The Strongest Magician of Gods
Chapter 51: Meeting
The magical forest under the night sky was extremely majestic. Occasionally, a huge cry would rise from the sky and earth. It was a huge bird of prey. When it spread its wings, it covered most of the forest.
Mo Bei sped through the forest on his broomstick. The ancient trees around him were huge and exuded a sense of antiquity. Each tree was enormous and unimaginable.
"Roar"
A gigantic bird soared into the sky, obscuring the endless expanse. Its enormous, dark shadow was deep and profound, with a pair of blood-red eyes the size of a face, and a black eyeball the size of a human head that contained a terrifying ferocity.
The cries of birds echoed, the sound waves sweeping across the heavens and earth like a mighty whirlwind.
"rumble"
As the gust of wind swept in, Mo Bei's magical broom was blown about, swaying wildly and flying out of control in mid-air.
"Goodness, what is that thing?"
Mo Bei looked up and saw a gleam emanating from the body of the enormous bird, its wings full and each feather gleaming with a terrifying cold light.
In an instant, Mo Bei was filled with fear. Only at this moment did he realize what the black creature above him looked like.
A bird so powerful it's outrageous.
As the bird suddenly flew in, its vast aura scraped against people like a fierce sword, causing them excruciating pain.
"This is terrifying. Just what level is this giant bird at? The aura emanating from its body is something that ordinary people cannot withstand."
Mo Bei, riding his broom, trembled uncontrollably, cursing the Soul-Stealing Hall bastards in his heart. They'd only just arrived in the Magic Forest and already encountered such a crisis; given the dangers of the Magic Forest, the Soul-Stealing Hall's secret mission was unlikely to be easy.
"Damn it, my life is so miserable. With my current cultivation level, I'm still thinking about challenging the Blood Fiend Hall in the future. They're trying to drive me to my death! And that Soul-Seizing Hall, are they out of their minds? It's just an outer sect mission, do they have to be so ruthless!"
Mo Bei cursed and swore. This was his first time encountering a mission from the Soul-Seizing Hall. Looking at the large bird circling overhead, he had a bad feeling about how dangerous this mission would be.
"Damn it, we're caught between a rock and a hard place. The danger of this mission has exceeded my expectations. If things continue like this, our opponent tonight may have already surpassed the legendary realm."
Mo Bei stopped using the magic broom, his mind racing. Suddenly, a glimmer of clarity appeared in his mind, and his agitated emotions gradually calmed down.
“This mission is not simple. Since receiving the mission, Luo Xiu has not given any general information about it. Also, seeing how anxiously he came to find me last time, he probably also anticipated how difficult this mission would be. It is very likely that this mission is the most difficult he has encountered in recent years,” Mo Bei pondered.
"Damn it, if that's the case, no wonder he swallowed his pride and came to me last time. I thought he was being isolated by the other disciples! If that's the case, it's possible that Luo Xiu is isolating the others. Damn, I almost fell for his trick."
Mo Bei cursed and swore, looking at the powerful bird in the sky with a sense of vigilance.
"It's getting more and more complicated. With my personality, I'd be lucky if I didn't get sold out."
Mo Bei grumbled, and as the night grew darker, he activated his magic and flew deeper into the forest.
Deeper into the forest, it was even darker, with only a few patches of swamp where rows of brightly glowing flowers bloomed.
Everything in the magical world seemed to be enveloped in a mysterious force, which even the flowers, plants, and trees could not escape.
"shhhhh"
Mo Bei galloped away, fierce winds swirling around him. His magic broom was incredibly fast, weaving through the dense forest, darting left and right, leaving a trail of long streaks in its wake.
"Damn it, why aren't we here yet? We were told there was a hotel!"
Mo Bei surveyed the surrounding space, but apart from the roars of ferocious beasts, he couldn't see a single thing.
"shhhhh"
He slowed the speed of his magic broom, his magic robes billowing in the air.
"Oh, is it there?"
Before long, deep in the dark forest, Mo Bei saw a small hill with faint, flickering lights.
"Finally found it, I'm exhausted."
Mo Bei scoffed, channeled his magic, and his magic broom sped off, heading straight for the faint firelight on the horizon.
Fifteen minutes later, the faint lights in front of them became clearer and clearer until a castle-like restaurant appeared at the end of the endless night.
"Come here, little guy, want to play?"
As Mo Bei approached the castle, in the brightly lit area, a drunkard embraced a beautiful barmaid, beckoning to Mo Bei with a knowing smile on his face.
"Showy."
Mo Bei gave a cold laugh, ignoring him completely. He then thrust his hips forward, and his magic broom darted into the dimly lit castle.
"Little one, this place is a famous lover's paradise, so captivating you'll never want to leave. You'll regret it if you don't come!"
Another shameful laugh came from upstairs, and Mo Bei spat out a few mouthfuls of saliva.
"Pah, you lecher! You're pushing your bike, trying to tempt me? I'm only drinking, not pushing the bike! That won't do!"
After saying that, Mo Bei used his magic to retrieve the magic broom and marched into the castle's streets without looking back.
His words left everyone stunned.
"A master indeed!" the drunkard said with a sly smile.
Beneath the bright lights of the night market, the crowds gradually thickened. However, these people were not ordinary citizens from the magical continent; each one was dressed in a magic robe. This was the first time Mo Bei had ever encountered so many magicians.
"Damn it, wasn't this supposed to be a restaurant? Why is there a market here? Did we go to the wrong place? If so, we'll lose face big time."
Mo Bei strolled through the crowded market. Looking up, he saw that the market was right next to a restaurant, but he couldn't find the restaurant's entrance.
"fool"
Amidst the noisy crowd, a magical fluctuation reached Mo Bei's ears.
"Well"
Upon hearing this, Mo Bei turned his head and looked up. A familiar figure was leaning against the window, laughing loudly.
"Hey loser, you're hiding up there? When did you get here?"
Mo Bei jumped up in surprise, excited.
"I arrived a long time ago."
A lazy voice came through again.
"By the way, just walk a little further ahead, and the main entrance will appear. When you get there, go to the second floor and say you are a disciple of Lord Yuanlong."
At this moment, Luo Xiu's voice fell again, and Mo Bei nodded and snapped his fingers.
As they moved forward, sure enough, on one side of the street, a huge staircase gleamed, its floor inlaid with beautiful, sparkling stones.
"Da da da"
Mo Bei climbed the stairs in a few steps, turned the door around, and stepped into the hotel lobby.
Luxurious and magnificent, from the outside one would think it was a castle built deep in a magical forest, but it turns out it was actually a hotel.
The market was simply a section opened up beneath the hotel; all the buildings were just a part of the hotel.
"Young mage, do you have an appointment with our shop?"
A beautiful young woman, wearing a short skirt, flashed a charming smile.
“I’ve already made an appointment. I am Lord Yuanlong’s disciple,” Mo Bei said.
"Oh, so you are Lord Yuanlong's disciple. Please come upstairs. Lord Yuanlong arrived long ago and gave these instructions specifically," the young woman said with a smile.
"Oh, he's here too."
Mo Bei was surprised. He originally thought that this mission was just a discussion between a few of the disciples, but he didn't expect that even Lord Yuanlong would come in person.
"This is troublesome, a conspiracy! This old bastard is plotting something, we're doomed, a fierce battle is definitely in the works."
Mo Bei was actually devastated when he heard that Lord Yuanlong had also arrived.
