames blooming on his magic robe, and a pair of stern eyes revealing an imposing aura.

"Is this guy even human?"

The mysterious man was terrified when he saw Mo Bei climb out of the strange fire unharmed.

Moreover, the shockwaves generated by this battle have already spread throughout the entire academy; continuing the fight would be extremely disadvantageous for him.

"There's still time; this person must be killed."

The mysterious man was furious. Mo Bei's appearance had disrupted his plans. Such a variable appearing beside him was devastating to him, and he would never allow such a being to continue living so comfortably.

"Heh, I'm really looking forward to it. It's been a long time since I've encountered such a formidable opponent."

The mysterious man sneered, his body ramrod straight, and a chilling laugh escaped his lips.

"Swish"

Then, a pair of ghostly eyes flashed, and the entire space was instantly filled with a dense lightning force. The lightning roared and surged across the dark night sky, and more than a dozen purple lightning bolts suddenly thundered down from the void onto the ground.

With a "crack," more than a dozen massive bolts of lightning struck, and Mo Bei's expression suddenly became uneasy.

It was a brutal scene, with dust flying everywhere, and the surrounding atmosphere became murky and dangerous.

"What's going on? His physique has changed again. Could he be a three-element mage? How is it possible for him to be a mage of lightning, fire, and metal elements?" Mo Bei's face finally changed color.

Lightning flashed all around, and dark clouds filled his vision. Mo Bei looked up at the sky and earth in horror. At this moment, the place was desolate and barren. He felt as if he had entered another time and space, which was both illusory and real.

"Absolutely impossible. Analyzing the magic power condensed throughout his body, he couldn't possibly be a three-elemental mage. But how do you explain this lightning power?"

Mo Bei panicked, caught in an inexplicable power. He couldn't explain the cause of everything happening before his eyes. In this situation, fighting against an unknown force, his fate was already clear.

In that brief moment, Mo Bei knew that his chances of survival in this battle were less than one percent.

"Impossible, absolutely impossible."

Mo Bei's eyes were bloodshot, a look of fear that came with the prospect of death.

"Heh, for a former genius to show such compassion in the face of death only proves that you... are afraid."

A voice came from the clouds amidst the dense thunderclouds.

Mo Bei was startled awake, his bloodshot eyes filled with resentment.

"Who are you, you damned man!" Mo Bei roared, dark purple veins crawling across his face, and black flames surging around him.

"Poor reptile."

After a long while, a deep sound came from the horizon, which contained a hint of excitement.

Mo Bei stared intently, searching for the mysterious person's hiding place amidst the rolling thunderclouds.

As he explored, the fog around him thickened considerably. Mo Bei tried to recall the mysterious man, but in the end, only a pair of evil eyes remained in his mind.

"I know, it's his eyes, it must be."

Mo Bei shook his head, excited. In an instant, the problem before him was solved.

"We can take a gamble. If we win, we live; if we lose, we die."

Mo Bei made up his mind.

"Whoosh"

He closed his eyes and channeled his magic, determined to risk his life rather than sit idly by and wait for death.

"Flap flap flap"

His magic boots flapped their grey-blue wings. He remained motionless, and suddenly the boots took flight, sending him and his figure sliding backward in a series of afterimages. The mysterious man was astonished once again.

After retreating dozens of feet, Mo Bei closed his eyes, and afterimages appeared all over the sky. His figure swayed in mid-air before finally stopping.

The speed was so fast, it was dazzling. In the blink of an eye, Mo Bei disappeared from his original spot and appeared in a very far place.

"If it's a secret power unleashed by his pupil technique, then there must be some limitations at his level." Mo Bei understood, and the power of wisdom in his mind surged.

"Swish"

After moving several dozen feet away, Mo Bei opened his eyes expectantly, only to find that the thunderclouds had disappeared and he was still in the magic academy.

"As expected, it's another illusion. Luckily, his pupil technique isn't very advanced, or he would be in serious trouble," Mo Bei murmured.

The mysterious figure opposite bowed slightly, clearly indicating that the use of Ghost Eye was also consuming a great deal of magic power.

"You broke my illusion. In such a remote place, a magician could break my illusion. Those magical artifacts must be incredibly powerful, of extremely high rank."

The mysterious man was panting. He wanted to leave, and he didn't want to fight such an enemy, because it was too terrifying. But he couldn't. If he left, his efforts over the past few years might be in vain. He didn't want to gamble. He had no choice but to fight with all his might.

"Forget it, I'll just use my full power to eliminate any future threat. As long as I kill him, no one will know my identity."

The mysterious man spoke, his voice still chilling.

He was breathing heavily, his body slowly straightening from a slight hunch. He had depleted more than half of his magical power, but his aura did not weaken.

"What a formidable enemy! Could he possibly have another trick up his sleeve?"

Mo Bei couldn't understand it. The enemy in front of him was too strange. His magic and eye techniques were unprecedented, and the way he cast spells was like a ghost.

"Troublesome. With those eyes casting illusions, once someone enters the attack range, the illusion's power will be unleashed."

Mo Bei muttered to himself, his eyes fixed on the mysterious man. The sense of crisis hadn't subsided, forcing him to be cautious.

"Let's use physical attacks! A mage's fragile body makes it hard to dodge once you get close. Heh! You're asking for it, don't blame me for being ruthless."

The mysterious man smiled sinisterly; beneath his disheveled appearance lay an aura of immense danger.

"kill"

A sudden gust of wind descended, accompanied by a tremendous roar. The mysterious figure moved swiftly, leaping several times, and approached with a cross-shaped sword in hand.

A double image appeared, and the mysterious man flashed, his huge cross sword slashing down with force, a sword light a full ten feet long cutting down.

It was too sudden. A huge sword light flashed and suddenly approached Mo Bei's face. In the blink of an eye, the figure leaped several steps.

"Holy crap, this isn't a magician, how come they're charging in with a sword? What kind of move is that?"

Mo Bei stood there stunned for a moment. He really couldn't believe that the mysterious man's attack method had taken such a dramatic turn.

"Fight...fight...fight with spirit."

In an instant, a word came to Mo Bei's mind.

"Swish"

Mo Bei sprinted forward, the gray-blue fleshy wings on his magic boots flapping as he suddenly leaped away.

"Where...where do you come from?"

Mo Bei swayed and appeared on the other side, asking the mysterious man with alarm.
