The Strongest Magician of Gods

Chapter 65: The Ghost Eye Family

The magic boots were exquisite, engraved with profound runes, and a mysterious power flowed within them. Clearly, these magic boots were no ordinary objects; they were magical artifacts.

"Swish"

Mo Bei channeled his magic, and soon his black magic boots began to shine.

"Flap flap flap"

At a speed visible to the naked eye, four dark-colored wings slowly emerged from the magic boots; the wings looked very realistic. Mo Bei stroked them, and the wings flapped deftly.

"Wow"

Mo Bei leaped from the top of the skyscraper, a gust of wind whipping his hair around him. Below, all was darkness, and a few cars looked only as small as fingernails from the air.

He jumped down, and his magic boots trembled. Suddenly, a pair of dark-colored fleshy wings appeared on both sides of the boots, with neat blue-gray feathers on them.

"Flap flap flap"

Mo Bei, dressed in a magical robe, danced gracefully, his magical boots flapping with four fleshy wings. His body moved horizontally through the skyscrapers, circling them in circles.

"Huff huff"

Amidst howling winds, Mo Bei flew upside down, adapting to the wondrous uses of his magic boots. He would suddenly stand upright and then tumble backward, appearing erratic and disoriented from afar, yet possessing a chaotic yet beautiful quality.

Mo Bei leaped freely, soaring to the top of a tall building one moment and then suddenly dropping halfway down, traversing the building horizontally.

His body, visible through the crystalline glass, flashed by in an instant, accompanied by the deafening roar of the wind. At that moment, Mo Bei screamed wildly as his body swept across the sky above the town.

The dense, ancient trees were thick and vigorous. Mo Bei turned from the town into the ancient forest.

The night was deep and dark. After a while, in the hazy distance, a dark castle appeared before them, and a black river splashed and roared, crashing against the hard rock walls all around.

In Austin School of Magic, a giant flying serpent statue sits in front of the huge front yard. It is all black, with a terrifying red light emanating from its eyes, and its neck is flat like wings.

Normally, the Flying Serpent is always sealed, but now its large, scarlet snake eyes reveal a human-like greed.

"In a little while, the Flying Serpent will be able to break free of its seal. Three years of effort have finally paid off. Now, I've been feeding this serpent with magical runes inscribed with my own blood essence for several years. Once the time is right, I will possess a seventh-tier magical beast. According to ancient texts from a thousand years ago, this beast likely possesses a trace amount of dragon blood, making it a hybrid of dragon and serpent. The only regret is that this serpent has been sealed for a thousand years. If it weren't for its own dragon bloodline and long lifespan, it would probably have died under the thousand-year seal long ago. Hehe!"

In the dark front yard, a figure dressed in a dark blue magic robe and wearing a magic hat that obscured all vision.

"Austin City is in chaos, which is good for me. Who will pay attention to this place now? Once I break the seal of the Flying Serpent, I can go anywhere on the continent."

In the man's dark eyes, some kind of rune erupted, and the pool water beneath the flying serpent gradually turned scarlet.

"The sacrificial ritual was too dangerous, and I've been secretly practicing it for years. Luckily, Ronan helped me a lot, and the speed of the sacrifices has increased significantly in just a few days. Hehe, that should be enough for today."

The man smiled sinisterly, the runes in his hands glowing with a bloody light, clearly indicating that he was at a critical moment.

At this moment, the magic boots in the Magic Front Courtyard flew around, causing Mo Bei to stagger and weave through the space. Suddenly, they left a series of afterimages in the sky and slid down. Mo Bei's vision blurred, and the scene in front of him became incredibly clear.

Upon closer inspection, a mysterious magician was seen bowing motionless beneath the flying serpent. Visibility was poor in the darkness, with only a shimmering light visible.

On the other side, when Mo Bei's figure appeared in the air, the person was clearly flustered.

"Who could it be so late! Damn it, we were just a hair's breadth away from being there."

The man was enraged and increased the speed of his refining. Slowly, a flash of blood-red light appeared, and within a few breaths, the divine runes on his hand dimmed, and the day's refining finally came to an end.

"I hope he didn't see it! Heh," the man sneered.

Mo Bei slowly descended from the sky, his magic boots returning to their normal form. He stepped forward, wondering who this person was in the academy.

The magic academy was quiet under the cover of night. Mo Bei walked over and scrutinized the unfamiliar figure from behind.

"He doesn't seem familiar at all, he's utterly stranger. Could this person be a magic apprentice? But judging from his aura, his magic must be incredibly powerful."

Mo Bei guessed, and strode forward.

"Friends ahead, may I ask what brings you to my Austin Academy of Magic?"

After Mo Bei finished speaking, he suddenly stopped. He sensed something unusual, a strange emotion accompanied by a sense of danger.

His expression turned serious.

"Swish"

Upon hearing Mo Bei's voice, the man slowly turned around. His magic hat covered his face, leaving only a pair of dark eyes staring intently at him.

In a flash, Mo Bei jumped and slipped. When the man looked over, he sensed danger in those dark eyes.

"Whoosh"

Sure enough, as soon as the man turned around, his dark eyes shone with a sinister green light, his gaze intense and containing some kind of secret power.

"Illusion"

Mo Bei lost his balance and was about to tumble down from the air, but luckily his magic boots flapped their two fleshy wings and saved him from danger.

"Oh, that's interesting."

The man lowered his voice, which was clearly disguised using ingredients from a magic potion.

In fact, when he saw that the person was Mo Bei, his panic subsided considerably. Over the past few years, Mo Bei's reputation as a good-for-nothing had resounded throughout the entire academy. What did it matter if such a person discovered him? Even if he returned to his peak level, he was not afraid. With his strength, he was naturally invincible among his peers.

"It should be someone you know. If it's a stranger, there's no need to hide your voice."

Mo Bei suddenly had a guess: the man in front of him was very likely hiding in the academy, with a similar identity to his own, and had ulterior motives.

"We still don't know what this person's purpose is. Dressed like this, and with those eerie green eyes, it seems like some kind of power awakened from a bloodline. If my guess is correct, then this guy's strength needs to be reassessed. Damn it, if the ancient ring doesn't malfunction at this time, it will slap him in the face in no time. Without this aid, it's like he's missing a pair of eyes," Mo Bei said angrily.

An illusion flashed in the man's eyes. He estimated that Mo Bei would be caught off guard and fall for it, but Mo Bei unexpectedly dodged it.

"I underestimated this guy," the man whispered.
